    Got both sets based on your recommendations. LOVE them both. These ropes are everything you said they were and i believe its an essential tool for anyone looking to invest seriously into their jump rope fitness journey. Cant really say anything negative about either set. The get lean is the more flexible, and it feels just a tad heavier when going mid air through the rotations. Ropes are thinner with the speed set so they travel through the air faster making them feel much crispier. I get in the zone much faster with the speed set myself. Preference wise i just like speed a lot more than strength when it comes to skipping so i opt for the lighter ropes and just go for longer distances. Get lean is great for feedback and its as you say. If yuor just starting out and need that responsiveness more than speed. Get the lean, work on getting better at skipping, and then go into the speed set and add some speed to your new rhythm. But listen to the video--get both at some point. Really you cant go wrong with variety in any work out, and skipping rope is no different

      What's up Gary, it's great to hear from you again. I hope you're doing well. Even though they have many similar qualities, they both add value in different ways. Thanks again for your continued support! 🙏🏽💪🏽

    You broke this down perfectly because I have both sets and I love my 4oz Crossrope the most. But the 6oz & 3oz rope on the LE set love those ropes especially 3oz. Can't go wrong with either set but if I was starting I would pick regular crossrope.

      Thank you for watching, my brother. You're right. You can't go wrong with either set, although they both add value in slightly different ways. I appreciate your continued support, Brother Abram! 🙏🏽💪🏽

    Thanks so much for the video/information!
    If I may please ask for clarity: You have concluded that Slim (green/black/white) handles, Speed Performance (red/yellow/ purple/ black) handles, and WODprep handles differ only in external appearance. Weight and feel between the three handle types are virtually identical. It is the actual ropes in which we will find weight/feel differences. Have I interpreted correctly? Thanks much

    • @JumpRopeVeteran
      @JumpRopeVeteran  ปีที่แล้ว

      My pleasure. I'm glad you found it helpful. Thank you for your support. 🙏🏾
      You're correct in your interpretation. The handles listed are all the same. It's the ropes that are different. If you have one set of Slim Handles, you can use the ropes interchangeably with those handles so long as you don't try to use any of the ropes that weigh above 9 oz. with the Slim Handles. 💯

    I've got knots in my speed le set, figure 8 knots in the 3 oz & 6 oz and a normal knot in the 9 oz. It takes a little bit for it to finally stay in the lighter ones but they an stay. The only problem is that it kinks the ropes a lot more so you kind of have to commit to it l

      Hey Annabelle! Thanks for sharing. I hope all is well. A figure eight knot sounds cool. I've never tried that before.

    Have both, love both. Even bought some heavy handles to go with the 1/2lb and the 9oz rope for that little extra. My rhythm rope is on its way to the UK looking forward to that one. My only question as a beginner jumoper is, on light ropes such as the freestyle LE or in my case the JRD rope I really struggle to skip with it as the rope isn't weighted. Is it just a case of practice or is there a different technique? Many thanks for all the great content.

    • @JumpRopeVeteran
      @JumpRopeVeteran  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awesome. You'll enjoy the Rhythm Rope. It takes time to develop the coordination and timing. My advice is to keep building your confidence with the heavier ropes while working on some sets with the lighter ropes. Tying knots near the handle is another good option.

    Great review, man. Thanks for your input. Base on your experience, are there jump rope shoes that you would recommend in the market?

    • @JumpRopeVeteran
      @JumpRopeVeteran  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use Brooks Adrenalines and Ghosts. They're heavier but provide good stability and support. Here's the link if you're interested: amzn.to/2AR1byj

    Generally i m looking for a crossrope cord that will somehow similar to a standard 5mm pvc cord, just bit heavier..is there smth like this that will take slim handles? Way yoo many products there,too confusing..
    I got the 1/4 pound green rope and it not what i expected..

    • @JumpRopeVeteran
      @JumpRopeVeteran  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great question. The Crossrope Freestyle LE is probably your best bet if you're looking for a 5mm PVC rope.

  • @Christianvalentinbooks
    @Christianvalentinbooks 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you recommend buying the Speed Le if I already have the get lean set?

    • @JumpRopeVeteran
      @JumpRopeVeteran  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question. Not unless you want an extra set of slim handles, because the slim handles are the same. If you don't want an extra set of slim handles, just buy the rope attachments if they're available. The 6 and the 9 oz are great. The 3 oz is good for doubles. Thanks for your continued support. JRTF. 💪🏽✌🏽🥊

    I was doing some search on crossrope website..maybe i m wrong but 1/4 pound rope is lighter than 9 oz speed rope..so what is so speed about it i dont really understand..?
    I generally find 1/4 pound too heavy for me,it s ok for a workout but it s not really what i enioy using..so i was looking at lighter versions that are suitable to use with slim handles..

    • @JumpRopeVeteran
      @JumpRopeVeteran  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Excellent question. The Speed LE ropes are less flexible, which render them faster. The different weights across rope classes don't mean that they're faster to turn than the others. The 9 oz Speed LE feels heavier than the 1/4 lb Get Lean. If the 1/4 is too heavy for you, the 9 oz Speed LE rope will be too heavy for you as well.
