Hilarious, I was thinking the same thing, just watched the first start video. If we have to wait for them to finish the hauler, we won't see that thing drive until 2025.

Pretty sure you'll need a more powerful oil pump and a direct oil feed to the turbo as from that location it only allows enough oil to lube the cam and valves and timing chain so your turbo will eventually seize from my humble experience of building these cub engines

As someone who works at a place that builds hydraulic lines, marty bringing all that stuff is a dream customer. So often I get people coming in thinking they know what they need and end up completely wrong. They think they need a #6 orb to #6 jic(AN) but what they really need is a #6 bspp to #6 45 degree sae fitting. Bring as much stuff as you can.
My favorite is when they come in with ORB shoved into a NPT fitting

That's the name I had though of as well, turbo + posty = toasty ftw
Confucius says "If no oil restriction fitted to turbo , oil to the timing chain you will have not"
And.... a check valve at the new oil outlet at the head. Without a check valve the new oil feed line will drain when the engine is off and will have to refill entirely before pressure will be built. Without pressure, the chain (and maybe the cam lobes?) will run dry for longer during start ups.

hey mate, how much did your conversion cost? i have a yamaha jog that has damage to clutch bearing on case rendering it pretty much useless. was looking at doing something similar.
@@WhyAreYouUpset kind of a lot... I used 72V, 2.2KWh lifepo4 battery, 100A controler and 5.5KW hub motor. All together where like 3k euros plus all the other shit, like sandblasting and painting the frame, tyres, blinkers etc... its closer to 4k euros, so u can do the conversions to your currency. But it was also 2 years ago, so they have much less price now. Also, it can go up to 100kmph with a range of 50km. (real life, giving it the beans)

It is very rare to find CTs here in the US. However, they now sell the new Trail 125 for the price you can find the occasional decent super cub. Love these videos.
Our main postal service has used them exclusively for decades...so they are everywhere in AU.
Gonna get some ‘Fan Mail’ delivered on that bike! :) (Fan Mail is my suggestion for the name btw).
You could call it "Gone Postal", because you'd have to have "gone postal" to put a turbo on a postie bike, and when you turn that throttle with that turbo attached that postie bike will be "gone".
I don't think "going postal" has the same effect on the play on words in countries outside the US...where they didn't have disgruntled workers coming in to the office and just start spray-n-praying with your choice of firearm.

@@Sk1m_Beeble the total quantity isn't the problem, it's the flow rate. If you bypass too much flow to the turbo, the pressure at that spray nozzle will be too low and it won't lubricate the head properly.

Need valves on the two feeds to tune the flows. Might be tricky to tell which side needs adjusting until it's too late though.

Looks like it’s connected to the seat, and engine, not the rear swing arm or rear axle. Since those are the only two moving parts should be fine. Now dragging a knee on the other hand… lol
