I use a Kamvas pro13 (older model) for animating as a hobby, I’ve use it for approx: 3yrs now, I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.
Does it have etched glass or a textured screen protector? There seems to be conflicting information circulating around
@@the11thhour44 The one I’m using has textured screen protector, to me it feels like paper when I draw in it, I hope that helps :)

I started out using a jam studio tablet and I'm totally amazed at how much these devices have progressed.
I've had the pro 24 for a couple months and I LOVE it
Is it the 2.5k reso? Pixelation is not noticeable right compare to 1080p?
I'm in my 3rd year with a Kamvas 16 Pro ... and I continue to be *thrilled* with it every time I use it (ie daily).
I just bought a used one, and I'm so glad I went with kamvas 16 pro. It's great. Exactly what I wanted
Hi Howard, thanks I just came across yr chan after looking for a monitor arm for my new Huion Kamvas Pro 24 4k, and I agree with you about Huions product quality and the Kamvas Pro 24 4k is an awesome, premium build pen display with an IPS screen and the colours are just gorgeous I have to say and the Pen performance matches it as well, thanks again Howard and all the best, cheers Kev

Thank you, as a designer, this is one of the best reviews that is most helpful. personally, i'm leaning more towards the XP-Pen right now. the prices and tech specs doesn't differ too much . one thing that has me considering the xp-pen Artist 13.3 Pro over the huion Kamvas Pro 13 though was that you don't need to plug the cable into a power outlet for it to work, you can just hook it up to your computer and go. contrarily, the huion does need a power outlet for it to power on.

Not sure I understand sending these to artists that already spent a whole year producing full fledged animations, they probably have good or better tablets already, at least, I'd imagine, dunno 🤔 But I'm here to see which one to buy for myself and I like how you compare all these! Very helpful
i personaly can recommend the gaomon M106K... Good affordable blind-tablet with a lot of keys (12) and i have some shortcuts like zoom in/out, move, brush/fill etc... so 12 keys can key handy

Your main drawback is a bit of a moot point when the Wacom tablets don't even come with a stand, that's an additional purchase and like the Wacom there are very good aftermarket options for the Huion such as the Ergotron HX.

Is it weird I prefer drawing on a Regular Ol' graphic tablet? Im not sure why, I think its because I like working with my head at a straight angle, while with a display tablet, my head is kinda at an angle, and after a while the back of my neck feel uncomfy. Maybe Im prone to back/neck problems more than others idk lol
the huion 13 pro has 2.5k
and wasnt it like 8 buttons im new so i dont know what is alot and what is not, still trying to figure out which i should get i do want a screen tablet so which should i get?

Just here to say the Kamvas 22 Plus is the best. Has the best lamination, and colors.

What's your opinion on wacom cintiq 22HD?
I'm using wacom bamboo pen tablet since last 11 years and no problem at all
Recently I used huion H950P for three months only but i was not that confident and facing lag issue and now pen not working properly.
I feel wacom is more reliable, accurate, and has better build quality.
i think you would be very happy with a Cintiq 22HD. it's a SOLID tablet
@@HowardWimshurst I think the kamvas pro 13 should go to 3rd place. It is an older product than the kamvas 13. You can't use usb type c with the pro unlike the kamvas 13.

Does huion tablets come WITH drawing/animation apps orrrrrrrr you have to download one, and which app is the best to use?
It's not bundled with any apps. But to me, it's not a huge problem because Krita and Medibang are free drawing programs that are fantastic and worth checking out. Or you can wait for Clip Studio Paint sales and buy it for 20$.

What type of specs I need for my computer to run 4K 60hz on the tablet.
depends on the software you want to use, but the most important things to look at are the GPU (graphics card), CPU (processor) and RAM

For all you animators who use touch screen tablets such as the Huion 13 tablet do have to have a computer or cam you use just the tablet?
These aren't tablets, these are pen displays. You need to plug them to a computer. They wom't work otherwise

@@HowardWimshurst Tysm! I heard that people have more issues getting their lines right due the hand eye coordination, and I was worried because recently got a pen tablet because its better than a mouse to work in this space
I have kamvas pro 20 and im not enjoying IT. Its too big, my eyes hurt and it have only 1920x1080 so its really little blurry.

I NEED HELP 🆘 I don't know what laptop to get with my Huion 16 pro tablet, it has to be compatible, low price ,medium to small ,college reliable, also 9gb of ram.
I'm a graphic design student and I've using hp envy 14, super helpful and suitable and I also happened to be buying the huion pro 16 lol
The only thing I consider it to be a con is the white color display is not really white, it is kinda yellow-ish somehow.
I got used to it and it didn't really bothered me that much
My issue with Huion is that most of their designs seem to not be "left-handed friendly" :(

@@neroxyx3085 haha, don't worry, I think the kamvas 13 won't be that much of an inconvenience, only the set up to see the screen properly. I had that one in the past, so I'd recommend you to be extra careful with the wires 👀 since they seem to be really fragile, other than that, it was perfect for me :)

@@neroxyx3085 Honestly, I had to return mine because of some issues, and the help service seemed a bit slow for my liking, I thought it was just bad luck 👀 because when the display did work, it was excellent. But (and just in case) if you mean the left handed settings, I think a TH-cam video would help you better, since I'm not that good at explaining myself. If you have other issues, I'd recommend returning it, which may sound a bit drastic, but I didn't have a good experience trying to solve the problems of my device (spent two months just trying to get a solution and once they provided one, I had to pay more, and in the end it didn't work either) :( sorry if none of this is helpful to you

Huion is a very very bad company, don't buy anything from Huion. Your stuff will break just looking at it and you will have to change it in less than 4 years.
@ren Me, Gt-220 v2, work fine mostly the first 2 years, rarely moves it or whatever, suddenly, the pen stop charging by itself, no replacement possible for the gt-220... after that, every new driver post 2015 simply never worked with windows (no matter how many pcs have been using and try to make the newest driver work, so i had to keep the 2015 version and work fine for about 1h and half, pen pressure get weird and none existente at some point, so i replad the driver (always tryout the newest ones but the 2015 is the only one working more closely, a year later, i had to reinstall it every day, one day, 1/4 of teh screen got darker (lamp burnout i guess...) after only 3 years or so...no charging pen, reinstalling driver for pen pressure and screen stop working proprely... since last month, even reloading driver wont help, doing weird marks and twist... so i got a 16hd wacom cintiq...its simply work better than my Huion ever work on its best day... 1000$, simply work... other one 800$ cad and never got to enjoy it even got me depressed. Huion build there stuff to break.
@@fo1711 It begs the question if it is true for the whole. Huion is indeed growing due to their successes, but it is likely not because of the company being infamous.
Huion may have issues in there past brand, but I would still recommend Huon's newer tablets.

@@fo1711 Great marketing but with bad reputation over bad product will not be able to prosper for long. Huion is still a legitimate competitor.
