One thing I really like about Moog and Martin is over all these years they have managed to stay very humble. I have seen many TH-cam Creators get a bunch of likes or views, subs, and turn into complete A holes. Moog and Marty don't even have a Patreon account. If you want to help them out, you buy some merch. They never have pleaded for likes, subs, or asked for donations...Very Very rare to see that on TH-cam....These guys not only make great content year after year, they have remained friends, and have made the viewers seem like friends as well. All I can say is never change guys, keep doing what your doing, and we will keep watching. Much Love to you all from the USA 👍🙏

Funnily enough I was once told that the Japanese language has no real word for the colour green. In their language, green is considered a shade of blue. I'm told the actual primary colour is that teal colour that Makita tools are. Not sure if that's true or not but seeing green translated as grass does kind of corroborate that.

just read mary's fb post and screw the unappreciative people who thought this video was boring. no it isnt a video of them doing an enormous burnout with a 1000hp car or ripping through the streets ken block style with dancing gorillas. but its a genuine insight to what the build process is like when you're working on a project you sincerely care about. I've been watching mcm since the very early days and i love how you guys have stuck true to your roots and shown us the ground up builds. i've built a handful of cars in my time but always steered away from electronics because i feel like im hopeless with the little wires and currents etc. but videos like this remind be that you just gotta get it done and give it a try. you appreciate it so much more when you just do it yourself.

Finally getting into it. Held off on watching any new eps, so they could build up and I could do a little binge watching. Surprised you didn't get the ecu pinout from the dealer first. I've gone through the Subaru dealership and they are super helpful. If they don't have it, they get with the Subaru manufacturer. I had to do this to show proof that my Subaru was built for and sold in Japan, so I could get it legal for the road. I was bringing the car back to Japan and I didn't have the export certificate.

Talking about getting a pinout/wiring diagram, well done for getting one in Kanji (Translated). I worked for Honda in the UK in the 90's and all their PC's BIOS that drove various machines were in Kanji. Try reconfiguring a failed PS/2 that is in Kanji!! That was fun. But in terms of getting a pinout/wiring diagram my best experience was in New Zealand when I "restored" an ex-military Landrover 109 V8 24v fitted for radio (FFR). I called the nearby army base in Upper Hutt, north of Wellington and asked for a wiring diagram (I shorted out 2 12v 400a/h batteries in series and burnt-out the wring loom. Oooops!). And sure enough they willingly supplied it. I had it laminated. I wished I kept it.

Just seen Marty’s Facebook post about how people hate on ‘nerdy’ videos…
I just wanted to say I love all your videos even if I have no idea what is going on.
I personally would rather you upload what you want to upload than what your veiwers want you to upload, keep doing you. I love all the content and get excited when I get the notification that you have uploaded an new video.
Anyway time to watch this video….
    Cheers fellas!

A company in japan makes badass rock crawler parts for these. Portal axles, linked axle setups, etc.

Props for doing your own wiring. I couldn't do this. I never enjoy wiring videos lol but the DIY aspect from an amateur is good.

Would love to see you guys get a Focus ST225/XR5 and do the MCM treatment to it. Bit of front wheel madness. Or try a four wheel drive conversion with it. ✌🏼❤
