The R7 can shoot without a crop in 4K 60, but it also has a 4K 60 crop mode, Sony have much more E mount crop sensor lenses because the have had E mount crop sensor cameras for over 5years, The R7 was released on the 24th June 2days ago, it would have been great if they released a wide angle lens at the same time but they decide to release a standard zoom lens the 18-45 and a super zoom lens the 18-150 which is probably the right choice by Canon as a lot of people who are intersted in this camera are sports and wild life users, I think we should give them time to release new lenses. The EF-S 10-22 is and okay lens but its much heavier doesn't have IBIS and is much more expensive than the EF-S 10-18 is STM which is probably more suitable for vlogging and is cheaper than the 10-22. The R7 will charge the battery via USB C if the charger is PD rated and it has the new LP-E6NH battery
Hi, thanks for the video. Just found your channel and subbed! There's a significant price difference between UHS-ii V90 & UHS-i V60 SD cards. I am wondering if UHS-i cards will work without any limitations on the R7? Is the 1080 video downsampled or is that wishful thinking? Thanks again!
You will notice a difference between the SD cards, mainly with how long it takes for the buffer to clear. I think I read somewhere that it took 25 or so seconds to clear on a UHS-i card and 9 second on UHS-ii. This also matters if you plan on shooting 10bit 4k60 video as you need 42MB/s write speeds, and UHS-i only guarantees consistent writes of 30MB/s
Good question! You def want to go with v90 cards uhs ii. Will help with the buffer and especially whenever doing 4K 60fps. It will be expensive but will benefit you in the long run
The camera should support USB C charging, but it only works with their new LP-E6NH battery, which does come with the camera. But if you had a LP-E6N battery in it, USB charging will not work.
Did you use the battery that came with the R7 to charge in camera. The older batteries won’t recharge in the camera. You must use the model battery that came with the camera.
I agree on something like a 10-20 something mm RF would be great. I still use this lens a lot on the EOS R adapted - and it is a great lens, especially for interiors. BTW there are both a non-crop and crop 4K 60p modes on the R7.

True but canon has had several years with their rf mount system now. They could have though ahead a bit better
@@ItsIndiraChannel Thats probably true. A nice wide lens say a 10mm f1.8 would be great
Amazing that Canon finally released an APSC. Weird that it’s RF mount. Great video
Canon has always had APSC bodies. First one for RF mount.
Hi great video, is the autofocus in video good on the R7? and does it track well? thank you
It is superb! Can focus on the eye from across the room

Ahhh good to know! I must have not had the new battery when testing out this camera then
@@ItsIndiraChannel Hey, just wanted to add: You also need a Power delivery (PD) supporting charger or battery pack.
Didn't it come with the RF/EF adapter in the box for free? I read somewhere that the adapter comes for free
It was only a limited time thing, and only if you bought it on Canon's site.
This was a pre production model so I didn’t get a box with it just the camera

I was using a pre production model and whatever battery the canon rep was using.
Just use the 10-22 mm E mount lens on the adapter. Crises solved😮.
More money tho
Hi Indira, is the 1080p of this camera terrible like the R5?? Or is better? Thanks
When I tested it out it seemed pretty clean although on this camera you can’t push the iso that high
The r10 has the 4k 60 crop not the r7
You right! Thank you for correcting me
Does the r7 do 4k60 with ibis and autofocus?
R7 also have crop 4k video mode too if you know
Is the battery cover removable, like it is on the 90D? Haven't been able to find anything solid on that
Yes it should be!
I think you'll definitely see a 10mm lens now that sony has released the 11mm F1.8.
I really hope so!
Still waiting for mine 😅 Subbed ☺️
Thanks for the sub! And oooo the waiting part is the hardest

thanks for the correction and true the adapter would still be a dope vlogging lens setup
Does The 1080p 120 has autofocus or is manual focus like the 90D?
It has autofocus in 120fps! unlike the 90d that can only do manual focus in high frame rate
No don’t agree with you who get the R7 is moving from the 7Dmark 2 the main reason is for wildlife photography this camera is bild for that ..
It looks big on your hands or you have small hands .. just my thoughts :)
That’s true I do have small hands but it has a really nice grip
bella
Dang, yawn fest
