When I did mine, I totally forgot I had a full tank. Fuel spilled under the car and down the driveway. Luckily I had a bag of sand laying around in the garage to soak it up. Also, another way to make sure the pump is fully primed is to listen in the engine bay for humming after cycling. If there's no noise, no engine leaks, fuse installed, and no start/bad readings, chances are the one of the o-rings got displaced and the pump is sucking air.

Good tip on fuel levels 👍. I will remember that when I go to install the Verus Engineering Fuel Starvation Door on my WRX. Thought you might have considered that part as well when you were swapping the fuel pump out. The fuel door (flap) part is in line with your philosophy of maximizing reliability. Can’t fault you though it’s pricey $$ for such a tiny plastic part.
I wish I had watched this video this weekend before I installed. My tuner told me today I needed to use 2 o rings instead of 1. Why did you opt for only 1?
I just did my AEM fuel pump upgrade on my 2020 WRX and my fuel basket was different. Was actually similar to my 2015 FRS one and has a joined clip under the pump that has to be separate like in the FRS duel pump upgrade
Hey at the end when your looking at your access port why did it say 2.4 on inj duty cycle? Mine reads the same and i cannot figure out why??? any help would be great!

Did you have to have a base tune ready for your egr and tgv deletes and flex fuel sensor and fuel pump and boost controller. I did all mine at one shot and my car idled for 10-12 seconds and shut off. Can’t get it to start now i don’t have base tune yet
I installed mine today.... and car didn’t turn on! Fuel wasn’t pumping to the engine at all! Swapped in back to stock turns right back on! Any ideas? 🙁

My 2019 STI starts and reads 33.3 on fuel duty but shows 0.00 on the fuel press. Final, what do I do? I'm also on a pro tune.

Assuming all of the connections are good, make sure to prime the system by cycling the key a few times. Also, try using 2 rubber o-rings on the pump.

Are the connectors just plug and play? Or do you have to re wire stuff?
No extra wiring needed. It comes with a harness. Plug ad play.
