    Great stuff Paul. This is a great route and as you know i did this last month. A few tricky wee bits coming off of An Dorus but apart from that all good fun really. (Easy to say that after the event) 😂

    • @PAADVENTURES1
      @PAADVENTURES1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers Andrew! Yeah my footage of the tricky bits were just my GoPro bouncing against rocks! Not great!
      Fantastic mountains though and having now done them I wouldn’t be too bothered with a guide for these one’s provided the weather was ok!!! As you say easy after the event! Paul

    You did very well with your filming on this one. It certainly captures the challenge. Pleased for you that the weather did, indeed, improve to give great views. Congratulations on achieving your 200th Munro.

    Fan-tastic, a great day out Paul, some of the still shots are truly stunning. I bided my time for the Cullin as it was toward the end of my round and wanted to do in good weather. I enjoyed blue sky days and little wind which really helped as I did them solo. Looking forward to the next instalment, Paul

    • @PAADVENTURES1
      @PAADVENTURES1  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would have loved the weather to be nice and calm but still enjoyed the atmosphere the cloud and mist brings! Wow! Solo! I didn’t feel confident enough to do that! Did you have ropes and stuff or did you just scramble around yourself!! Kudos! 👍👍👍👍

    • @footprintsacrossscotland1417
      @footprintsacrossscotland1417 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PAADVENTURES1 just scrambled my way around! Got lucky with the inn-pin, got chatting with a couple of ladies who were being lead up by one of their husbands, they asked if I was going up? I said I would like to but would need assistance off. They shouted up to hubby and he said ok but I’d need to make my own way up. I agreed and was confident enough having approached the pin via an stac but standing at the bottom watching the ladies climb up I was starting to feel very nervous. Got up ok but what a time to try abseiling for the first time!

      @@footprintsacrossscotland1417 fantastic story! I don’t think for a first time I would have been confident enough to wing it like that! The scramble up Sgurr nan Gilean was a bit airy as well! After doing it once I might be tempted though!! I would love a go at the traverse 👍

    One of my favourite mountains on the ridge as ‘Greeta’ was my final Munro, I had done Maidaidh first, and then went on, all the way to Bannadaich. This is ridge walking at its best. Glad you had a bit of a view down to Coruisk, one of the finest from the ridge. Thanks for sharing!

    • @PAADVENTURES1
      @PAADVENTURES1  ปีที่แล้ว

      What a mountain to finish on! Two spectacular peaks and eventually we are getting some views! I think I will definitely do these again if I get the chance. How long ago did you complete your Munro round ? Have you done more than one? Paul
