The trailers made him out to be such a terrifying threat, but in the end he was just an aggravated robot with a grudge that spent most of his time hiding. Yeah as much as I liked the movie itself I have to agree with him hiding a bit much and would have been nice if ultron at least a bit closer to his comic counter parts in power and made a little more serious/scary

Yeah Ultron was one of my favorite my villains as the kid because the cartoons made him look strong af. And i remember reading a comic where Ultron is casually shrugging off the combined attacks of like 50 characters including the Silver Surfer and Kang. I was disappointing he was so weak in the movie.

Ok it's been over a year and nearly half the comments here telling me Captain America's shield is made out of Vibranium not Adamantium....as someone who has read the comics I can confirm it's adamantium reinforced with vibranium. In the MCU it's purely Vibranium because they don't have the rights to Adamantium which is owned by Fox....But this isn't the MCU version of Cap's shield brought up it is the canon comics version which is made out of adamantium. Again no real context is given here. I'm assuming you're asking about the link in the front page where the armor reaches him before the explosion does but i'm not sure the distance the explosion was from him. So i'll go with the feat in the next page which is him outracing the explosion. He flew a distance that was x17.3 the length of his body (Tony in his Armor is 1.9812 Meters tall) so he flew 34.29 meters while the explosion only reached up to 25.7556 meters. So he was flying atleast 33% faster than the explosion. Different Explosions have different speeds. DO you happen to know what triggered it or what the explosion was? If a Gas explosion his speed is Mach 7.04 - Mach 11.73 If a solid explosion his speed is Mach 15.65 - Mach 40.29 4. The gun fires 1,000,000 rounds per minute. Therefore also fires around 16,666 rounds per second. However from what I'm seeing it has multiple muzzles on both its arms (roughly 14 on the front layer and roughly 14 on the second layer making a total of 56 muzzles total) which means each muzzle fires 297 rounds per second. Calculating the distance of the bullets from their lengths. The bullets are moving at a speed of atleast 21,279 m/s (Mach 62.5) The distance is roughly about 6 meters and the timeframe would be 0.00028 seconds before it reaches him. Iron Man reacts and reaches out when their only about roughly 2 meters from hitting him. Making his arm speed bare minimum movement speed at 10,639.5 m/s (Mach 31.26) Travel Speed: I'll go by your timeframe (15 seconds). As you know Latveria is a fictional country. In Marvel it's sandwiched between Hungary and Romania. So I used the distance from New York to Debrecen (which is on the outskirts of Hungary just outside of Romania) which is 4,460 miles (7,177.674 km) from New York. Iron Man would have have to have flown at a speed of 478.5116 Km/s (Mach 1,406.18)

I think it's said that Cap's shield is actually Proto-Adamantium and Vibranium. But the two metals were bonded in such a way while the crafter was away that no one knows how to reverse engineer it unless they get the shield and can analyze it themselves.
Maybe I can't say Ultron can singlehandedly beat the Justice League, because that will piss off the DC fans, but I can say he'll give them a run for their money. Dude, you can't apply realistic mathematics to comic books because the writers don't think about the mathematics or physics when they're writing, they just think about what sounds/looks cool.
I've been looking into the energy values thrown around in comics for a while now and what I can say is... It doesn't matter. Sure, I can calculate how much energy is needed to punch through a mountain, and Iron Man may be depicted as doing that in the comic, but the author 100% did not think the issue through in a real-world physics context. In comics, characters are simply capable of doing whatever the plot requires them to do. It's never even consistent, in one issue you can have Hulk punching through the Earth, and in another you can see him go toe to toe with Wolverine, who can't even lift a car usually. It's all just convenience according to plot needs. The real calculated numbers mean nothing and aren't important in the world of the comic book.

wonder woman and flash aren't matches for ultron in my opinion. Superman MIGHT be able to defeat ultron in a random counter, but just give one day of prep to ultron and he would destroy superman.

I think you're underselling his speed, actually. By quite a bit, too. Hulk, Wonder Man, Thor, the Sentry... all of them are roughly as fast as each other (though I have listed them in ascending order), and Ultron has been keeping up with them since version 6, usually while they have backup, and version 8 even simultaneously pimp slapped Thor and Wonder Man as they charged him (that being the panel where Wonder Man says Ultron hits like Thor, though Ultron has matched his strength with Thor directly as well, so I'm not sure why you were calcing him against Iron Man's strength either). This means we can easily powerscale Ultron to Thor, and Thor is INSANELY FAST, with feats like tagging 2 separate gods of speed (Zefra and Hermes), simultaneously speedblitzing Silver Surfer and Galactus (that was actually the 3rd time he blitzed Galactus), deflecting a mental bolt from the Phoenix with Mjolnir (mental bolts in Marvel being able to cross "a thousand galaxies" in "several moments" (Kree Supreme Intelligence feat)) shot from around a dozen meters away, throwing Mjolnir across the Milky Way in under a minute, speedblitzing Gladiator twice, catching Bor's axe mid-swing (who, being Odin's father, has been growing in power as he's aged, as all Asgardians do, for even longer than Odin. Hory farkin' shet), and dodging and blocking attacks from Surtur. It's been established several times that Thor is as fast as the lightning he commands (in his fights with Warlock and Hela), meaning Thor's combat speed=Thor's attack speed=Thor's travel speed. His feat of throwing Mjolnir across the galaxy in under a minute is probably the easiest to quantify at over 81 billion times the speed of light (he also has a 48 quadrillion c feat, but that's usually treated as an outlier (I personally think he cheated with portals)). That's an upgrade to Ultron's speed compared to your calcs of a factor of almost 2 billion. Also, I think it would have been a good idea to specify that Antarctic vibranium is the anti-adamantium, since the much more common Wakandan vibranium would be useless for the task of defeating adamantium. As far as the 'verse gauntlets go, for Dragon Ball, if we powerscale Ultron's speed against Thor and remember how the Molecular Arranger works, Ultron can go over 81 billion c, and can ignore durability with his attacks while being immune to matter manipulation like Candybeam, compared to SSJGodSSJ Goku's multi-galaxy level attack potency and durability and 2.8 billion c speed, so I'd probably still give the advantage to Ultron, provided it's any version after 12. Whis' time travel ability might make things tricky for Ultron though, depending on how quickly Ultron started eating chi. As for DC, Captain Atom is Molecule Man level these days (what with creating a universe and all), so I'm not sure why you said Ultron would beat him (I mean, Ultron *could*, but only by using Pym particles to go to the Realm of the Abstract Entities and basically becoming an equal to Eternity), but not most of the Justice League, especially since the only JLA member with a combat speed greater than about 9 c is the Flash (travel speed tends to be MUCH higher, granted, but Superman in particular is infamous for having crappy manoeuvrability at high speeds). For Star Wars, it's worth remembering that Ultron punches at least as hard as the Death Star's superlaser, and could probably swallow a superlaser beam whole. Really, I'd peg the setting as about as powerful as the Kree galaxy. For Pokémon, you forgot to mention Arceus.

@Volcanic Harpy Well not really for several reasons 1. You can't power-scale stats from power levels (as confirmed multiple time sin the Namek Saga 2. Those ratings weren't based on who can stand up to his hits only those who could probably beat him in a fight. In hindsight I might have been too generous to the DBZ side 3. Cooler would need the firepower of 11 Quadrillion supernovas to break through Adamantium. Which even if we go by the anime for scaling is still not close enough 4. Ultron isn't reall a good match for meta Cooler given his versatility in Technopathy, High level Telepathy, Physical Assimilation hax and energy absoprtion. Even if Meta-cooler were to destroy Ultron's body he would still only end up getting possessed by him immediately afterwords.
Although I love the Fallout universe, Ultron could hack into Liberty Prime's mainframe. Against other beings like the Institute or Atom (let's just say he's real) The Institute would get crushed and Atom might actually win. Brotherhood of Steel is out because most of their power relies on technology. Ultron could get into their power source or into their suits and kill everything.
If Ultron's first impressions of the human race came from the Internet, I'd probably want to destroy humanity as well.

Impressive stuff. Highly knowledgeable and informative, but also witty to keep it from getting stale. Never thought I'd sit and watch this straight for 34 minutes, but it flied by really fast. Can't imagine how much effort must've been put into each of these, but as I said, impressive stuff.
On a side note, this really shows you what a joke movie-ultron was compared to the real deal. They could've turned him up quite a bit to make him actually menacing, because as of now, there wasn't much of an "age" of him.

1. Was there a specefic size given for that Octobot in the back? If not i'll go by the size perspective it has from Iron Man which puts the length of it roughly at 38.9 Meters
The distance Tony Stark has from the window is approx. 3.7 meters. He traveled that distance and reached the Octobot (which going by perspective alone appeared to be about 77.9 meters from the window and a total of 81.63 meters with the added distance he covered inside the room) before the explosion could reach him. I'll be generous and assume the explosion is moving at a complete bare minimum of 1,800 m/s.
The problem here is seeing how much distance the explosion covered, the angle we see it is from the front so its hard to tell but it doesn't look like it reached any further than 4 meters outside the room which puts the distance of the explosion at about 7.67 meters and a timeframe of 0.004261 seconds
putting that speed at 19.156 Km/s (Mach 56.29)

Iron Man didn't notice the bullet until it was right next to him.
calculating the distance from the height of his mechanical eye-slit, he noticed the bullet when it was 6.75 inches from his helmet.
He then snatched the bullet when it was 5 inches from him.
Let's say he moved his hand about half a meter to catch the bullet. the speed of his arm would have to move x11.248 faster than the bullet.
In the air that would be 28,346.457 m/s for his arm movement (Mach 83)
however I'm assuming its underwater from Stark's comment. Funny thing is that underwater because of the fluid resistance and density bullets don't slow down like Tony is implying (in fact they disintegrate before they even have a chance to slow down which is usually about no further than 12 inches. the faster the bullet, the more force in the water's resistance)
So the speed of the bullet would be the same (it just wouldn't go far at all) making the feat pretty unquantifiable altogether (since the bullet traveled much farther than any bullet should have) though according to Stark the fluid resistance did slow it down so if nothing else you could half the speed for a very rough low end and still come up with his arm speed being Mach 41.5
3. Again no real context is given here. I'm assuming you're asking about the link in the front page where the armor reaches him before the explosion does but i'm not sure the distance the explosion was from him.
So i'll go with the feat in the next page which is him outracing the explosion.
He flew a distance that was x17.3 the length of his body (Tony in his Armor is 1.9812 Meters tall) so he flew 34.29 meters while the explosion only reached up to 25.7556 meters.
So he was flying atleast 33% faster than the explosion. Different Explosions have different speeds. DO you happen to know what triggered it or what the explosion was?
If a Gas explosion his speed is Mach 7.04 - Mach 11.73
If a solid explosion his speed is Mach 15.65 - Mach 40.29
4. The gun fires 1,000,000 rounds per minute. Therefore also fires around 16,666 rounds per second. However from what I'm seeing it has multiple muzzles on both its arms (roughly 14 on the front layer and roughly 14 on the second layer making a total of 56 muzzles total) which means each muzzle fires 297 rounds per second.
Calculating the distance of the bullets from their lengths. The bullets are moving at a speed of atleast 21,279 m/s (Mach 62.5)
The distance is roughly about 6 meters and the timeframe would be 0.00028 seconds before it reaches him. Iron Man reacts and reaches out when their only about roughly 2 meters from hitting him. Making his arm speed bare minimum movement speed at 10,639.5 m/s (Mach 31.26)
Travel Speed:
I'll go by your timeframe (15 seconds). As you know Latveria is a fictional country. In Marvel it's sandwiched between Hungary and Romania. So I used the distance from New York to Debrecen (which is on the outskirts of Hungary just outside of Romania) which is 4,460 miles (7,177.674 km) from New York.
Iron Man would have have to have flown at a speed of 478.5116 Km/s (Mach 1,406.18)

I think it's said that Cap's shield is actually Proto-Adamantium and Vibranium. But the two metals were bonded in such a way while the crafter was away that no one knows how to reverse engineer it unless they get the shield and can analyze it themselves.
Maybe I can't say Ultron can singlehandedly beat the Justice League, because that will piss off the DC fans, but I can say he'll give them a run for their money. I mean Justice League as in Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Flash (Barry Allen). The estimations and studies I seen in this video are INSANE.

I've been looking into the energy values thrown around in comics for a while now and what I can say is... It doesn't matter.
Sure, I can calculate how much energy is needed to punch through a mountain, and Iron Man may be depicted as doing that in the comic, but the author 100% did not think the issue through in a real-world physics context. In comics, characters are simply capable of doing whatever the plot requires them to do.
It's never even consistent, in one issue you can have Hulk punching through the Earth, and in another you can see him go toe to toe with Wolverine, who can't even lift a car usually.
It's all just convenience according to plot needs. The real calculated numbers mean nothing and aren't important in the world of the comic book.

I think you're underselling his speed, actually. By quite a bit, too. Hulk, Wonder Man, Thor, the Sentry... all of them are roughly as fast as each other (though I have listed them in ascending order), and Ultron has been keeping up with them since version 6, usually while they have backup, and version 8 even simultaneously pimp slapped Thor and Wonder Man as they charged him (that being the panel where Wonder Man says Ultron hits like Thor, though Ultron has matched his strength with Thor directly as well, so I'm not sure why you were calcing him against Iron Man's strength either). This means we can easily powerscale Ultron to Thor, and Thor is INSANELY FAST, with feats like tagging 2 separate gods of speed (Zefra and Hermes), simultaneously speedblitzing Silver Surfer and Galactus (that was actually the 3rd time he blitzed Galactus), deflecting a mental bolt from the Phoenix with Mjolnir (mental bolts in Marvel being able to cross "a thousand galaxies" in "several moments" (Kree Supreme Intelligence feat)) shot from around a dozen meters away, throwing Mjolnir across the Milky Way in under a minute, speedblitzing Gladiator twice, catching Bor's axe mid-swing (who, being Odin's father, has been growing in power as he's aged, as all Asgardians do, for even longer than Odin. Hory farkin' shet), and dodging and blocking attacks from Surtur. It's been established several times that Thor is as fast as the lightning he commands (in his fights with Warlock and Hela), meaning Thor's combat speed=Thor's attack speed=Thor's travel speed. His feat of throwing Mjolnir across the galaxy in under a minute is probably the easiest to quantify at over 81 billion times the speed of light (he also has a 48 quadrillion c feat, but that's usually treated as an outlier (I personally think he cheated with portals)). That's an upgrade to Ultron's speed compared to your calcs of a factor of almost 2 billion. Also, I think it would have been a good idea to specify that Antarctic vibranium is the anti-adamantium, since the much more common Wakandan vibranium would be useless for the task of defeating adamantium.
As far as the 'verse gauntlets go, for Dragon Ball, if we powerscale Ultron's speed against Thor and remember how the Molecular Arranger works, Ultron can go over 81 billion c, and can ignore durability with his attacks while being immune to matter manipulation like Candybeam, compared to SSJGodSSJ Goku's multi-galaxy level attack potency and durability and 2.8 billion c speed, so I'd probably still give the advantage to Ultron, provided it's any version after 12. Whis' time travel ability might make things tricky for Ultron though, depending on how quickly Ultron started eating chi. As for DC, Captain Atom is Molecule Man level these days (what with creating a universe and all), so I'm not sure why you said Ultron would beat him (I mean, Ultron *could*, but only by using Pym particles to go to the Realm of the Abstract Entities and basically becoming an equal to Eternity), but not most of the Justice League, especially since the only JLA member with a combat speed greater than about 9 c is the Flash (travel speed tends to be MUCH higher, granted, but Superman in particular is infamous for having crappy manoeuvrability at high speeds). For Star Wars, it's worth remembering that Ultron punches at least as hard as the Death Star's superlaser, and could probably swallow a superlaser beam whole. Really, I'd peg the setting as about as powerful as the Kree galaxy. For Pokémon, you forgot to mention Arceus.

Well not really for several reasons
1. You can't power-scale stats from power levels (as confirmed multiple time sin the Namek Saga
2. Those ratings weren't based on who can stand up to his hits only those who could probably beat him in a fight. In hindsight I might have been too generous to the DBZ side
3. Cooler would need the firepower of 11 Quadrillion supernovas to break through Adamantium. Which even if we go by the anime for scaling is still not close enough
4. Ultron isn't reall a good match for meta Cooler given his versatility in Technopathy, High level Telepathy, Physical Assimilation hax and energy absoprtion. Even if Meta-cooler were to destroy Ultron's body he would still only end up getting possessed by him immediately afterwords.

Although I love the Fallout universe, Ultron could hack into Liberty Prime's mainframe. Against other beings like the Institute or Atom (let's just say he's real) The Institute would get crushed and Atom might actually win. Brotherhood of Steel is out because most of their power relies on technology. Ultron could get into their power source or into their suits and kill everything.
