that's very beautiful , although that I would prefer to have one with M390 Steel ..
Apparently wheen Lionsteel was making the SR1 they had a M390 prototype and it lost out to Sleipner in edge retention. So they went with Sleipner. I don't have any source for this, I've just seen it repeated in many videos and discussion forums.
well I think that's a bit impossible . M390 has much better edge retention but it's not as tough as Sleipner is , and because its a folder no one is going to use it for hard use so M390 would be perfect for SR11 .

Just a headsup. I tried finding it on your website using the ".de" ending for the german version, it doesn't show the knife at all I tried manually searching through the Lionsteel Folders, then the search function "SR11" "SR-11" "LI-SR11" none of them show any version of the knife. ".com" ".nl" ".co.uk" all work. But the ".de" doesn't. I tried Firefox and Chrome just to make sure it wasn't the browser.
We always put it on our .NL sites first, German has to be translated. Will be online asap, but for now it is available for sale on the .com as well.
Ah cool, thanks for the headsup, I ordered from you before and liked the service, so I was looking to get the SR-11 from you as well.
