Great video. Battery drills and impact's make sparks. I would advise to use hand tools around gas. Even air tools can make a spark or heat every now and then. Safety first. lol. Now back to work. Thanks.

Absolutely true. Also try to do this when the weather is cooler or at night to reduce some of the vapor

Good install video. I have to redo this installation because my car is being held hostage by the state due to the fuel pump recall. Even though I wasn't even running the stock fuel pump.

Was the pump only loud during priming or can you notice while the car is heated up at normal idle as well? Or while normal driving?
Do you need a tune for this fuel pump? Also how is it with pump gas?
Did the stock plug fit into the pump or did it come with a kit. Cause I got the pump but no wiring harness

How similar is this process for the 2018? Just got my DW400 & Hardwire Kit in the mail but really only seen videos on older models. Im comfortable doing it i just wana make sure i dont miss anything. Great Video man. If you see this I'd love to pick your brain.

I chose dw as it's the one that has the best reviews and it fit perfectly

and the aem if im not mistaken you have to splice the wires and solder the new adapter onto the oem fuel pump wires to connect the new fuel pump which can be a little intimidating for some
Do you need a tune after changing the fuel pump?
No. But if you want more gains from it yes. Same thing with intercooler.

FA20 motors don't have head gasket issues brah
