    You're welcome brother! All the little features are what sold me on this one. I love seeing innovation on knives. Whether its perfect or not, I still love seeing it because eventually someone will perfect it and we will all benefit from it.🤣🍻

    This might be a solid piece. Definitely looks good. If it’s possible to ignore the lock and not actuate accidentally while using, then I’m ok with it. I don’t even like safeties on my pistols, nevermind pocket knives LOL.

    I apologize brother for posting non related stuff , but people need to know this .
    Benjamin Luckette 10 years old of Millington Tennessee died yesterday saving his 6 year old sister Abagail from drowning . she fell in a frozen pond and went through the ice , Benjamin sent his brother to get their dad and jumped in the water after his sister.
    when the dad got there he got Abagail out alive but Benjamin had drown , standing in water deeper than he was tall holding his baby sisters head above the water !
    i cannot stop crying for the pain and anguish his family is going through .
    Benjamin Luckette is a HERO he gave his life to save his little sister !
    please everybody pray for the Luckette's .
    i don't know any of these people , it just seems important that the world know about Benjamin's sacrifice !

    I no I might not use the lock 2 often but sometimes people that are not very familiar with a frame lock it might be good to have.in the sense ok my mom sometimes borrows my knife and its hard for her to even close a liner lock because of her arthritis. so I could lock it and she could just hand it back instead of trying to close it and cut herself. pretty cool knife.it makes me feel warm and special inside with all the cool features 🤣🤣🤣.great video bro

    This is an interesting knife. I don't really love the whole extra lock thing it's just a little bit of a pain to pay attention to but I'm sure some people like it. I think this is the first knife I've seen using an aluminum framelock which is unusual and new to me. I think the handle space is a bit small at least for me I like a bit more in the way of handle.

    • @BigRedEDC
      @BigRedEDC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah...the Roto Block would not make me buy the knife! Thanks so much for watching!

  • @rickkerans8485
    @rickkerans8485 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    That looks like a good knife. I think it was a well designed Integral. That red really pops. My only issue with that lock is it doesn't take meaning to rotate it enough to engage it. I could see just adjusting your grip and engaging it. Not that it becomes dangerous or anything if it happens unlike the new fieldstrip where you move that lever and the knife falls apart in your hand. I like that I learned something from the review as well. I had just recently seen another item with that steel listed but didn't know anything about it and now I do. Thanks for sharing it. Is it still available and how much of a hit on the wallet would it be?? Thanks for the info.

    • @BigRedEDC
      @BigRedEDC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know at some point I must have moved the lock a bit, Thought It was lock stick at first but realized the Roto Block was engaged a bit! Blade HQ has them for $165!
      Thanks again my friend!!

  • @jeroenvoss6231
    @jeroenvoss6231 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    That rotoblock is quite a clever invention, perhaps not really necessairy but nevertheless clever. only thing i would like to see on the knife is a dumbstud instead of the flipper but that's not really an issue. concluding; a very nice inventive design, good materials(curious how the edge retention will be) I like it.

    • @BigRedEDC
      @BigRedEDC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Lionsteel makes some very sexy looking knives (typical Italian style and flair I guess?), and they do seem quite innovative, some models have removable flipper tabs for instance. The looks definitely speak to me, what's holding me back is the one piece construction. Thanks for sharing!

    I agree on 90% of what you said. What I fear with the lockbar insert is premature wear. Its a stainless steel insert which in my experience is not nearly as tough as other inserts used in industry.
