I’m planning to get a 2022 WRX non STI. All this is a bit confusing to me. Can I message you directly to figure some things out so I can better understand where I want to go with what I’m looking to do?
The biggest risk going above E60 is the HPFP. It uses the petroleum in the fuel to self lubricate. Not enough fuel = a locked up HPFP If you want to go higher ethanol content you need a Nostrum HPFP.
@@WRXGarage cool thanks theres so many gauges on the acessport lol was thinking you had a different one that didnt bounce around so much. thanks for the video and feedback.
Absolutely! I track Ethanol Raw, af sense 1, DAM, feedback knock, and feedback knock learn. Those are pretty much the core 6 (you can replace ethanol with battery voltage, intake temp, or fuel learning if you don't run it)
Hey wrxgarage, I have a question that I am having a hard time getting reliable information on for my 2021 sti. I want to run a 18x9.5 +35 wheel (enkei ts10) with a 255/40r18 tire (ps4's) on STOCK suspension. Will this rub underload? Will rolling my fenders be required to preemptively prevent this?
@@WRXGarage aren't one of you guys running the ts10's with the same brembos as the sti? If so, do you think the +45 offset would have fit over the calipers?
love your vids, and id like to see more. but my jaw dropped at 10:35 when you used the impact drill on the fuel tank. if you didnt know, run that drill in a dark room and you will see what i mean.
@@WRXGarage i did see the extinguisher. Lol. I also had a question on ur tune. When u add a flex fuel kit, is the tune specific to a certain ethanol percentage say e30, or can u run a tune that covers from 93 oct to about e60.
Wow... that didn't take long (you wanting more power)! 😁 I'd have to say I know how you feel though. I got my car Brentuned last April as well (338hp/336tq) and the car is fast and a different animal than it was stock, but definitely not as fast as I had hoped it'd be. I was used to driving a 300whp FWD car for quite some time that still sits in my driveway (Mazdaspeed3) and aside from having a shit-ton more traction in 1st and 2nd gears in the WRX, my MS3 actually feels just as fast from a roll, if not faster in 4-6th gears (with 228k miles on it... lol). I'd go Flexfuel, but E85 is just not widely enough available in Jersey to make it worth it to me.
@@malvodasnipa same but looking at this site -> afdc.energy.gov/fuels/ethanol_locations.html#/find/nearest?fuel=E85&location=01532 we have some but it seems they are at MassPike.
I subbed & watch for the WRX content. Even if the WRX vids come infrequently I'll always watch the WRX vids. I don't own a truck and don't plan on getting or working on one so the F150 stuff is a hard pass.

Yeaaa finally!!
what monitor are you using for the afr it's not moving at all is that the af sensor 1 ratio? or a different one?
Af sense ratio 1! It may just be a weird thing with my camera's shutter speed. The numbers update constantly on the AP in real time.

Link to fuel pump? I see a couple and they both have controllers that weren't talked about.

You will not regret running Ethanol! 💯

Nope won't rub. No need to roll fenders either!

Yes I am! The stock WRX wheels (18x8.5 +55) will clear the 4pot brembos. The ts10s (18x9.5 +45) should clear just fine
@@WRXGarage thank you so much man!
Which fog light housing are you using? With the LED turn and drl right? Looking to replace my stock base model which doesn't come with fogs. Thanks
Oem fog light bezel! Diode dynamics ss3 pod fog lights. Stock turn signal with led bulb.

Hey, good thing we had the fire extinguisher ready! keep in mind that the impact driver was only used when the tank was pretty much already sealed!

A flex fuel kit allows you to run any blend of 91-e60! The tune will adapt to whatever ethanol percentage you use.

Where you getting gas from? 2nd.
For this tune, going to be filling up 3 VP jugs in MA! Will be near a reliable e85 source soon.. stay tuned for the news!
I'm in Western Ma. I want to go e85 but I'm having trouble finding has stations in my area.
