When the flood waters begin falling, Noah urges people to change thier ways and get on the Ark. Everyone ignores him and continues to laugh at him. Everyone else proceeds to die in the great flood which was said to encompass the entire earth. Only Noah and his family survive, as well as all the animals he brought on board (and all the sea creatures for that matter)
It was honestly incredibly fascinating how philosophical and borderline biblical they made Ultron. It sets him apart from the typical world/city/universe domination driven villains we see 98% of the time. He wasn’t perfect, he suffered from a few too many quips, and I never liked the metallic humanoid lips/eyelids (although I get why they wanted his facial expressions to compliment his personality)… but honestly, I still believe he’s one of the top 5 best MCU villains we’ve ever had!
The main problem with him is that he wasn't threating especially when comapred to his comic book version, not to mention, he's relationship with Tony pales in comparison to Ultron's relationship with Pym in the comics Especially when it's comes to deepness and complexity as well as depth in story telling.
@Jttyler777 Man thats not cool, you atheists always tell us Christians to not force our beliefs on you while you guys do the very same every chance you get.
probably going to be common once they get AI to properly use quotes. It is, after all, the most common book (best selling book of all time. Though Agatha Christie has been giving the apostles a run for their money for 70 years or so in total books sold).
Ultron is the Precursor of Thanos ... The Madman before the Catastrophe, the Preacher before the Divine Judgement. Descendant of Loki , IA of Hydra , Creation of Tony Stark , Father of Vision , Nemesis of the Avengers.
He was brilliant. He manages to sound almost Bored, as if the whole time he has the cliche, 'one hand tied behind his back'. Even while he's dominating.
Agreed. No one appreciates this incarnation of the character enough for his appealing sense of humanity (making him more in touch with the race he's attempting to "improve") and more prominent psychotic nature.
"When the Earth starts to settle, God throws a stone at it. And believe me, he's winding up." What a subtle yet brilliant way to reference Thanos and the stones.
Yes I absolutely adored that line for that exact reason. I would have loved, 'with the benefit of hindsight' to having seem more implication of Ultron being aware of Thanos (given that Loki possessed the mind stone from Thanos himself) so that lines like that more directly foreshadowed Thanos. The idea that, in his own psychopathic, genocidal way, a part of Ultron's design was still gearing him towards protecting his version of a metal earth against the coming threat of Thanos.
1:31 "Did you know this church is in the exact centre of the city? The elders decreed it so that everyone could be equally close to Gods. I like that, the geometry of belief." One of my favourite lines from him.
James Spaders voice is just beautiful. I could listen to him tell stories all day. And that metallic tvang he gets as Ultron makes is both smooth and scary at the same time
James Spader was the perfect voice for Ultron. He brought that “Blacklist” Reddington character into the MCU. Absolutely wonderful. Ultron was both diabolical and poetic.
I honestly really enjoyed Ultron as a villain. The film overall was okay, but his dialogue and mission are pretty interesting, and his character dynamic with/against Tony Stark is awesome
When you finish the Infinity saga and go back to watching Ultron again, you can see how much he and the rest of the events of the movie affected everything.
prolly cuz you like to feel like you have control over that thing you fear most, like “i made you so i dont like you and i control you and can take you away” type mentality
He kinda did and he still cared about them. He probably would have preserved their consciousness or something and make new bodies for them, a place for them in his new world then simply let them die with the old.
They were essentially his family. They all were derived from the Mind Stone. They are connected in a way that is really showcased between Wanda and Vision. They have a deeper connection than say Tony and Peter because without Tony Peter is still Spider-Man. But without Wanda and Pietro Ultron would not have been created. Ultron realizes this and wants to show his family how grateful he is. He could have chosen a better place to make his meteor than their home country but I mean hey he lost his family and his new body. But even in his last few moments he expresses concern that Wanda could die and that's something I don't think he ever actually planned on for her.
"Everyone creates the thing they dread" "Men of peace creates engines of war" "Invaders created avengers" "People creates...smaller people? Children, i lost the word there...children designed to...supplant them, to help them..end them" Whoever created Ultron's scripts must be a villain in their previous lives

The main problem with him is that he wasn't threating especially when comapred to his comic book version, not to mention, he's relationship with Tony pales in comparison to Ultron's relationship with Pym in the comics Especially when it's comes to deepness and complexity as well as depth in story telling.
