Jumps racing is a lot different to flat racing in more ways than one, the horses that run these type of races are a different breed, they're bred to stay, so even if they make a bad jump & fall to the back of the field, they still have every chance of making a comeback & winning the race, when this happens though, the odds of the clumsy horse go up, my biggest achievement to day is when a horse that started out at 6/1 was at the back all the way around & wasn't jumping that well, it's odds went out to 66/1, but I could see that the jockey was still riding it well & without exertion, but the horse went on & won, check the In-Play odds next time you have a bet, if a short odds horse goes out during the race, take a chance on it & snatch the better odds, you don't have to lay as much down then. I worked coral and hills. Honestly the size of your bets wouldnt even touch the radar. Shop level you might noticed. But not from higher ups. Need to be better 3 figures. And bookies are crazy about customer care. The gambling industry is under insane scrutiny. Staff may not portray it. I used to spend all my time on the shop floor with the people. Id tell em to leave if they win.
Hi, thx I really enjoyed your challenge. Bit like top gear but betting lol. Please do more. Just so I understand, if the exchange volume and odds get shorter, then u go for the old better ods in the shop?
I believe so mate. once the odds decrease online for a selection . they'll be a slight delay before it hits the price in the betting shop so quickly take the price what's offered indoors and hope for a win. not a guarantee but more value for money . that's the idea I get anyway .
Great video Caan, might go and give this a pop on one of my days off. Just a quick question - when do you decide that a dog is good value? As an example you mentioned a 4/1 dog near the end of the video, what price on the exchange should it be for you to make a bet on it?
The further its price is from the exchange price the more value is being signalled. Take a look at the follow up video in the description of the video.

@@CaanBerryProTrader Thanks I tried it out, And im gonna go longer with the 3 days cause at a small loss. I've worked in bookies on and off for over 10 years. I can tell you without doubt we don't care. You also won't be getting affordability checked for a couple hundred quid on dogs. Regularly have customers doing a few hundred quid on races.
May I ask Caan, what stake system do you use, a percentage of rolling balance, dependent on size of value ?? Is there a formula to it ?? Top vid as always dude, your video package has pushed my trading to the next level, look after matey 👍🏻
An interesting above expected value bet I thought I’d share- not a huge fan of of virtual racing, but BETFRED do a “Virtual Double” twice a day- basically two (usually short priced) virtual favourites are doubled together at a vastly enhanced price- todays double for example was 3-1 and 9\4- double should pay 12-1 priced up at 18-1- bearing in mind virtual racing is algorithm based- therefore favourites have a true favourites chance and will win frequently- no vagaries such as ground, start, getting balked etc. It’s very good value and they hit MUCH more frequently than you might imagine. Todays double (my only bet today) has just paid for Royal Ascot…….
Your line about "Degenerates filling up the machines", you really are a class act. And "sitting round in a dreary betting shop", while sitting in your dreary box room. Oh the irony.
There wasn't any offence intended there, although playing casino machines has to be in that bracket as you can't win long-term. It's not a game of skill, like the lottery, it's a game of chance! Hardly a box room lol.
@@CaanBerryProTrader By that logic, anyone who plays the lottery is also a degenerate. You can't really use that word in any other way, other than to cause offence really. Granted, plenty of scumbags frequent betting shops, as they do most pubs, and benches in most towns and cities. But I wouldn't label everyone in a pub or sitting on a bench a scumbag. There are plenty of hardworking people out there who just like to stick a tenner or twenty in with the chance of pulling out a crafty £500. Just because they don't see betting as a means to a mathematical long term profit, doesn't make them degenerates.
I've just discovered how you did this. I'm being pretty successful myself although no doubt will be banned soon. Mastering the odds conversion is the next things for repeating your success.
Caan thanks for the cool video, I have 2 questions... 1. how long does it take for bookies to catch up on the odds on average, seconds? - 2. What is classed as big and small value margins? Example: 7/2 at bookies but 3/1 on exchange... 0.50 difference is that classed as big value margin or medium margin? Cheers
It vaires, depending on bookie, racecourse and extent of the margin difference. Usually seconds yes, maybe a minute or so sometimes. On occasion (if the race goes off late in particular) it might be longer. The bigger the difference the more value, at lower price ranges the tick increment represents more value as the price is representative of the overround percentage.
Please do! ...although bear in mind its quite laborious and not much fun in the shop. You could do it online but they will stake-restrict the account fairly quick.
It's explained broadly in the video and there's a follow up link in the description for this one. Lots of different strategies though, see the playlist on the channel page.

Ye at times I was tempted to push harder or stake a bit bigger when it appearead to be a bit of a gamble. As you see that went a bit wrong at the end!
Would like to see a breakdown of all bets prices taken and sp .Hundred pound a very limited bank good job you got off to a flyer
Still at a loss of how you done , so glad you did it 😊
It's because the prices I was getting were bigger than the true probability. This video will help - th-cam.com/video/i8W-piAMZzM/w-d-xo.html
Great video, as always. Were the bookies odds in the shop different or the same as the odds on their app?
Much respect great video
Much appreciated.
Cheers mate
Brilliant mate 👍
could you make a more in depth video on the "value betting" and greyhound strategy. Try help us replicate and start a challenge of everyone else joining in and donate to the charity with our winnings
There is one linked in the description and end screen already! I look forward to seeing your donation haha.
@@CaanBerryProTrader Thanks I tried it out, And im gonna go longer with the 3 days cause at a small loss. Finding it hard to understand if you just go for best value or also do some research to see which one is most likely with postivie value. If by next week Im at a loss will just round it back up and donate anyway.

Well done Dude!
Brilliant video really enjoyed it
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the feedback!
Do you need to show ID when you go in land based bookies or make an account? Or can you just walk bet and leave?
I've worked in bookies on and off for over 10 years. I can tell you without doubt we don't care. You also won't be getting affordability checked for a couple hundred quid on dogs. Regularly have customers doing a few hundred quid on races.
That donation? Top lad. Good on yer. Only donated a tenner but it all helps.
Have you got a link to your glasses?
May I ask Caan, what stake system do you use, a percentage of rolling balance, dependent on size of value ?? Is there a formula to it ?? Top vid as always dude, your video package has pushed my trading to the next level, look after matey 👍🏻
How much is the video package mate
Amazing mate 👌
Great video hope you’re well
Quick visit to the bookie after work 😉
Don't mind an arb or two before coming home to the misses 😉
@@csb7376 It absolutely does you twonk
What betting exchange app do you use m8 ???
Betfair because it's the most liquid exchange. Sharp asian bookies are another option.
I've just discovered how you did this. I'm being pretty successful myself although no doubt will be banned soon. Mastering the odds conversion is the next things for repeating your success.
Did you say certain tracks? If so which ones. I looked at Romford last night and couldnt see 1 bet
Cheers
Great content caan, did you stick to certain distances?
Nope.
I bought a new jacket, kettle and some blinds instead of the bookies, great decision 🤙 gambling destroyed me years ago, I don’t miss it one bit.
Great video, very interesting indeed, I'm going to give it ago and if I do ok I will make a small contribution. Good on you.
Please do! ...although bear in mind its quite laborious and not much fun in the shop. You could do it online but they will stake-restrict the account fairly quick.
Can’t fault you maté long may your winners continue and all the best in your future endeavours from County Durham
What's strategy u use for profit?
It's explained broadly in the video and there's a follow up link in the description for this one. Lots of different strategies though, see the playlist on the channel page.
@@CaanBerryProTrader my english is so bad, thank's to this fact i want to read about your strategies. Thank u for your work, Best wishes
What betting exchange app do u use ??
Betfair is the best as there is additional liquidity compared to the others.
Thanks enjoyed this one. Cool to see donations to children opposed to a bookmaker
Me too!
