the were never gone... well, the dial is new... but the previous generation of non pro huion kamvas had buttons, i have a 16 inch one, and it has 8 (6 on the 13 inch version) round buttons on two bigger ones... They only removed them on the pro version because they give you a remote instead
@@jomsies yes it was. Look at "Huion Kamvas 13 2nd gen" on the internet, the buttons were there... But yeah, there are other kamvas series without buttons, it's true, and i never said otherwise, but the one this new model is replacing is the one i have, and it had buttons... The ones without buttons are the 19 inches and above models, and the 16 inches 4k version... all the others have buttons, just look on Huion's site.
Looks impressive - I can remember when the first Huions and XP-Pens came out (among other "alternative" brands) and you had to make sacrifices by not going Wacom. Seems like the only sacrifice now is paying extra for the Wacom version.
Their EMR pen tech has gotten so good, contrary to what many think its not due to X levels of pressure but instead is due to lower IAF and increased max pressure range which has vastly improved the pen performance with the recent XP and Huion's models.
It's the drivers, I have a 2020 edition Kamvas pro 24 1440p and my pen is as wobble free with the angle ruler test. Nothing that remarkable, my wacom 22HD had horrific wobble and jitter issues for almost a year till Wacom finally got the windows 10 drivers sorted in late 2016. I remember back then I had to keep my LazyNazumi smoothing JACKED in photoshop, lol. Then it was back to that Wacom magic which luckily Huion has now finally achieved too.
The scale issue at 7:10 is easy to fix, just go into display settings (on windows) select the huion and on the "scale and layout" put it at a 100%. For some reason (probably the size and all) the standard is 150% so everything is unreasonably zoomed in. Its better to adjust there than in individual software
I am impressed by how much Huion improved their products in terms of performance keeping them in a low price, they also sovled the software and now is not giving problems, they are doing a really great job.
I'm really loving how Huion and XP-Pen keep upstaging each other. Two years ago we had XP-Pen dropping Gen 2 budget tablets that were better than Huion and this year it's starting to be vice-versa. It's making them shell out better products. Last year I got an XPPen Artist Pro 16 2nd gen, and when my friend asked me for tablet recommendations to replace her aging Cintiq, I recommended the new Huion 19 because of the touch screen and that it had so many positive reviews on how the pen handled. My only gripe with these new textured screen tablets is that regardless of if I use plastic or felt nibs, my tablet has outlasted all the nibs it came with in just barely a year. 😂
12:26 It really must be insane how good of a deal this is for you to preach its excellent value for $350 while also having an annotation right there that it's ACTUALLY $250 instead. What a great product, thank you for the review!
@@jesulani9548 Mine didn't come with the matte screen protector so it's smooth plastic but feels good to me. The pen stylus has a firm but slightly rubbery feel. I'm really enjoying line work now. So much more control than on my smaller screenless drawing tablet.
@@leahscontemporary I don't think so. Maybe in full sunlight but I've rarely had to turn it up all the way drawing next to my window. I adjust the shades so there's no sunbeams directly on the screen.
@@NiSE_Rafter Yeah, but for the tablets that have only one dial, the dial would be at the bottom instead of the top when you flip them over, making it difficult to use.
@@Vasereex121 The only relatively recent and prominent single dial display tablet I can think of XP-Pen's last gen artist pro lineup and it had the dial in the center
I still use the v1 of the Huion 13 and still really enjoy it, so I can't imagine how nice the v3 is ♥️ I'm not much of a digital artist and mostly just use it for rough sketches/as a second monitor when traveling, but if I ever needed to upgrade I know what I'd go with :)
Ordered mine today. Can't wait to get my hands on it. I use it mostly for sketching. I am not much of an artist. I use it for illustrations and technical drawings.
this tablet is so nice it really is making me realize how young I am and how thankful I really have to learn to be. literally going back into the box for a week probably until I figure out the basics. deadass was drawing better with mouse LOL. Make cool things if you get this tablet. seriously! This is insane value and I used it for 40 min. I had a wh1409 awhile back i think it was for reference of where i'm coming from
Hey Brad another great video. I feel like many of these "Budget" display tablets are all people may need especially for getting started. I used an XP-pen 12 or 13 pro (dont remember the exact specs) and it was great to get started so I could save up for my ipad (which was then stolen) So I have gone back to the XP-pen artist and it has definitely gotten me bye as I save up yet again for another Ipad or tab s9.
Just curious.... Would you consider a larger XP, instead? (22, 19, 24...). I have a tab S7 FE, it has more than enough processing and RAM for painting (unless it's a quite large project for print), but it is quite a way lower/limited painting experience compared to drawing on a big tablet (and a big enough display). And the issues are the same with an ipad (even the latest Pro). Also, besides that, even the iPad with a slightly better software ecosystem falls really short compared to what you can get on a desktop (or laptop). I paint (now only occasionally, I just use a big intuos + pc or laptop, but gave it a serious try for months) with the s7 FE, but I would very much regret the purchase if weren't that it is fantastic for standard uses, like just browsing, consuming anything audio or video (great sound and good image quality). But definitely that was not the plan for it, but using it for painting. And I can paint with it, no problems, but it's way worse than any pen display (from 19" and up, specially 24) or even the combo of a classic tablet, PC and regular monitor, with what I do all my pro work.
@@3polygonshonestly I’d consider it. I like the portability of the iPad or galaxy tab. But at the same time I have probably drawn on it away from my desk maybe twice lol. If I went larger I’d want a quality touch display as my brain has just gotten used to touch controls
@@PaulKaseta If you are only sketching... or doing art _very_ casually, an iPad or S9 FE+ (or Ultra, anything equal or above 12.4 inches with 6GB or 8 GB RAM) makes total sense. And it's a mini computer with wifi which you can carry everywhere in the house, and even outside (for interiors, really). I'm not comfy with it for serious work, but that's personal to each one. I just don't see it as a daily driver for full day work, every day. In terms of the iPad, I'd totally get the iPad AIR 13" (not the 11) with the new Pen pro and m2 processor rather than the new iPad Pro 13 (m4). As you get all needed and a decent size with this solution (new AIR 13) for a lot less money. And I am not convinced on OLED's risks (the new AIR has yet the retina LED that is so great. OLED free ;) ). If being completely honest, if money is less of an issue, I'd go for the iPad AIR 13". Better software ecosystem. Procreate and ArtStudio Pro are amazing, and you can purchase Affinity to get every advanced software for image editing and vectors. And I prefer the ipad's screen's ratio (proportion) for painting. Even if the S9s' ratio is better for media/movies/series consumption. If you need all touch functions it becomes complicated with pen displays... at least if willing to stay in "reasonable" cost. Many of the budget options don't have those. Plus touch functions are not really well implemented in most desktop software (for Windows, macOS). In the best case, not like in tablet's "apps". But in exchange, those apps are toys compared to professional software on desktop... Kind of.
@@3polygons I do have affinity, and I agree with the air 13 reccomendation. I think ultimately thats just going to be my best bet. Thanks for the advice! I do more than light sketching, more comic and light 2d animation work. But even my 5th gen air could handle all that but the extra screen real estate on the air 13 would be great
It depends on how it really compares in actual "control" (doing small details, etc). There's more to it than line wobble, as I compared an old classic intuos Pro XL and it provided better line control than huion Kamvas 22". But it is REALLY good that there's no line wobble in this tiny model (here's hoping same luck for the future gen 3 larger models). All I say is that, by experience of comparing myself these two brands products, using both intensively (and the Wacom being way much older)... I'd have to really test these on my own, to know for sure. Learned that the hard way :).
I'm very glad you show the initial pressure activation, you're the only one I saw do that test, thank you. For me, if the stylus is not registering something with only he's own weight at a certain angle it's not good enough. Its Personal tho
I have the normal Huion Kamvas 13 and it still works great! But I have to say that his one looks tempting, if this one ever dies I might jump into that. Biggest issue with this one is that I don't have a color calibrator machine and I'm not totally sure if it's right, but the pen is the best I've ever used, the screen friction is enough for me up to the point I don't need to use felt nibs (too much friction for me). Glad to see Huion is still creating great products. Also, you don't need to plug the 2 USB A, the red is only required if your machine can't output enough power through the first one, you can try using it without the red one and most probably will work, I mean, I use my Kamvas 13 on an old asus tuf fx505d and works fine with just the HDMI and the black USB A. The stand is more expensive here in europe, it is 50€ which is quite much for an stand, but even if the base is plastic ir works surprinsingly well and doesn't show any sign of wear after 2 years. The screen size is good for me, I can't imagine me using one of those giant 24 inches tablets, 13 is quite fine, 16 at max. But if you want something affordable this one can server you pretty well, I believe you can perfectly do proffesional work with this device
Hey, I'm considering buying my first pen display. Kamvas 13 2020 version is looking super good and affordable since it's now discounted while this Gen 3 is like 80 more euros. Would you save the money or is the extra invest super worth it in the long run?
@A1Blueru I can't really tell you because I haven't tried the new one, the only thing I can say is that I'm still using my Kamvas 13 and I'm still happy with it. Given these machines are meant to last for years, I'd say that if you can afford the new one go for it. If not, the 2020 one is still good 👌🏻
Aaaand got my order in. I needed something portable-ish for my travels, so this will be more than enough. Thank youuuu! PS: there have been tablets with two wheels! I had a very old Genius drawing tablet about over a decade ago with them. I don't think they make them anymore.
Great review! I just ordered it, I get it tomorrow. Believe it has everything I need and much appreciate the thorough review pointing out all the features and pros/cons. Certainly looks like there are few cons. Thanks again! FYI, Amazon has a 10% off coupon for this too.
I'm thinking of getting this tablet as a portable option, how is the pen accuracy? I currently have the xppen artist pro 16 (2nd gen), and while it is a good tablet overall, I find that the pen offset accuracy is not that great. what do you think?
I use the inspiroy dial 2 which has 2 dials but no screen and I love it. I mainly use it for animation and video and the dual dials are great. If they release a new kamvas pro 16 with the dual dials, I'll be seriously tempted.
I still have my ol' Wacom Cintiq 32HD, whilst I obviously love it to death.. iiiits a massive giant display that cant go anywhere and whilst I was tempted for a wacom one, I ended up getting the Kamvas 13 2020 version, been rocking that since and I love it, but lately been wanting to update to a newer gen, so been debating between this Gen 3 or the Pro version x x
The Pro version is better if you want a bigger display (Kamvas Pro 19), touch, 4k, and pens with an eraser. I upgraded from the Kamvas 16 (2021) to the Kamvas Pro 19 and it was a substantial and worthwhile upgrade especially with the 20% discount during the holidays.
Side note Brad do these tablets have tilt? And could you demo that in future videos? I use it a lot in my day to day and would love to see how it performs on non-Wacom tablets
I wish they would just announce/release all the Gen 3's at or around the same time... so how long are we going to have to wait for the 16 inch version?
I have the 2.5k pro. Can you find out if it is the pen that is making the lines that good? It'd be great if that pen was the fix and can be used to upgrade a current tablet .
I'd wish... but I am afraid it is often a combination of the pen, the tablet grid and build process... But who knows. It's relatively inexpensive if the new pen would solve that. In other products and brands, the situation is also heavily affected by the tablet, so, while I would totally try it before buying a new tablet, I would not be too hopeful...
I dont think these newer pen tech 4.0 pens will be compatible with the prior devices just like how your 3.0/3.0+ PW517 and PW550 wont work with a device that came with the older PW507
Yes, it's the pen--not the display--which determines the line quality and sensitivity. *There is a solution* if you want a better pen without buying a new display tablet. The PW550 is an intermediate pen (PenTech 3.0+) which is a much better pen than the PW517. In some ways even better than the PenTech 4.0 with a greater pressure range and max pressure range. The only thing holding it back is the initial activation force of 3 grams vs. 2 grams for PenTech 4.0. You won't notice this unless you are a light drawer.
Thanks for the video, Brad. Question for you or anyone - With a tablet like this, can I be drawing on the display, press a button (on the tablet or on the pen), temporarily use the screen as if it were a plain drawing tablet to control my other monitor (with hover visible on that other monitor since the tablet would be showing something completely different), then press a button and go back?
Hello brad if you see this comment can you review the realme pad I been curious because I hear it is close to ipad but is probably hard for you to get but this is just my curiosity 😊
I'd just be worried about this as a lefty because of the hotspot. If I were to rotate the screen for a lefty config, the hotspot would be on the bottom left hand side, which seems problematic.
So ive been deep diving your reviews and i had finally decided on the Huion 13 pro, then outta nowhere i see your video on the gen 3 😢... So i need to know, which should i get, the 13 pro or the newer 13 (gen 3)? Please help, anyone.
Now I'm torn between the value of this vs the Ugee UE16... both are hovering around $200 at the moment. Seems like 16" vs a 13" with a little bit more quality/customizability.
I've tested in on my Kamvas 13 GEN3 (GS1333). It's very good with my unit. Huion states the corner accuracy as ±2mm. With my unit, I thought it was even better than that - like ±1mm. Of course this may vary across different units of the same tablet model.
Can a screen tablet like this open Blender? This type of tablet is new to me, I'm concerned that this is strictly for Krita or Adobe and nothing else would work.
Hi Brad. I’m new to Huion products. I need to know, do I need a laptop or or a computer to use this tab? And also, does it come pre-installed with adobe photoshop or adobe fresco?
Hello!! not brad - this is a display tablet and it does indeed, need a laptop/PC. No, Photoshop doesn't come with it since it's a second display tablet, hope this helps ^^
mr Brad, ive been watching for years now and all i can do is wish i had a drawing tablet so i can take bigger steps towards my dream of being a youtube animator. Sadly amazon doesnt ship to Nigeria cheap. import fees are super expensive. i was wondering if i can get some help from you. loved the video by the way. Always a banger.
We really need to stop calling this tablets "entry level", the quality in this latest tablets is just incredible, you can say goodbye to the wacom´s monopoly on drawing tablets. PD: Wacom one is trash, and nobody uses touch, unless your using an standalone tablet.
It's only entry level for the size. Other than that, no line wobble, 2 disks, 3 pen side buttons, solid pen.... well, the colors seem accurate, but "default" color accuracy is (a bit of a myth) just an starting point. It needs to be seen how it behaves once calibrated by a colorimeter, but good default values are a really good sign. But if it is decent enough, it's all you need, *if* counting as well on a good calibrated main monitor, to check values and tones. For me, every tablet from any brand below what would be a standard monitor size is entry level for full day, intensive, complex and accurate work (in my experience, 13 and 16 for that don't cut it). But fully agreeing on your opinion about the W. One. Being a brand that excels in quality, totally flopped big time in that product line, it's well known among professionals. Like with the companion/studio. The rest of the product line is pure excellence, as much as we can complain about the price (rightly so).
Hard agree, touch on pen displays is kinda pointless as you have keyboard shortcuts/macropad/TourBox to your disposal and your non-dominant hand will most likely be planted there all the time. Gives the impression of being convenient to pan/zoom around your canvas so intuitively, but the least thing you want is to add more stress to your dominant hand with constant touch gestures and the shenanigans that might happen from touch such as miss-clicks.
I have an xp pen 10 2nd gen and sometimes it feels so tiny that i cant see clearly, i now know that the bigger the better.. wish i could change for 12 inchs😅
Does anybody know if gen3 (or whatever it's called in larger models) is incoming for the 22 / 24 models (pro, plus or standard)? I mean, new product launches. 3 pen buttons, 2 disks (ie: for brush size and zoom or undo/redo), and tablet buttons, those are premium details to me (non existing in Wacom 'non-pro' Cintiqs). Kudos to Huion for adding those in a "mainstream" product. These become incredibly efficient in an illustrator's daily work. It seems that the key thing to me, *line wobble* , is not an issue with this one (huge news!), so, Gen 3 looks really interesting (and/or these new pens, the tablet, whatever is the reason. Or a bit of everything). Let's hope they'll apply same tech to bigger models. BTW, Wacom One (compared in the video) has ben detected (demonstrated with proof, tests) as a product line with significantly inferior tech (pen pressure and accuracy) by certain really thorough youtube creator. It's like another planet compared IMO to, say, the basic Cintiq 16 or 22; in certain way, actually also worse than the intuos classic pen tablets. I wouldn't get the wacom one even if it got cheaper.
I have huions 16 inch 4k display tablet, and honestly I have nothing negative to say! I absolutely love it. The size feels amazing in comparison to my previous 13in. The pen feels great to use and although I haven’t studied the line quality there’s nothing noticeably wrong while I’m drawing. If you want the newest tech, the 19in would be the way to go as you get the new pen and I think a few new features
Hi ! Do you know if the switch between a classic tablet without a screen and a tablet with a screen is done by pressing a button ? Or like on older versions, do you have to turn off the screen, unplug the USB cable and plug it back in ?
can someone tell me what liquid cleaner to use to wipe my Huion kanvas pro 24? it says on their site: non-ammonia, non-alcohol-based glass cleaner is this correct, any suggestions?
I have like 25 screen tablets including the tablet you mentioned. and I use WOOSH screen cleaner on it. It's really really good on screens. It's not particularly good for general plastic surfaces (so for those I just use a damp cloth and a little but of soap)
@@thesevenpens oh wow i didnt mean for you to go out of your way and order it i just thought if youd know if that cleaner i ordered would work on my tablet (not damage it)
@@nikb7995 I just got the mistify bottle five minutes ago and tried it out on my pen displays. It worked great. I would say as good as the WOOSH cleaner I currently use. And it certainly did not damage any of the tablet glass or matte films on top of the glass.

Hi there I love watching your videos. Can you help ma I am a digital artist i want to buy a tab my budget is around 179 dollars. Right now Amazon sales are on so which tab should I buy sumsung A9+ or samsung s6 fe
its hard for me to Chose cause i never had a Tablet to Drawn but i like the Huion Pro 22 (2019) but i guess the Newer it is the better it is and im used with A4 paper Size can someone recommend me a Tablet that has a A4+ Area to Drawn?
I think you would be fine with any 22" tablet . Bigger is better for line control, and scene composition, for me the ideal is 24". I use a classic (non display) Wacom XL, but I have total (trained) coordination hand-screen. For most people (some really good artists) it is not the case and they are better off with a _pen display_ . The issue is that the jump in price to a 24 is considerable. I would totally recommend you 24, but 22 is at a very, very nice value/capability/price ratio. It's very functional for people like you and me used to A4 or bigger canvases/paper. The XPpen brand seems to be cheaper in all their product line, BTW. But Huion Kamvas "Plus" or "Pro" products are pretty good. I have a Kamvas 22 (plain, not pro, not even plus, and the oldest) and it is very functional, but I prefer my intuos large as I get better line control and better sensitivity (don't trust the 16k levels of pressure, it's a marketing gimmick, a thing that each brand measures differently). Note here: The Kamvas 22 Plus has a remarkably good screen (wider color range, much better quality than a plain standard one) and is cheaper than the pro. You might want to consider it. The "plain" kamvas 22's screen is just barely a sRGB compliant screen, and my colorimeter can't leave it with really professional color accuracy, but it's workable (most artists doing commissions don't need so much color accuracy, though). Go for the Plus. Or the Pro. The Plus is a QLED (NOT OLED, qled tablets have no burn-in problem!!!). So, it's a nice buy. But even in the video is mentioned that the XPpen has better initial force of activation. Meaning it is more sensitive for shading and painting. So, very tough choice to make. Recently XP had and offer for an old 22R pro for 400 bucks, quite a bargain, but I think it finished. I got my Kamvas 22 (plain) for 400 bucks on Amazon, first hand, years ago. And if you have SAME control (like me) on a classic pen tablet than on a pen display (or pretty close), just go for a current Intuos Pro Wacom L. Best pen and tablet tech on the planet, and proven record of being incredibly durable, but ONLY if you really have such achieved skill (took me many years). If not, get yourself a recent, modern (ideally the newest!!) 22" or bigger pen display from XPpen or Huion, you should be completely fine.
@@LOGICALMAGNET Regular Huion Kamvas 22 is now at 449 USD (in the brand's US store). The one I very heavily recommend to you is the Kamvas *Plus* at 549 $. The difference in screen quality is HUGE. Full lamination, so, less or no distance between the tip and the cursor in any case, quite better contrast ratio, which typically means better subtlety in darks and light tones, plus better gradients (and due to QLED, people say also better intensity and saturation), and _quite_ wider color range... Really makes for those 100 bucks of difference, it is a much better purchase. I believe the pen is the exact same than the one my older kamvas 22 has (BTW, several years and hasn't break yet, but I use it very occasionally, and don't carry it around: I'm super careful), so, I maintain that a Wacom L pen tablet (indeed, even an arcane XL) has more precision with lines and in general, but useless argument if you don't have _a lot_ of control and experience with pen tablets. Also, "same pen" does not tell the whole story, the grid is surely better in the Plus model, and full lamination adds a lot of control. The experience, feel, accuracy doing lines and detailed work depends on many factors. XPpen Artist 22 Plus seems like another good purchase, closer to your budget. 422 $. 130% sRGB (91% Adobe RGB, it says at the bottom, on specs, quite good for a product like this and at this price), so, should be completely fine. It says the "offer" ends in 14 hours, but dunno if this is a permanent trick for impulse buyers and this price is set down often. (dunno as I typically purchase on Amazon, not at these 2 brands' main site. For faster shipping, refunds, etc). It's quite good for a product like this; I'm surprised. Anyway, "regular" price is 469$, so, kind of also close to your budget, if you miss the offer. This model is pretty new, says in the shop listing. And I recommend going for relatively recent models, as these brands evolve a lot each year. Both are 1080p screens (1920x1080, I believe). I never *_EVER_* was disturbed with the "pixel", and I am a professional artist (and painted plenty on the Kamvas 22). But some people get really picky about this. If that's your case, it seems Huion is going to release soon a new model line (if I understood it cortectly), for example, the Kamvas RDS-220. Those are 2.5k QHD resolution (1440P height if I am not wrong). Which brings finer point than 1080p. But I have always thought it's an exaggeration, the resolution issue of "seeing the pixel" (you really have to focus on that...). I guess as a new product (can't purchase yet), it will be definitely more expensive. Or you can also go to the 24 series (my personal preference), and get the "Artist 24". The 24 Pro seems older (surely the first one, says 90% Adobe RGB while Artist 24 is 94%!). It's 2.5k but at a bigger 24" size (which is great), but still very fine point. But then is like 900 bucks or so but right now are at around 600 both (I guess these offers happen often)... ;). The 24 "Pro" is now old. With a few "issues", too. I remember the first iterations of both Huion and XP had problems of accuracy when the pen reached the edges of the screen (important for reaching menus! Are accessible but the displacement is larger there). To my knowledge, it's due to not full lamination. Dunno if the Artist 24 being more modern than the pro is full laminated. It doesn't say.... Instead, the 22 "Plus" versions of both brands don't have this issue due to being full laminated, but I could be wrong. I believe is due to thicker screen, so, all the full laminated models (Kamvas 22 Plus, Artist 22 Plus should be fine), as there's no displacement between cursor-pen tip. I find the XP Artist 24 (non pro) dangerously tempting for myself :D There you go. With your budget or a bit more, to draw on something somewhat similar (in perception, even if not exact in size, as what counts is the "feel", in my opinion, also need to count on the space eaten by menus and panels, so why I recommend 22 and up; ideal 24) to an A4, I'd get one of those 3 (in no particular order!) : Huion "Kamvas 22 Plus", XPpen's "Artist 22 Plus" or a pen tablet: the Wacom Intuos Pro L. Beware, the names have to be exactly those, as these brands have tons of products, some names are way too similar but are very different products (often, quite worse). Lastly, in case you'd prefer a classic tablet, the Wacom L is right now, at US shop, for 499 USD, first hand (new). Disclaimer: I have never used a XPpen tablet. Watched a gazillion reviews of many of their products but I have only (deeply) tested Huion's and Wacom products. But I am 99% sure both brands are very good, although inferior yet to Wacom in quality, accuracy and durability (still, the above are very good purchases, IMO).
I'm just getting started with digital art and am looking for a fairly affordable way to try it out. Is the Huion hs611 still good? Is there anything else in that price range anyone recommends? Thanks.
The hs611 works ok, although I would recommend the Inspiroy 2 over that model. The inspiroy 2 has a newer/better pen, feels nicer in terms of overall build quality, and the scroll wheel works way better than the hs611's touch strip. The medium is the perfect size if you are using a laptop, I would go for the large if you work on a larger desktop screen.
I have the v1. The most aggravating aspect is the usb design. Here we have a device that's the perfect size to carry with something like a steam deck or a little laptop, but deliberately misshapen usb c ports and the total lack of any labels for inputs is obnoxious. If it's all you have, you can get it working, but the incompatibility with usb c cables means you have to waste time tracking down and possibly modifying several 3rd party ones. And yes. I have the "official" Huion one. But the whole point of usb is to free us from proprietary connectors. Do yourself a favour and find an intuos 3, bamboo or some other cheap dark pen tablet to get drawing on your computer without the obstacles. Plug and Play is a thing that exists, but unfortunately not on the Huion Kamvas 13.
How often do you update your "The Best Screen Based Tablets" list? Because I dont see this one on it and I'm curious to know if its accurate so I can know I can compare
i REGRET I BOUGHT THEIR TABLET, usb c opening only for very slim one, so not every usb c cable can connect, only slim one, you find nowhere, probably to sell more huion products, shame onyou greedy bastrds, i found this on their web: ' Note: The USB-C to USB-C cable in this instruction specifically refers to the Huion USB-C to USB-C cable.
@@jomsies ye it was (the buttons)
Very exciting that they’ve figured out the wobble! Very impressive!!!
I’ve been drawing on a 10 inch iPad. 13 inches is sooo much bigger than I’m used to. The size is def not a problem
If you use pc aps with tiny icons, it does. Working with apps with divided layouts like storyboard pro is hard on small screens.
Can you recommend XP-PEN 16 Pro gen. 2? I can't choose between it and Huion 13 Gen 3. I really, really need your advice

hi! have you received it? if so how does the screen feel and sound exactly? Hope you're enjoying it!
@@jesulani9548 Mine didn't come with the matte screen protector so it's smooth plastic but feels good to me. The pen stylus has a firm but slightly rubbery feel. I'm really enjoying line work now. So much more control than on my smaller screenless drawing tablet.
Is the screen too dark?
@@leahscontemporary I don't think so. Maybe in full sunlight but I've rarely had to turn it up all the way drawing next to my window. I adjust the shades so there's no sunbeams directly on the screen.

@@allmight8127I don't understand. These devices have been ambidextrous for years haven't they? You can just flip them over and change a setting.
@@NiSE_Rafter Yeah, but for the tablets that have only one dial, the dial would be at the bottom instead of the top when you flip them over, making it difficult to use.

I've been waiting sooo lonnngggg forrrr thissssss
But even my 5th gen air could handle all that but the extra screen real estate on the air 13 would be great
i kinda like this design... i hope they make a 16" version
Exactly what I'm waiting for.
Yeah I want one bigger than my laptop but not too big either
You're in luck!
There's a 16 version already
At that price range it actually makes it Wacom Killer.
said no one ever
@@ckPinson-n4j Yes. Someone did say it. Me, and you read it.
@@3polygons The pressure control is also excellent. Much better than the slightly instable Pentech 3.0
You nailed that. @@hardwire666too
Working hard and saving each cent to buy this one, changing from a Wacom blind to this!!
If not, the 2020 one is still good 👌🏻
Interesting! for that price i'm intrigued!
Aaaand got my order in. I needed something portable-ish for my travels, so this will be more than enough. Thank youuuu!

No multitouch. Kamvas Pro 19 has multitouch.
I've been waiting for his review since the relase of this tablet 😭😭😭
Oh wow I'm here early. Excited to watch!
Have you decided? I want to know what's better :c
The thing I never understood is that my 15in Wacom needs a huge power brick, whereas my previous Parblo tablet just needed a USB connection.
I loved the glove dance! ❤❤❤❤
Side note Brad do these tablets have tilt? And could you demo that in future videos? I use it a lot in my day to day and would love to see how it performs on non-Wacom tablets
It should, the website says +/-60 degrees tilt in the specs. Works fine on my 2020 Kamvas13 so I'd assume it works on this newer model too.
I just bought inspiroy dial 2 that have 2 dials too. But when I saw this, I MUST get the 16" of this for my first display tablet!! 😭
*There is a solution*
if you want a better pen without buying a new display tablet.
Waiting for the UGEE UE 16 review.
If they make this in 16", even at 1080P, I will instantly buy it if it has those two dials.
Finally built in dials on a Kamvas, now I'm just gonna wait for it to appear on a 16.

I've tested in on my Kamvas 13 GEN3 (GS1333). It's very good with my unit. Huion states the corner accuracy as ±2mm. With my unit, I thought it was even better than that - like ±1mm. Of course this may vary across different units of the same tablet model.

Can you make drawing monitor mounts(or arm) like huion armst500 reviews thank you
We really need to stop calling this tablets "entry level", the quality in this latest tablets is just incredible, you can say goodbye to the wacom´s monopoly on drawing tablets.
Hi brad, what program are you using?
If you want the newest tech, the 19in would be the way to go as you get the new pen and I think a few new features

its hard for me to Chose cause i never had a Tablet to Drawn but i like the Huion Pro 22 (2019) but i guess the Newer it is the better it is and im used with A4 paper Size can someone recommend me a Tablet that has a A4+ Area to Drawn?
@@3polygons Thank you for telling me about 16k pressure and yes im on 400+ +/- bucks as well
@@LOGICALMAGNET Regular Huion Kamvas 22 is now at 449 USD (in the brand's US store).
I find the XP Artist 24 (non pro) dangerously tempting for myself :D
There you go.
Love your artwork
I'm just getting started with digital art and am looking for a fairly affordable way to try it out. Is the Huion hs611 still good? Is there anything else in that price range anyone recommends? Thanks.
The hs611 works ok, although I would recommend the Inspiroy 2 over that model. The inspiroy 2 has a newer/better pen, feels nicer in terms of overall build quality, and the scroll wheel works way better than the hs611's touch strip. The medium is the perfect size if you are using a laptop, I would go for the large if you work on a larger desktop screen.
@@velvi8359 Ok Thanks! I'll check it out!
Whats that brick you connected the huion tablet to?
That's a mini PC, check his previous videos for more details.
Apparently the single usb c port that does the whole singlr connection is flush on the side.
*this is good for students/beginners and intermediate users.*
Still waiting them to launch in India 😂
This is best cheap tablet ever
Next step: make touch entry-level
How often do you update your "The Best Screen Based Tablets" list? Because I dont see this one on it and I'm curious to know if its accurate so I can know I can compare
