Premise: The Horror Hound festival is being held for the first time in Louisiana. Among the attendees are Chase and his girlfriend Laine, who begins to experience unexplained premonitions and disturbing visions associated with the town's past and the Creeper.

Gawd! Hahaha - "After the *opening gimmick* - you can turn this s**t off!" Crunching comment, for a horror genre lol! Also, seriously, Joseph's views about the *respecting* part, and not just "capitalizing on an opportunity" - loved the 'ticking off' :) Enjoyed the review!

Leave it to Nick to bring up a super unknown obscure film like Stuart Gordon's Robot Jox! Thanks gor reminding me about that! Redletter has an episode featuring that movie. Maybe one day you guys will watch it ahaha. One can only hope!
We all know what Salva did which was horrendous but I didn't know that until after the 1st one which I did enjoy. That opening chase scene with the gaining truck was quite suspenseful and fresh at the time. I also liked Powder as a kid which is probably beyond creepy now but had a great ending. They need to stop this franchise immediately. It's been dead for years. I still think Joyride was the better film at the time and it's still fun on a rewatch... now that could be a cool Halloween 'secret film'

Look, Nick's eyebrow is my measuring tool for all reviews. PERIOD. I knew this was going to be awful but I live in hope, a useless, endless unyielding pathetic fading hope that they capture a 10th of the first installment's magic...now a movie quote about hope has been sparked in my head, is it Meryl? Jessica Lange? I think it's a Lange one 🤣.. Thank you for taking this bullet for us, we knew it was painful, so very painful 😔

I read that production was affected by covid. They had to shoot it in 2 parts, first in the States and rest in England. It seems like the third act had to be changed. Which could explain the lack of the cult members in the final act. As they hinted throughout the film that they were a big part of the final act. But still the acting and writing was horrible to begin with. So no helping this train wreck if film, reminded me of the Jurassic World Dominion. It's just a mess, making no sense

The visuals and colors of the sky and stuff was the only thing good thing about the movie. I can't believe they did creeper like that. It was a man with a 6 pack and tattoos with cornrows and a sharp gold grill with his trench coat blowing in the breeze when he walked. The story was trash and the boyfriend irritated me with how he was hitting on the Asian girl and leaving his girl behind while he would run ahead of her all the time in the house. I would never watch this trash. Ever again. And the song 😂 I was dying.

They turned it into a slasher film. The Creeper smells what he wants from his victims and takes it. He isn't a slasher.
I had hopes that after 3 they were going to get back on track. Didn't happen. They ruined it in every way.

I’m glad you disliked the film. The person who created the character tainted the entire series. Not going to go into it…but it’s horrible. I think I have watched one of these films…maybe the second one…I just can’t get past the creator of the series. I guess I should view things on artistic merit… but this guy was way to horrid.

I liked "Reborn" as well as the way it looked, green screen & all. As for the song "Hungry Eyes" ( which I also liked ), Victor Salva said the reason the "Jeepers Creepers" song didn't appear in part 2 & 3 was because the rights to use it went through the roof after the release of the first movie. Timo ( who's also a singer ) more than likely felt it was better to make a new song with a similar sound than to pay the exuberant fee for the original, especially considering the extremely low budget.

The director wanted to make it clear that Victor Salva was not involved in the making of this film and would not be benefitting from it.
He did that by announcing it on Twitter and also by making a movie so bad that it was obvious that someone with talent like Salva could not have been involved in making this trash.
The director of this movie can moral grandstand all he wants but it won't make up for his lack of talent. And if he's so disgusted by victor then he should write his own stuff instead of trying to capitalize on a franchise he had nothing to do with building.

WTF 😒 is Jeepers Creeper's Reborn even Supposed to be I just recently viewed this new installment of the Franchise series and to me this new film is like a fucked up clown 🤡 show at a circus 🎪. I don't get it the whole storyline is completely off script not to mention the film director didn't even cast Jonathan Break the original creeper in the Franchise films. I have to say Jeepers Creeper's Reborn is by far the Worst Installment in the whole Franchise series and I thought Jeepers Creeper's 3 was crappy. I just don't understand why each new Jeepers Creeper's movie is only getting worse with each new installment.
