Sgurr a' Mhadaidh and Sgurr a' Ghreadaidh - What's it like?

  • How difficult is it for non-climbers to bag two of the most tricky Cuillin summits? Hopefully this shaky video will give a good impression. This was my first time out with a GoPro - mounted on a headband giving a close up view of the rock but with wide ranging views too. I am a very experienced mountaineer in the Highlands. This route is not for the novice but for those with 50 or so Munros under their belt it should be tackled with confidence.

      Haven't done the whole ridge. Most tricky for me was Pinnacle Ridge.

    Sweaty palms watching this. It`s way worse than Exorcist or The Omen! Fantastic guide for future route finding though.

      Thanks to Calling Allcars. I posted the video to give a taste of the route to those like me, who have worried for years about tackling these challenging mountains. I know the filming isn't great but I'm glad it helps.
