can confirm that you dont need big hefty equipment to live out your dream. im in the very early stages of a short animation and all i have is a small laptop and a huion 580 (which has been off the market for years). all you need is determination and imagination

I use a dirt cheap North Bayou arm that i picked up for around $25 for my XP-Pen 22E pro. I’ve been loving it. It does take two hands to move around but it is quite firm to draw on. It wont budge unless its your intention. So nice being able to move it off to my right as an extra display when I’m gaming or doing research and pull down in front of me when im working on a project.

What you said about working really hard to save some budget to be able to buy something and once you have bought it in the end, you'll use it to earn back mostly the value of what you've spent for that object, never thought of something like that. I guess you've given me a wider perspective or better ideology of what will the better uses of the things we have saved for. I guess I haven't really maximize the value of those things. I am a 14 year old and I love animation. I does small small animations on my mobile. I only have a cheap stylus and I use it to make most of the animations. Thank you for this video. I will try to save some money in a year and will try to buy any one these gadget.
@@jessetoons5446 no that aint necessary. If you animate and the gap is too big and you slow down the fps. Itl be an abomination. You can tween or move the layer

Nope. He didnt have normal animator route. He went direct to digital and learned animation before learning anatomy. That's why he has a very different style compared to typical animators.
I would love to have a graphic tablet, not just to upgrade from a pencil and paper, but i can really start to strive towards my own dream of being an animator myself.
I recommend getting a Ryzen 4000 series CPU since the 3000 series CPU's are SO good at multithreaded work, in short, Ryzen CPU's are really good for the kind of work you're doing. I also say get the 4000 series because they're coming out in October I believe.
Definitely agree. My 3900x is a beast at multitasking and the new 5900x looks like its going to steal the throne at the overall best consumer cpu in all categories.
Kymani Brown I just finished animating a 60 second piece with lip sync on Flipaclip. Never again! I love the layout of the app, but I would import art from procreate and instead of importing pixel to pixel, it would import relative to the size of my canvas. I would have to resize the imported images to match and that caused the images to “pop’’ in size with each change in images in the sequence. I bought a wacom cintiq 22hd and plan on trying out Adobe Animate next.
@@dan-ez8lg I find Callipeg on the iPad to be a much better 2D animation app. More so if you are used to Procreate. Actually, I'd say Clip Studio Paint EX wouls be the best of all on iOS but that doesn't come cheap.
If you need more display ports you can enable to on board graphics card on the motherboard. That way you'll have your gpu for actual work and the on board graphics for more displays

Slow motion is quite a task, it is the same as animating normal paced motion, just a lot more in betweens if you are going for a smooth animation.
