I just built a PC for a friend of mine in this case. With the included fans and the control hub set up how it is, I actually felt the need to double check my work - I kept feeling like I was forgetting to install something! lol

I recently upgraded my case to the black version of this case because I bought a 280mm AIO and it wouldn't fit very well in my previous case, the only option was front mount and lower than the CPU pump block for the rad. Big step up from the Coolermaster MB520.
Everything fit really easily, cable management was really good, there is plenty of room on the back side for thick or layers of cables.
As others have pointed out, you need an optional extra cage for 3.5" drives, but you can fit up to 2 on that removable panel where the RGB/PWM hub is, they include the rubber mounts and screws for it.
You can also move that bracket down to a lower position, or have an additional one also.
With the 2.5" SSD mount bracket you looked at, the SSDs actually go on the "glass-side" and cables feed through that plastic bit, so you can actually display your SSDs through the window without having to see the cabling. It looks pretty good actually, especially if you can colour code your SATA SSD with the rest of your build.

I've built in both a Be Quiet and Montech case. They both get the job done if on a budget, but there were definitely differences in quality. I'll give Montech points for some nice creature comforts (like the top USB and aux covers), but it has thinner metal that sacrifices some structural soundness.
I was actually worried mine was warped to the point of needing to send it back because only 3 of the feet would touch when it was fully torn down to start the build. It was fine once it was built and put back together, but that tells me the various panels were pulling things back into alignment. Don't really want to deal with a wobbly case during the build.

I bought this case after watching your review. It is a great case. It was the first build I have done with lots of ARGB and I had to make a change in the BIOS to set the system fan I used for the hub to PWM. It was a bit silly not to include a couple of HDD mounts which would give a total of 3 HDD. Mind you I only had one for my Backups so that was OK...probably ok for 90% of people and hence their decision. Great case...so easy to work on and the lighting is fantastic.

Finally a case from a Company that you can use right out of the box with quality fans with front filters under the fine mesh for better dust control or take them off for more air included. This case like all others design the top for dust control and the top should more open as it is almost always exhaust and I would just leave the fine mesh cover off or make the holes larger and cut out the under mesh. For me this is not quit my case for desk top as it is a little larger then needed and as desk top I like the I/O on the bottom to use like the NZXT H6 Flow is.

I am currently saving up for this case! Even though it costs $200, I don't mind investing in it because of the level of thought and care put into its design. What sold me on this particular case is the cable management system and splitter. The sound-dampening feature is also pretty cool, even though it might seem gimmicky. The best thing about investing in a good case is that it can last indefinitely, or at least until you decide to change it for a new aesthetic.

I just finished my first build in this case. The fans are fantastic! Being installed and wired saved time and confusion. In normal operation I can't hear them at all. I had to keep checking that they were spinning at all. I ran Cinebench to spin them up to 100% and everything kept cool inside. No water cooler, just a bequiet Shadow Rock 3 CPU cooler (in white) is enough. Airflow perfection. No third party bloatware needed.
Yes the manual sucks, I think they outsourced that because no German engineer would come up with anything less than a telephone book sized manual. That's why you didn't see how the drives would be mounted at the very bottom. That bracket is a throwaway that should have been included in the optional plastic slide in bracket.

I really like the way be quiet! does the accent lighting on their cases, when they have it. It's on the case itself and enhances the lines of the case. It doesn't look like an afterthought that's just slapped between the seam of 2 panels, whether it be a glass, metal, plastic, or a combination of materials. The ROG and Razer versions of the original O11 Dynamic XL come to mind, where they ran a vertical RGB strip between the glass and metal on the front side of the case.

And gpu (7800XT)with bottom fan usually maxes out in 3D mark at around 55-65c with a manually tuned OC applied. Great to see this video and would love to see a build in this thing!!!

Got a black Bequiet Base 600. Very good case, good quality, no bullshit, no overpriced RGB in mine which I like and a decent price, good cooling options and everything fits. The other model did not have that magnetic mesh but a plate with 3 gap settings which is a bit a better for my use as well. I would never go for a white case though. This will be very discolored in a few years. I do like that they did so much work already for RGB lovers. The fans they supply are good quality as well. The one's coming with this years old case now are still at the top of their game. The black case still looks as new
You need to slip the drive in another bracket which attaches to that bracket 90 degrees

It looks like the hard drive cages are missing which mount to the drive and have thumb screws to attach to the drive bracket you were wondering about. There is a similar setup in the current case I am using (Pure Base 600).

Having the black model, I can confirm that it was the second easiest case to build in. Even Easier than the Corsair 7000d airflow that it replaced.
Also I appreciated the RGB controller, can cycle through the colour options, or with a long press let the motherboard control the RGB. And even (my favourite) turn them off. The fans are really quiet and effective. Normally I replace supplied fans, but this time around there was no need.

In my own build i got a dark power 13 and 7 light wings. absolutely gorgeous products and so quiet :)
The shadow base 800 white is such a nice case aswell.

I also got the H6 Flow in black in December (coming from a Pure Base 500) ... love it! My son has the 800 FX, but the Hardware looks a bit lost in such a big case, when you don't have a lot of AIO/Watercooling stuff and a huge GPU in there.

A friend of mine have a PC with that case, the black version and it looks amazing. I was with him when he was building it and it was pretty easy, as Jay said. I actually wanted to use the same case for my build, but in some EU countries this case costs more than the MSRP. So I chose the Cooler Master Box TD 500 Mesh v.2 White (Master Master Box Master Cooler). That case (TD 500) have a removable top panel and it was very easy for me to put the AIO because I was alone and it was my first build. Thank you Jay, for inspiring me to build my own custom PC. Excuse me for my bad English. :)

I really like my bequiet 500fx case. I actually like the back side of the bequiet rgb fans better than the front. It's just a thin line of rgb instead of a thick band.
I did have to rotate my rear exhaust fan because the RGB affects were off on that fan.

I worked in a building that was in a very dry area. So I was constantly getting zapped by door handles.

I'd just give it a good quick tap and be done with it, instead of gingerly touching it. I've worked with static generators in the lab and deal with static build-up on certain equipment...best to just get it over with quick, or use a grounded shorting probe if one has to.

The HDD Cases needed to be bought separately. 4 3.5" HDD can be mounted but you need buy 4 cases for it (around 7 Bucks each) those cases slots in the Holding bracket, which can be mounted in the lower compartment and two can be mounted at the HDD wall. Thats one of the big strenght of the Be Quiet Cases. I got the First Be Quiet Case a Silent Base 800. And the Parts of the Silent Base 802 are still fitting to my Case. So i got literally now 10 years Parts support for my Case.

I really want you to talk about, or do a pseudo watercooling setup. While you can imagine and see what to do in a case, once you start building in a case, you start realizing what is missing. Even doing a random assortement of putting a pump/rads/components will help a ton with how good a case can be in the worst case (custom water cooling).
My case was one of the best cases for watercooling, and the thing that wasn't seen was how little cable space between the powersupply and pump location.

I've been considering getting either the black be quiet! Pure Base 600 ATX Midi Tower Case ($110.38 o Amazon), which comes with two pre-installed Power Wings fans or the Antec Performance Series P7 Neo Mid-Tower E-ATX Silent Case ($74.99 on Amazon) with 5.25 ODD bay, 3x 120mm fans, and sound-dampening side panels. I'm no fan of RGB lights, so that doesn't interest me, though there seems to be more plastic parts inside this case than I'd like.

My favorite case so far is still Corsair 4000D Airflow. I haven't found one that comes close to that yet in term of the design, simplicity, cost, and just the airflow. I don't have to think about the fan design because it's just 3 in the front and 2, top and 1 on the back and that's it. I don't like those cases where they mount 9+ fans with sides and bottom and it's just killing simplicity of it. And the airflow is great because they basically have airflow from top to bottom and front and back. It's just triangles see through holes everywhere, and it's great. The PSU shroud is also not blocked either. I don't get cases where they have a sealed off PSU shroud. The only downside I would say is they only come with 2 pre-installed fans, so you just have to spend some extra money on some fans and swap it out and it's great. I just use those Thermalright TL-C12CW-S X3 CPU Fan 120mm White ARGB and it's great. You buy (2) sets of those and it's only like $30. It's fantastic.

My first foray into computational fluid dynamics was to actually run the analysis/simulation on computer cases.
This was back in around the 2004-2005-ish timeframe.
It's obviously more work to be able to model the computer case, just so that you can put it through CFD, but it is cool (to me, at least) nevertheless.

The hard drive mount is probably the same as the dark base 900 pro, they use a sled style mount that the hdd slots into and then is attached to the bracket.
It comes included in the 900 pro but seems silly it is not included in this.
