@@zigenstern thinking the flat air-cooled set so the carbs and dizzy etc are set under the hatch in the tray. Puts the diff at the axle point with a normal vw style IRS and CVs. The diff would need to be flipped to run the right way. Gearbox would then hang out the back. All a bit backward but a dak dak sounding kei truck would be cool.

Love it guys! Your question about what other vehicle/vehicles that you work on a turbo under your seat is Cabover(COE) Peterbilt, Kenworth, White, or Freightliner. You would have mostly seen those in the United States from 1930s to mid-80s, the reason these trucks existed is because back then they had length laws as to how long a truck could be. You don't see them much now days, except as classic truck shows. Keep up the great work, looking forward to your next video.

I watch a many of TH-cam videos from basically all the automotive content creators. But no one does it like MCM. Don’t know what it is. But everything they do is relatable. I have never met these guys. But I almost seems like I work with the guys everyday when they make one of these videos. Freaking awesome love when a new one drops no matter the material, because at the end of the day they have killed it. That being said. I think the guys should do another engine swap. One in a sexy kinda modern Jdm legend. With one of the worlds best engines. Mk4 Supra with a n/a coyote. It would tick off the entire world and I think the guys would be down for it. Plus I don’t think it’s ever been done. Sure it’s difficult and expensive but just imagine it being delivered in this same format. Complete short video at first with the detailed one to follow. I would watch it 10 times. Cheers fellas

There is a distinct mad max flavour to the aquisition of materials in this video.. wants to buy fresh aluminium bar, ends up coming back with a bit of junkyard fence! I hope everyone learns from this wierd year to keep things like bolts that may be useful, and to share them with their friends. Imagine how long the project would have been held up if you didnt have some 10mil sheet metal on hand, or if benny hadn't kept a random obscure turbo and been willing to part ways with it. Let's work together to keep cool vehicles on the road

Hey, something relevant; the RHB31 is factory fitted to first gen Cappuccino's! the RHF3 is the same frame size but newer and better designed (RHF vs RHB), and a "big" turbo upgrade is a RHF4 which is the next frame size up.

Would love to see you guys do a $3,000-$5,000 challenge. Here's the catch Marty works with Turbo Yoday and Moog works with Benny. It would be a sick cross over and you can go for lap times at a track or drags something along those lines. Love watching you two always a good time.

When placing things always look at what it takes to repair or remove the thing in 2 years. A good fabrication rule. That battery placement you will need to remove that crossmember to change the battery. There must be a better spot.
