I understand you're statement but I'ma be real and honest about my statements, I'm able to seperate the art from the man, he's disgusting but alot of people from the past worked with Victor again on 3 even Trisha like...at some point this narrative can't be the reason why nobody else should pick this movie up and make it a real movie, I don't condone what he did, I'm just trying to stay focused on the art and not so much of a touchy subject that has been covered well enough
Fans of the first two films kept pointing out that the approach for this film was skewed and that it was doomed to failure. They were called "haters". Guess we know now who was right. This is what happens with everything Hollywood touches nowadays. They have to "reinvent", "reimagine", "reboot", and "rewrite". Nothing is sacred and no canon is preserved. Look what they've done to Star Trek. Unless something changes, you can safely assume everything they do is going to be crap.
Salva ruined it. Timo just didn't make it any better in a situation you shouldn't make another, unless you have something worthy of existing within the franchise. Especially with a Reboot. Lots of story they could have easily filled us in on. And there are pictures of Dee Wallace in the Cult. So they must have cut a lot of the Cult out of this, just due to how they made no sense, and didn't both to take a minute to explain everything. And it seems like they didn't even bother trying to cover up the Stunt Creeper in the movie. The two have similar looks, but obvious differences to their facial look. Which you can notice they fully left closeups of the stunt guy in makeup in this.
The perfect creeper story exists already with the comic and they could learn a lot from interpreting the comic book. A story from two feeding cycles ago before kenny and darla would be great. Make it like It (2017) where there’s missing posters everywhere, a curfew in local towns, and people on a summer road trip are doing a thesis paper on local Native American legend utekna (the creeper) and go from there. It’s so simple man.

It is not easy to make remakes or continuations of established franchise without having connections to the Creator or the creative team behind the project. Victor Salva knew his creation probably because he was his creation, he had a plan and not many people can copy it, I wished he could have had the movies and disappear after the franchise was complete

Starting off at the barn scene would be a great introduction tf? No the story was trash, if you ever seen Halloween kills there's a scene where Billy who's all grown now talks about his encounter with Michael and how he was the last survivor, if the creeper started off like where the black kid who survived went up and spoke, like c'mon now 3 coaches missing, 5 kids dead how is this not the biggest local story in the town already oh wait that's movie discredits it's prior

This is the worst horror movie I have ever seen and it’s not even close. Such a shame because you have an iconic character in the Creeper and Timo took the franchise to another level of abysmal. I am not exaggerating at all either. The two most underutilized horror franchises are the Creeper and Bagul from Sinister. It’s so disappointing and don’t give me any BS about Covid!! I have seen films and tv series 100 times better than this with a 1/20th of the budget that reborn had!
This movie was dogshit. But, to be fair, Victor Salva ruined the franchise with his crimes hovering over the legacy of even the first film. Reborn is like trying to polish a turd.
And I don't think it was only the money it's the person dude is ass gas & trash 😂 I would've gave the 75% or 80% off all earnings to Warner Brothers or Universal Studios to make me a kick ass movie because guess what that 20% or 25% will grow if the fans like the movie then you can keep making more movies and cutting a better deal with the major film company &&& You would actually gather a fan following which in itself will produce money for you outside of the movie😂 People are really slow bro😊
