@@stanisawkowalski7440 Hello, i'm sorry for answering so late, christmas... Yeah, the reviews and the reality are two different stories. On the first look, it seems, that there is enough mesh on the sides of the front panel, so that there should be no problem with airflow, but if you own a case and take a closer look, what's behind the mesh, you realize, that this is not the case. They covered up about 60% - maybe even more - with plastic... So when you close the door, the fans don't get enough air, the graphicscard and the cpu-fan / aio is loader. This was the problem i had. This leads to the effect, that the hot air bounces back into the case... With the front door closed, the PC was about twice as loud, when gaming... Probably not, what you would expect from a silent case. It also has more flaws, but as i said before, it is great for a server, where you would install your own cloudstorage for example. Truly the most user-relatable content in the PC space. Giving the NR200 the COTY shows how much you understand what the mainstream market needs more. Glad you had a good year on TH-cam. See you in 2021
As an owner of the NZXT H1, yes the GPU thermals are bad, but I've done some quick and clean mods and workarounds, and I absolutely love my case! Great video!
Please, share! I have NZXT H1 and i do not see big difference in GPU cooling vs my old Corsair Obsidian 400D case. In both case i have 75 C in 100% GPU load.
IMO, the NR200 is the perfect HTPC case. I got a black non-TG version for my first mini-ITX build, and it was really easy to build in - and even has two mounting points for the 3.5" drives from my old PC. I also really appreciate that the upward facing power light around the power button doesn't shine directly towards the room when the PC is on.
Aren't they all the same? There's been nothing new on the case market in 2020: Box with mesh on the front Box with mesh on the front with 200mm fans Box with mesh on the front with RGB on bottom Box with mesh on the front with RGB on front Box with glass on the front (also comes in mesh)
I still have mine too, but I'm very disappointed with it for the price I bought it for (160 bucks). Yeah it looks great but the airflow is horrible, the stock fans are horrible and you have to reform some of the case to fit some watercoolers. I should've just bought the Define S for less than half the price...

Be Qiuet 500DX case is indeed a great one! I've been using it for about a half year and it is silent, great looking and easy to work with. It also has a great airflow.
I got the NR200P a few weeks ago for my second build and love it. Only (minor) complaint is the aforementioned cable management. And the fact that I had to buy an SFX power supply (though there is apparently a bracket being produced that will allow it to support ATX PSUs).
I just built a NR200P and I confirm it's a great case that can fit crazy large components and is fairly easy to operate. A fat RTX 3080 is no problem for it.
Recently went from a Corsair Vengeance C70 to a 4000D Airflow and it's just so easy to work in, good temps and good value. Definitely worth checking it out if you're in the market for a new case.

Love your evil twin. What a genius way of criticizing some of these companies & parts w/o risking sponsorships. Best tech youtube with great sense of humor.
My favorite this year is the Phanteks P400A non digital, I always prefer cases with built in fan controllers (probably because my first case was a NZXT Phantom 410.. what a beast of a case lol).
That drive tray on the Lan cool 2 is definitely removable. I just took off the front fan mount and that removable tray for radiators and it came right out
My friend, everytime I see a case video of yours involving the Lancool II Mesh you say that the hard drive cage cannot be removed. When in fact it can and has in my build as well as plenty of others I've seen on reddit or youtube and with that being your only real gripe with the case I was hoping this knowledge would make you happy. Happy Holidays!
Just moved my ITX server from a Fractal Core 500 to an NR-200. It's a bit taller, but also a bit thinner, so overall still fairly compact. What was the real point, though, was getting 2 240mm rads vs just 1. It's actually pretty spacious, I even fit a full DDC with a tube res basically on top of the GPU at the back of the case. What I'd recommend to anyone trying to do the same, though, is don't use 3/8"x5/8" tubing, go thinner. Trying to fit those tubes with such tight bends was a pain. Also, I couldn't get the side rad to clear the GPU fittings without mounting it to the 280mm rails and only screwing in at the top to offset it up a little. So consider that as a possible necessity. Otherwise, surprisingly easy given the space constraints. Temps are great too cause the rads are standard 30mm thick and all but 1 fan is 25mm (and that one could've fit too, just without much room for exiting air to go anywhere, so it felt more prudent to go with a 15mm option)
Installed my pc on the Lancool II mesh this week. Great case, best I've ever had. Oh, and you can remove the hdd bay, I've seen it on another guide video. Just rotate it and remove it through the front side.
The NR200/NR200P also has some nice customization support through some accessories you can have 3D printed like ATX power supply mounts, different feet, and a complete 3D model of the top panel so you can make up your own. All files given out freely to anyone who wants to print them by Cooler Master themselves.
I have the Lancool 215. Outside of the area for the power supply it wasn’t bad to work in. Had decent room for too mounting an aio without running into the motherboard.
Good stuff Dmitry love the format. 😉 And thanks for all your great content in 2020.... you and my other favourite tech tubers have made this year much more bearable
I really want to emphasize how ridiculously great the thermals are on the NR200 non-P. I didn't have a case for about a month, where a gaming load had my CPU (i7-4790k) with a Hyper 212 Evo be around 63C, while my GPU (1070Ti) was 65C. With the NR200 at stock config, my CPU temps only went up by 5C, and my GPU temps up by just 2C. Such little temperature difference to an open air system for a SFF case is insane.
It will be exciting to see Cooler Master try to make a compliment to their NR200 that is even smaller. I really liked the NR200, but it wasn’t optimized for any one specific cooling method, so it was the best itx case but a little large.
Nice review. The Lian li lancool II HDD is removable cage. You just need to remove some screws off the cage. I have done a vid on this you might want to check it out.
You can actually remove the HDD bay from the lancool II. Move it to the psu area and rotate it until you can remove the 4 screws under the HDD bay. Then you can pull it out.
For Canadians that are able to get it in time, the Lian Li is a Q2 2021 case. Sucks. All my boxes are ready, waiting for this to arrive. I can't believe I was able to get a 5900x (twice) and a 3080 (twice) before I can get the Lian Li Mini.
Hello, i kinda a newb here and need a suggestion, is it better to pick lian li lancool 2 mesh or the corsair 4000D airflow. Anyway, your explanation in every video is very straightforward and detailed. All thumbs up, man!
"Was this the case that was 'born to push limit'?" LOL I have to show this video to the misses now, she was joking about that when I was unboxing mine ;-) Great roundup, cheers!
I have lian Li mesh and was able to take out drive cage in my first try. It wasn’t easy but if you take off the screws off the bottom sliding hinges the plate will separate and it can be angled out
That was terrific. I really enjoyed the story frame. I could see you using your evil twin in most of your videos, it's nothing anyone else does. And, last but not least, using the EvilTwin is very informative. Very creative.
Fractal and Phanteks have been winning case of the year for some time and this time, it's nice to see Cooler Master taking the seat while Fractal is sitting on the WORST. That is saying alot.
Thank you this video was so helpful. That NZXT site at the start came in handy because I've been looking for a site like that. Also, you helped me find a PC case I actually like. None of the ones I've looked at really caught my eye until I saw that Corsair 4000D case. Exactly what I've been looking for, will definitely be picking up the one with the RGB's.
I have the Corsair 4000D Airflow in white and it’s an awesome case ! It’s just that there is not that much room if you keep that HDD cage, but it’s ok if you don’t use a 360mm rad
Great video was great to see the Liam Li Mini next to a mid tower as gives a much better understanding of the size of my next case (when available in UK)
I have to note: I've seen 3 reviewers test different 500DX fan configs, and only 1 out of 3 (this guy) found that moving the top fan to the front was an improvement. So I'd take his advice with a grain of salt: the engineers put it up there by default for a reason, after all.
Dude, can you shut up? I have seen this type of comment so many times, it is unoriginal, and not even funny. Stop lying to yourself. If you cannot afford it, stop talking about it.

Oh, and you can remove the hdd bay, I've seen it on another guide video. Just rotate it and remove it through the front side.
Yep, removed mine which made cable management underneath easier
loving the direction of airflow cases go
Hardware Canucks' annual top case review is my TH-cam rewind
On the Lian Li Lancool Mesh. The triple hard drive cage is removable, it slides out through the psu bay after removing the retention screw.
Cases, the one PC part we could actually buy in 2020.
The NR200/NR200P also has some nice customization support through some accessories you can have 3D printed like ATX power supply mounts, different feet, and a complete 3D model of the top panel so you can make up your own. All files given out freely to anyone who wants to print them by Cooler Master themselves.
This is the content I've been looking for. Video was soo good I think I want all cases
Happy to hear 🤟
-D.
I'm so happy that you mentioned the corsair 4000D airflow I wanted to get it for my new pc and this video helped a lot
Got lianli mesh. It took a good 5 mins to break out hhd brackets without damaging the case. Its so cool. Literally.
Thank you so much for making this video. I thought I could never find any aesthetic cases that also provided quality airflow.
Because of your review of the Corsair 4000D i bought one and it's fantastic. Thanks my fellow Canucks ;)
Nice! Using the black version for my main right now 🤟
-D.
Missed the fractal Meshify 2?
Yeah, they probably missed that one! The Meshify 2 XL is the best case i ever had!
He mentioned in a comment he likes that case but it's also been mostly the same Define cases we've seen for years now
Just putting it out there...Are you two ever going to do a video together? Maybe a discussion table video on tech? LOVE THE CHANNEL!!
I was watching the video and thinking to myself, is he really not talking about the NR200... glad that make in your top 5.
Yup, the case of the year is a no brainer.
Factual Design Meshify 2 is the case of the year!!
I bought the be quiet! Pure Base 550DX white version, it's a great case for the price.
Can't wait for 2021 case awards.
"Was this the case that was 'born to push limit'?"
LOL I have to show this video to the misses now, she was joking about that when I was unboxing mine ;-)
Great roundup, cheers!
Careful comrade Dimitri (sorry I had to) , you're entering Steve teritory here.
Born to push just one limit! Awesome. LOL
I'll be super excited for 2021 if what we have in store is stock.
Fractal Design Meshify 2 deserves an honorable mention I think.
Fractal and Phanteks have been winning case of the year for some time and this time, it's nice to see Cooler Master taking the seat while Fractal is sitting on the WORST. That is saying alot.
You can remove the hard drive cage for the Lian Li Lancool 2 mesh. You have to flip the case over though
Love your end of year case round-ups 👍
Never thought I would see the day where fractal design was an insult
I don't understand why it is an insult, can somebody explain?
I have the Corsair 4000D Airflow in white and it’s an awesome case ! It’s just that there is not that much room if you keep that HDD cage, but it’s ok if you don’t use a 360mm rad
When is
Hardware Canucks have your own design case?
I want a mesh tempered glass case...though do not want to take a mortgage out for it 🤣
Cracking video as always lads, merry Xmas to you all & yours
The Fractal Meshify C is a good case with mesh and tempered glass. I got mine for around $70 on sale.
Informational and hilarious at the same time. Well done.
Great video was great to see the Liam Li Mini next to a mid tower as gives a much better understanding of the size of my next case (when available in UK)
great choice for the NR 200. I love that case.
I have to note: I've seen 3 reviewers test different 500DX fan configs, and only 1 out of 3 (this guy) found that moving the top fan to the front was an improvement. So I'd take his advice with a grain of salt: the engineers put it up there by default for a reason, after all.
Corsair 4000D Airflow comes with ventilated metal panel tho, tempered glass version is called 4000X.
Other than that, good job on the round-up!
P300A gang. Can't beat $40 high air flow case
Wow these cases were wonderful
My Wallet: You're still broke you know?
These cases are affordable!
Dude, can you shut up? I have seen this type of comment so many times, it is unoriginal, and not even funny. Stop lying to yourself. If you cannot afford it, stop talking about it.
@@pretzel3779 same, these "poor" comments are not funny anymore. $100 case is not dirt cheap, but it's definitely not expensive.
