I probably spent around that for the first run as well, also because I didn't want to miss any part of Central Yharnam either so I explored it 100%. Have in mind this was also my first Souls-type of game, only having played Nioh, which indeed still helped immensely on getting the mechanics faster. To be honest I had tried Bloodborne a year before playing Nioh and I honestly quit, it was too hard at first, but I decided to give it a try this year after having played Nioh and now I hold this game in high regard, really well made, story, mechanics, environment fits perfectly to the story... It's just amazingly good, honestly, now I understand why people love it so much. It's still probably easier than Nioh, I guess...? Feels like it is though, at least I needed many many more tries to kill some bosses, in BB I can manage to defeat it after 4 to 5 tries. Oh, with many more tries in Nioh, I mean like 20+ tries in a few bosses, no kidding, I still defeated 2 on the first try though.

One thing you failed to mention: the Madman's Knowledge you can get from the rat infested area after you cut down the two corpses. It allows you to start leveling up without having to encounter/lose to one of the bosses.
You don't need to give him ideas, he steals enough ideas from the community as it is and plagiarizes other youtubers theories and work sometimes word for word while making 6000$ a month off it.
@@countbooga6997 Yea I feel bad for the people who have to actually do the research and compile the gameplay footage and edit it. They do all that just for the slim chance that they might slowly grow their channel over a period of years. Meanwhile the youtubers with agents and management companies like Maker or Influential just rip the content and their stuff gets a huge audience because the algorithm shoves it in everyone's face (thanks to their agencies' contacts at Google). It's a shame, I miss pre-2018 youtube when regular people could just make good content and build audiences through a level playing field.
One of the most interesting things ive found in central yharnam was of course the kind ill man in front of the lamp. Its quite sad but near the end of the game if you go back there he turned into a beast.

AskiFin That's a good idea, but there are 2 problems: 1, I'm a noob in every Souls game when I start, so I usually take 2 or 3 weeks only to reach 50% of the game; and 2, I live in Argentina, a PS4 costs $11000 pesos, or $1300 dollars, and the game should cost at least $1000 pesos, or $120 dollars. So, $1420 dollars for the console and ONE game, it's too much.

If you stand under the bridge in central yarnham, where there are two hunters minions patrolling down the stairs to the shortcut you can hear the hunter minion on the bridge just before the boss say "It's cold, dear sister"

Yea that part was unclear, I talked to her a couple times and nothing really happened. Went back after I was at Bergynworth and she was gone. Luckily I found her at the cathedral after and apparently she wanted to kill all hunters. Bloodbornes version of going hollow maybe?

Still super useful to this day. Got bloodborne yesterday and spent around 2.5 hours on the first yarnham stage. Created a new character and picked different weapons, so much better. I definitely missed quite a bit of stuff that you pointed out. Thank-you!

Halcyon Industries Bloodborne is a Sony IP so it won't release on PC, now this is similar to Demon Souls so like they did for Darksouls From Software may release a really similar game down the line but Bloodborne itself will never be on PC save the PlayStation divsion going broke and Sony becoming a publisher like Sega did.
Halcyon Industries Final Fantasy is a 3rd party exclusive e.g Sony didn't own the property, Bungie left Microsoft to make a new IP, the Halo property is still very much Microsoft's (Same as the Demon Souls situation I discussed). Bloodborne on PC is the same as Uncharted or Mario on PC as they are both IP owned by console manufacturers. Like I said though I guarantee you that 2017/18 will see the release of Bloodborne in all but name as a full multiplat probably under a title like Beast Souls. So yeah if you wait a bit I guarantee you will get the game your after it just won't be called Bloodborne.
You just need to sidestep, attack, sidestep, attack, sidestep, attack.... You get the idea. It also helps if you chose the axe as your starting weapon, so that you know his moveset, because... Well it's the same as yours...
Dodging his gun shots is one of the most important things you can do. Doesent do a ton of damage, but it adds up and you'll burn through blood vials waaay more than you'd like lol

Today I finally unlocked the shortcut to the first torch, after dying several dozen times of course 😊 I was so proud of myself 😁 Then I walked in on the Cleric Beast 😱 I fought it as if it was a normal hack & slash game (think Kratos in GOW3), which obviously doesn't work ! I think I'm gonna level up very slowly before attacking him again.
this game is ez once u get use to it but it will always make u rage with its bullshit enemies that frenzy or poison this game is not harder than GOW 3 on chaos difficulty in my opinion
Actually, on the second boss on my blind play through, I solo'd him on my second try without the music box. He's not as hard as you think, especially if you use the tombstones to give yourself some heal time and gun parry him. Regardless, it's a fun fight. I recommend going back to that area later on after talking to the crow hunter

Lol the opposite for me. I had 2 summons for he cleric beast for my first try, then the father took me like 5 tries because I kept running out of QS bullets, and having the trick cane almost requires a counter attack.
I couldn't figure out how to stun Cleric. When fighting Father I got a counter right before he transformed and the music box stun let me finish him off.
Drewsafox I never found the music box. I used a long handled axe on the father and did a run away method. Power attacked evey time he got close, then molotov'ed his ass when he transformed.
You missed Gilbert! The first lantern at Central Yharnam go straight to the house in front of you, when you go straight you'll hear coughing and that's when you go to the window and then talk to the guy, he gives you a flamethrower after you kill Father G. After you know, change the color of the moon, he starts to go crazy like many other npcs. Also there's a short cut to the pig in which you can just back stab him instead of running past, but I forget where that shortcut is. (Just find another way to the ladder behind it lol)
4:34 at the end of these sewers you can spot EpicNameBro. He'll scream at you, but you'll have time to get behind the pig and charge your R2. Hope ENB doesn't see this video lol!
Oh how I get you xD people talk about father gasgoine but that was my easiest boss actually (the worst being the bloodstarved beast cos of that cheap poison effect, I tried like 8 times and even ran out of blood vials cos I did not have more medicine) Vicar Amelia took me about 5 tries because it gets way easier once u discover the wonders of numbing mist

I don't think DaS2 was that bad. I loved it. It's the worse in the series, but it had a lot going for it as well. But since Miyazaki didn't work on it, I will have to agree with you that it's not part of the series anymore.
NejoShow Oh, my reason for not including it has nothing to do with Miyazaki, it's just that the other team took steps back in the art design and gameplay departments, I mean I completed Demon's Souls right before finishing DS2 because I found DeS more interesting.

Playing a game as I do, as a curious yet tentative explorer, means I discover these things over time by... playing the game. Being inquisitive, summoning and beckoning fellow players, normal From Software shit, and even normal video game shit. If you're trying to blitz through the game every single time you play, then I'm sure you've missed everything beyond the basic battle mechanics. I am here because I loved the Lore videos, and then I discover playlist upon playlist that tells me I don't know things about one of my favourite franchises, that I actually do. Play the game, guys. Play as you might if this were real and you were brave enough to be your character. WALK SLOWLY! CHECK CORNERS! SNEAK BEHIND PEOPLE! BE AWARE OF YOUR ENVIRONMENT! LISTEN! And maybe YOU can tell Vaati a thing or two. I don't know if this was a pre-patch video and they changed some stuff, but what are you talking about when you say enemies stop dropping loot? Those two big guys nearly ALWAYS drop Blood Vials and maybe sometimes drop other things like Shiny Coins. Every Snatcher drops Blood Shards or Twin Blood Shards, WITHOUT FAIL. Those two werewolves between them ALWAYS drop 6 blood vials... by the by, upping your Arcane means more loot drops, maybe even better drops? I honestly love the lore videos, 'Prepare to Cry' is something I enjoy sharing with people to show what video games are capable of, story wise. These videos are offensive to people like me, and you know it. You could easily change the titles to "Things You MAY Have Missed" or "Things You MAY Not Have Known". I think the fact that you invite people to dislike "guilt free" if they DO know everything suggests that any attention is good attention for you. I'm not going to dislike this video, and I AM going to continue to watch your lore videos... just giving my own critical feedback.

For the Wolf Beasts on the bridge, lead them down the stairway (not the one in the video with the old man), but the stairway before them, and lead them down to the area where you can "drop" to the sewers. There's a ledge on your left that you can stand on, and the wolves will just fall below since they're too big. They "might" die from the fall (sometimes I get bloodechos from them, sometimes I don't), but at least they won't bother you unless you go down into the first part of the sewer
In all seriousness, you have a very nice voice that really sets the tone of your videos. It's very calm and relaxed with very subtle elements of humor! This I think is a rare gift that some people really underestimate. Great videos!
like the "things you missed" videos. I definitely like your lore videos over all other videos but these are nice. Theyre useful to watch for interesting tid bits or little secrets you didnt know that you could then incorporate in future playthroughs. I had no idea the shortcut above the dogs existed.
I beat the Cleric Beast and Gascoigne on my third try today, also my friend has started to take interest in the game from watching me play. I wouldn't have the skills or knowledge to advance this quickly in the game without these videos so thank you!

Loving this game! Just beat cleric beast!!!! Feels awesome to defeat the bosses, in fact, just beating regular enemies feels like an achievement.

NG+3 and Father Gascoigne is still one of my favorite bosses to fight! This game is too addicting.
Still super useful to this day. Got bloodborne yesterday and spent around 2.5 hours on the first yarnham stage.
Created a new character and picked different weapons, so much better.

Halcyon Industries Bloodborne is a Sony IP so it won't release on PC, now this is similar to Demon Souls so like they did for Darksouls From Software may release a really similar game down the line but Bloodborne itself will never be on PC save the PlayStation divsion going broke and Sony becoming a publisher like Sega did.
Halcyon Industries Final Fantasy is a 3rd party exclusive e.g Sony didn't own the property, Bungie left Microsoft to make a new IP, the Halo property is still very much Microsoft's (Same as the Demon Souls situation I discussed). Bloodborne on PC is the same as Uncharted or Mario on PC as they are both IP owned by console manufacturers. Like I said though I guarantee you that 2017/18 will see the release of Bloodborne in all but name as a full multiplat probably under a title like Beast Souls. So yeah if you wait a bit I guarantee you will get the game your after it just won't be called Bloodborne.

It's funny cause I fought the second Boss first and first tried him. He wasn't easy, but it was one hell of a fight! Fealt great, looked great!
I kept getting to his final stage and then he just flawed me. I ended up summoning for help on the 6th attempt
You just need to sidestep, attack, sidestep, attack, sidestep, attack.... You get the idea. It also helps if you chose the axe as your starting weapon, so that you know his moveset, because... Well it's the same as yours...
Dodging his gun shots is one of the most important things you can do. Doesent do a ton of damage, but it adds up and you'll burn through blood vials waaay more than you'd like lol

Actually, on the second boss on my blind play through, I solo'd him on my second try without the music box. He's not as hard as you think, especially if you use the tombstones to give yourself some heal time and gun parry him. Regardless, it's a fun fight. I recommend going back to that area later on after talking to the crow hunter

Wow, It took me like 7 tries to kill the Cleric Beast but I beat Father Gascoigne on my first try.
Lol the opposite for me. I had 2 summons for he cleric beast for my first try, then the father took me like 5 tries because I kept running out of QS bullets, and having the trick cane almost requires a counter attack.
I couldn't figure out how to stun Cleric. When fighting Father I got a counter right before he transformed and the music box stun let me finish him off.

Drewsafox I never found the music box. I used a long handled axe on the father and did a run away method. Power attacked evey time he got close, then molotov'ed his ass when he transformed.

You missed Gilbert! The first lantern at Central Yharnam go straight to the house in front of you, when you go straight you'll hear coughing and that's when you go to the window and then talk to the guy, he gives you a flamethrower after you kill Father G. After you know, change the color of the moon, he starts to go crazy like many other npcs. Also there's a short cut to the pig in which you can just back stab him instead of running past, but I forget where that shortcut is. (Just find another way to the ladder behind it lol)

I killed Father Gascoigne first try but it took me 27 times to kill Vicar Amelia =_= she's a cow. I beat her coz I found a way to summon an Old Hunter
Oh how I get you xD people talk about father gasgoine but that was my easiest boss actually (the worst being the bloodstarved beast cos of that cheap poison effect, I tried like 8 times and even ran out of blood vials cos I did not have more medicine)
Vicar Amelia took me about 5 tries because it gets way easier once u discover the wonders of numbing mist

I don't think DaS2 was that bad. I loved it. It's the worse in the series, but it had a lot going for it as well. But since Miyazaki didn't work on it, I will have to agree with you that it's not part of the series anymore.
NejoShow Oh, my reason for not including it has nothing to do with Miyazaki, it's just that the other team took steps back in the art design and gameplay departments, I mean I completed Demon's Souls right before finishing DS2 because I found DeS more interesting.

I agree that DaS2 is nothing compared to DeS and DaS (And Bloodborne, because so far this game is fucking awesome), but I at least enjoyed it. Although I can't say it was THAT good because I only played it twice, which is something I never do with these games. I beat DeS like 20 times so far.

I actually found a lot of these things on my first playthrough, even after screaming at Gascoigne. I didn't know there was a fence gap to the dog cage area though, nor did I know about that way to cut down the hanging corpses. Cheers Vaati.
Forgive me if this makes me sound arrogant (coincidentally how I perceive "You Didn't Know This" videos), but how many viewers seriously do not know about this stuff? Playing a game as I do, as a curious yet tentative explorer, means I discover these things over time by... playing the game. Being inquisitive, summoning and beckoning fellow players, normal From Software shit, and even normal video game shit. If you're trying to blitz through the game every single time you play, then I'm sure you've missed everything beyond the basic battle mechanics. I am here because I loved the Lore videos, and then I discover playlist upon playlist that tells me I don't know things about one of my favourite franchises, that I actually do. Play the game, guys. Play as you might if this were real and you were brave enough to be your character. WALK SLOWLY! CHECK CORNERS! SNEAK BEHIND PEOPLE! BE AWARE OF YOUR ENVIRONMENT! LISTEN! And maybe YOU can tell Vaati a thing or two. I don't know if this was a pre-patch video and they changed some stuff, but what are you talking about when you say enemies stop dropping loot? Those two big guys nearly ALWAYS drop Blood Vials and maybe sometimes drop other things like Shiny Coins. Every Snatcher drops Blood Shards or Twin Blood Shards, WITHOUT FAIL. Those two werewolves between them ALWAYS drop 6 blood vials... by the by, upping your Arcane means more loot drops, maybe even better drops?
I honestly love the lore videos, 'Prepare to Cry' is something I enjoy sharing with people to show what video games are capable of, story wise. These videos are offensive to people like me, and you know it. You could easily change the titles to "Things You MAY Have Missed" or "Things You MAY Not Have Known". I think the fact that you invite people to dislike "guilt free" if they DO know everything suggests that any attention is good attention for you. I'm not going to dislike this video, and I AM going to continue to watch your lore videos... just giving my own critical feedback.

For the Wolf Beasts on the bridge, lead them down the stairway (not the one in the video with the old man), but the stairway before them, and lead them down to the area where you can "drop" to the sewers. There's a ledge on your left that you can stand on, and the wolves will just fall below since they're too big. They "might" die from the fall (sometimes I get bloodechos from them, sometimes I don't), but at least they won't bother you unless you go down into the first part of the sewer

Theyre useful to watch for interesting tid bits or little secrets you didnt know that you could then incorporate in future playthroughs. I had no idea the shortcut above the dogs existed.
I beat the Cleric Beast and Gascoigne on my third try today, also my friend has started to take interest in the game from watching me play. I wouldn't have the skills or knowledge to advance this quickly in the game without these videos so thank you!
