Great video.. You should look into another great coup. The Wembley coup.. Monday jun 11 1990, England played Ireland in the World Cup, and some big name punters did the bookies over during a greyhound race at Wembley Stadium - Gavarus Villa was the dogs name. Some bookies were involved, but others opened up at 25/1 and 33/1, a big betting company ( Turner Kendricks ), had several local smaller businesses put money on, both in betting shops and at Wembley, I was one of them... When the bookies that didn´t know had taken bets at big prices, then the bookies that were involved opened trap 6 at 6/1 and 8/1, and the bookies that would lose a lot of money were furious. After i had collected the money that i had put on for my boss ( more than 20000 pound ) i left in a hurry and were actually followed for some time by some thugs connected to the bookies that lost heavily..
They have the full shoe these days, Win online and the punter will then have to dance through all the SOW questions, after those questions the punters account will be restricted. Ladjokes were the first to restrict my online account after 5 straight days of single horse wins, yes I was only backing one horse per day but it was still pure luck, before that I had 18 straight months of losing which Ladjokes were obviously happy with, they restricted my account down to £3.75p on ALL Live sports, they did however say in Live Chat I could gamble what I wanted in the Casino section, I closed the account down. I don't gamble now as it's just not worth it now.
@@G4RY1159 tried to get an account with Ladjokes myself but they wanted to know details I wouldn't give to hm govt. Got a no limit account with Betfred lost five grand and they closed my account without warning with £53 still in it and never had it returned. Bad experience with Paddy Power too. They blocked my account with £2.220 still in and it took me two hours to get it returned. With Bet365 now. Had two grand on Verstappen at 11/4 and they paid up no probs. So all's good so far with them. I've found them to be good especially on horse racing
It's easy you just have to be SMART. I've been making my living betting on Greyhounds for over 7 years. I don't use online. I use the highstreet. But never the same street two days in a row. And never more than £20 on any single bet at any bookmaker. On any day. That's how winning is done on the down low. You bet smart and they won't even have a clue you've taken them for thousands. Alot of gamblers have zero common sense. And will keep hitting the same local bookies until they get banned or restricted. Use your head. I often grab alot of betting slips and have my friend put the bet on. So many ways to fool them. It's GREED that gets most gamblers. Don't be trying to win more than £100 at any one bookmaker. I go to Camberwell tomorrow. I wont go back there for a MONTH if I win. Use your head.... I was in Croydon last week. Laid 3 bets £20.00 each on a dog at 7/2. In Ladbrokes, Paddy Power and William Hill. Bam bam bam. Picked up £90 from each of them for a total of £270. I don't go back there again until October..
Back in the 80 s some punters managed to write out a Yankee with all winners on it ,and when clerks back was turned stick it on winning side ,computers soon put a stop to anything like this happening again.

Gotta love the lengths gamblers will go to in order to beat the bookies. The organisation on the Dagenham dogs was fantastic. Just a shame the bookies will so often find a loophole to try and wiggle out of paying up for the ingenuity of those placing the bets!
I worked in a betting shop (TAB tote) in Australia for many years, and I've witnessed something identical to the 1964 dogs coup as recently as 10 years ago. Independent bookmakers would offer the best price of the 3 state betting totes. Place bets would be made on an outsider in a New Zealand dog race on the QLD tote, which would have virtually no money in the pool, due to the time difference. This would blowout the odds of all the other runners. Significant place bets would be made on all the other runners with the independent bookmaker right on jump time. The bookmaker had set a maximum place price of $26, but the coup would invariably net $15,000. The bookmakers soon changed their policies.
Great story, not mine, but will tell on. Bookie at the dogs, sprint race, fella comes up can I have 1000 on T6 3/1, 1000 2/1, 1000/1 at 1/2 kept going to 1/6... Same dog stumbled fell, got up and still won. Fella came up to bookie and said "thought you were clever, cutting them prices didn't you, word of warning, see them 6 dogs, they're all belong to me, different trainers all over country"
Hi Caan, I became a full time betfair trader around 3 months ago now. I love the money and the excitement of it, although I do worry about my chances of getting a mortgage, being able to rent, if you have any knowledge on this subject would you mind making a video about it. It would help a lot of people out I think, cheers mate. Love the vids.
Sure went through it all myself a long time ago. Advice is not to over-spend, pay cash. There is a blog somewhere about it too... if I were you, I'd be more concerned about the 40% premium charge after making quarter of a million.
This is not what you call a coup more a case of a fearless gamble. I'm talking about the time racehorse owner & investor Terry ramsden placed £500,000 on his own horse Mr snugfit in the grand national, the horse finished 4th, but still netted his owner a cool £1 million profit..
Is this the same Ramsden an older pal told me pulled an absolute fiddle at the Chester cup one year? Mind you the jockey was a certain k.fallon! A stacked deck for sure.
Hey Caan, me any my mates recently tried to sting an Australian bookie blue bet, they were offering 10 same game accas of $81 for the Brentford Tottenham game, and one of those 10 logistically had to win. We all put $50 on each acca, meaning our liability was $500 but one of the bets were logistically guaranteed and they all paid out $81 so we were guaranteed to turn $500 to $4050. We got all the bets down and then an hour later they sent us an email saying the bets were canceled due to obvious pricing error, but then they add all the accas back to the site @$71, i don’t know about you but $71 to $81 should not be considered an obvious error.
Obviously if 1/10 is a lock they should pay out roughly $10 but they themselves repriced at $71 and being an acca there aren’t markets on exchanges to even check.
Lol how dumb you got to be by all betting on same markets, with the same stake, on the same error 🤣 you just bated yourself out to the traders lmao retarded amateurs. Let me guess? All new accounts too? 🤣
Bookmakers only want to take your money and not pay out they treat it as a business and when they get stung like big business they cry blue murder, they don’t seem to understand that the horse, golfer, dog or whatever is being gambled on still have to win, there are multiple ways for the wagers to fail and when they fail the bookies rub their hands with glee but hit them and they squeal, I remember in the local bookies in my town a punter had an 8 horse accumulator running and after the first 5 had won he’d reached the limit of what the bookies would pay for an accumulator so the last 3 horses were running for the bookie luckily they won but if the total odds had been allowed to be calculated it would have been thousands instead of hundreds of pounds as it was only a. 50p or a £ accumulator I’m going back roughly 50 years ago
Was in William hill Newmarket last night, Don cantillon walks in asks about the price of something, my ear prick, i asked the lad behind the counter what he asked. He asked what price Leicester was to win, i was shocked was a good shout though.
Guys,it's all on top. Have a £1 Yankee at a bookie, the 1st two horses win at say 2/1 and 3/1,even if the last two lose, your card is marked. Get on a mini win streak, and they want to know your shoe size, your last 10 years of bank statements and how much pocket money you give ya kids. Cnuts.
Looking for guidance here, I recently placed a bet on Rangers to score 1 and get 5+ corners v Ross County in the first 10 minutes the referee wrongly gave a goal kick when it clearly should have been a corner this leaving me a corner short once full time came. The bet was placed on the betfair sports book. Would it be worth me chasing this up with Betfair or would I be wasting my time? Any help would be handy cheers
What about the guy am sure was Barney curly it was, before internet and Mobile phones the racing in Ireland was 2-3 mins ahead of here on the live feed so the race was over in Ireland and the guy rang his m8 in London 2 tell him winners over pay Phone on course and obviously they won every time
Mate and I went down to the dog track the night before the races and put grease. on the floor of all the box except the 8 box. Race 1 was a sprint race, the traps flew open and the 8 dog was a few lengths clear by the time the rest of the field scrambled out of the boxs and won easily We didn’t make a fortune think the 8 was around $7 but we were only teenagers. The best part was we pulled off our plan and made something from it. No dogs were injured 🙂. A few months later we pulled off a pokie sting for around $10,000 but that’s another story😉
The mascot gamble was a good one but the bookies mostly didnt pay out as far as i know. Someone paid a proper athlete 5k to take part. He wore spikes too😂. They should have collected 100k. In the end the mastermind was 5k down the payment to the athlete.
Mick caan talks piss . I've trained dogs and that's no truer than your mate said . Caan sits playing his key board talking about a load of crap I will tell you what internet has done to betting . Lay lay lay to lose not win if caan knows what I mean . He's not betting with bookies he's trying to draw in other internet Punters . Lastly what bookies don't like are a punter like myself one bet on a winner and walk away then come back and do the same. Other wise bookies love the four five or six horse accums because the chances of winning are never if you do your only getting back what you've lost over the years ok👍
In another comment you said you were a bookie, which I guess makes a bit more sense given your comments. The internet has revolutionized betting and furthered it's evolution like many other things. I understand why you would be upset about that as a bookmaker though. I'm not sure how telling people about bookies bad behaviour is trying to draw them in, I'd think its quite the opposite mate.
Is there a tipster who offers a legit, good value paid service you know of? Looking at all these accounts over twitter. It's really hard to find one I trust
I will recommend you 2 tipsters both on youtube one free and one that has a patreon service.Mickey D The bookie basher, all his tips are free he is definitely the best free tipster i've seen he is the best kept secret on youtube he could easily charge for his tips but chooses not to how he doesn't have more subscribers i don't know. The other is Coldbeer Sports Mad Merrigan is his nickname his paid service is nearly always in a good profit he gives out the odd free tip as well but not as good as Mickey D for free tips. But Merrigan has said that in Jan 5th he will give his paid tips for free that month. If those guys can't make you a profit long term then gambling is not your game!!
Sure, although its the focus less (mentioned it in a video the other month)... once you go over £250,000 you're slammed with 40% premium charge. Many don't like to talk about it, but that's usually because they make a lot more selling something :)
Anybody gambling today or thinking of gambling is getting into shallow waters with blood thirsty Sharks, the game has changed so much over the last few years it's now just not worth it.
It's not worth it if you're STUPID. I've been making my living for over 7 years at highstreet bookies. If I'm in Camberwell tomorrow. I'm not back there for 6 weeks. And you NEVER lay more than £20 on a single bet. Some gamblers have no sense that's why they get shut down. If you are smart you can take over 100k off of the big boys. And they will never know.
Not that bookies ever need excuses for not paying out much these days ,partly making up for these tickles as most people with brains know ,the game is all down to the trainers they say what wins and when most owners don't get a look in ,if you can afford a racehorse your ok so it's the poor old punters ,that day in day out have to pay for it all and they do Ladbrokes profits don't just go up each year by millions ,it's billions and the rest of them thank fk government nearly stopped the casino machines ,but as we know your average punter hasn't got a chance of winning sadly ,and leads to many suicides in this country more than any other ,no surprise because it's the greediest one .
You want to screw over betting sites that are dodgy , think of this , how many games end in 0-0 and how many games have 1 goal or more . ods are low right well 1.03 1.04 .1.05 1.10 when lucky .. wel the decimal factor they cant change got to love math . 10 bets of 0.1 with 1.05 ods equals 10% profit instead of a 5% profit margin . so you can either half your stake to get the same result lower . Even 1.03 ods with a 0,17 stake equals 0.5 that is rounded up to 0,1 0,51 stake to get the same result as a 1,00 stake . Doesnt sound like much but losing 13% of your bets and 87 % profit i call that a win , and you can do it over and over again .
only horse trainers win they no when they win they all stick togeather the bookies pay trainer to pull races same with any sport the gambling industries as got it all soneup

A few months later we pulled off a pokie sting for around $10,000 but that’s another story😉
course you did
8 dog omg. You Americans don't want anyone to win. Two zeros on a roulette wheel. And 8 dogs in a race. Glad I live in the UK..
The real big players you never hear about.
Exactly rite most of biggest players are the trainers , obviously got it down to a fine art .
The Owner of Bet365 Denise Coates earned 421 million back in 2019 - That's winning.
They all sound like characters from a guy Ritchie film.
The mascot gamble was a good one but the bookies mostly didnt pay out as far as i know. Someone paid a proper athlete 5k to take part. He wore spikes too😂. They should have collected 100k. In the end the mastermind was 5k down the payment to the athlete.
An old mate of mine who was involved in greyhounds ,always said never back one unless you know it's going to win 😂✌️
Haha. Professional gamblers don't take risk, its what makes them professional.
You missed the Cartmel one. That was genius
Yeah it was but did it bring in fortunes like have been mentioned with the other coups here .
Yes brought fortunes , but as far as I know they didn't get paid , the house maid gave the game away.
Gay future , film made about it.
Barney curly the man for it great mastermind in betting done a lot for charity the most under privileged. Rip barney .
Brilliant man for what he done in Africa 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉, RIP barney ❤.
Bookies always win for one winner there's 100 lovers.
Bookies....xxxx em...legalised thieves, yet when someone lands an acca....you need Auric Goldfinger with you to get your winnings 😂
Do you not trade anymore?
Sure, although its the focus less (mentioned it in a video the other month)... once you go over £250,000 you're slammed with 40% premium charge. Many don't like to talk about it, but that's usually because they make a lot more selling something :)
love to see the bookies getting spanked makes my day love your vids Caan
Anybody gambling today or thinking of gambling is getting into shallow waters with blood thirsty Sharks, the game has changed so much over the last few years it's now just not worth it.
speak for yourself mate im making a killing from the greyhounds
@@AlfredTheBrave and what does that entail?
It's not worth it if you're STUPID. I've been making my living for over 7 years at highstreet bookies. If I'm in Camberwell tomorrow. I'm not back there for 6 weeks.
And you NEVER lay more than £20 on a single bet. Some gamblers have no sense that's why they get shut down.
If you are smart you can take over 100k off of the big boys. And they will never know.
you say yellow sam was the biggest with 2 million...well the dog one you mentioned was the biggest at 12 million
Can you teach me? I just want to make some money having bad time
Harder to do this these days when where all limited by the bookies to 10p stakes 🤣
Ye makes you wonder if they would have asked for 300 sets of bank statements.
@@CaanBerryProTrader yep win and withdraw...You need to prove your ancestory from a thousand years ago 🤣
10p - You must know people lol
@@chloedog47 They ask shit when you are uploading and losing, proves how concerned they are about money laundering, jokers the lot of them.
@@G4RY1159
How can you money launder with a digital transfer?
No affordability checks🤣🤣🤣
I doubt they bankrupted the bookies
Not even a papercut
When making videos, why rush through as if you haven't a second to spare to allow people to savour what is being delivered? It's not a race, is it?
The great Dougie Taylor
Bookies loosing money , boo hoo
Dogs my friends dad had the f/c and settle for £50
On the Dagenham coup?
Yes
I should add he had it in the betting shop
Bookmakers are quick to take your money but don't like when they lose. We'll nobody likes to lose. 🤣
At least 50% of Irish racing is fixed.

Wait a minute in 1964 their was no wmhills labrokes or corals then mate these bookies never appeared til on the town's or cities till 79 .or80s. all bookies then we're independent. And now you would never get away with what your talking about why they are not bookies now. And internet has kill it. For Punters I'm 75 old I've bet since I was 15 in pool halls and street corners. The greatest coops we're Barney curley. With the phone. And a few years ago another curley one. Veitch carbbage. I could name bigger Punters than this. And as bookies Freddie Williams was the best he took bigger bets than what you are trying to tell. Just ask jp MC Manus .enough said
There was mate, they were early independant boomakers. Look them up, William Hill was founded in 1934.
@@CaanBerryProTrader hi I live in Scotland and trust me wm hills didn't appear in Scotland till 79 /80s . And in England my uncle who who was a bookies there was no shops the only place you so bookies was at dog and race tracks ok
