I cut the OEM spacer like the directions said to do. Both ways work good. Did you make sure that you pulled out the old rubber o ring that was on the OEM fuel pump? did not see the step done. My tuner said it is the most forgot step. IF you have 3 rubber o ring in their it is not good.

OK cool. I just wanted to make sure are safe! Everyone that has had problems with the fuel pump had forgotten to take that one out. It restricts the flow of gas. Nice work guys.
I'm confused about this o ring you guys are talking about, I'm using the AEM 340 and was told to use the stock white spacer with 2 o rings
@@grassbag1 There is an OEM oring that tends to stay in the white housing when removing the pump. This needs to be removed before installing the new pump with 2 of its provided orings

you could have just sliced the spacer vertically instead of sanding all that down, right?

+LastHumansGarage we got the desired result, we were burnt out from installing parts almost every weekend before the Protune.
That was an alternative method that I heard of.
we cut the spacer but it wouldn't fit back in the housing properly when we tried to squeeze it back in. So we just ended up dremeling the ridges and it fit nicely after that. been running DW300c for 5k miles and so far so good.
such a great series, can't wait for the protune day to come.

What's in that access area of the other side of the car? The access area opposite of the fuel pump access area
Similar process for AEM fuel pump?? I got a 2017 wrx. Seems like all 15+wrx going e85 are getting your exact fuel pump.
Hi did you guys lower the fuel pump pressure before starting? What Last Humans Garage did, with the fuse.
If I am still on a stock map and I replace the stock fuel pump with the dc300 fuel pump, will I need a tune?

No, no tune needed. Will not throw a CEL, no limp mode.
Do I have to replace the fuel pump if I do Stage 2 plus on 2016 Wrx?

No but we had maps from the tuner not sure if this pump will set off a check engine.
