So in terms of ride comfort, quietness and NVH, which one do you prefer for highway driving?
Also, in terms of HDA2 and LKA2 capability, are they about the same?
I cannot really comment about the highway drive because I've put neither of them. I did drive a lot of SF petrol, not hybrids. However, what I can comment is that HOD I've mentioned in the video, Hands-On Detection, which allows you to just put your two fingers or more on the steering wheel and the car will never ask you to put your hands on the steering wheel. Whereas, Sorento would constantly ask you to shake the steering wheel every now and then due to the torque feedback basis. This makes quite a lot of difference when driving/cruising down on a highway. HDA2 & LKA2, they are and should be about the same.
You said multiple times that there’s a noticeable difference between both vehicles but don’t mention those differences, which would be helpful for your audience to know

Although I love the sun roof of the Kia serento. But I will definitely choose Hyundai Santa Fe.

What I said about SF and Sorento each is essentially the difference. In a nutshell, Sorento is more sportier while SF is clearly geared towards being a family SUV. I will take the blame, didn't go much in detail giving you the differences. Hope you'd check out reviews on each car on my channel.

Thanks ! But have a hard time identifying 0-100 time for Sorento (camera zooms in so we don't see KPH). Would 8.5 sec for SantaFe Htrac make sense ? For Sorento..seems like it's more 8.0 sec but can't tell.

What are your thoughts on the turning radius in the Sante Fe compared to others you have driven?

I think the interior color combination of the 2024 Kia Sorento looks "brighter/more youthful and not dull", than the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe interior color combination. 🤔
Santa Fe does have bright interior too, but I agree with you on Sorento part :)

Is the ride smoother than last years model and is the suspension different than last year?
Can't really say since it's literally been years since I test drove the last model and the suspension, bushings will wear & tear, the newer one has got to be better in every single aspect.
Does the facelift of the Sorento now offers matrix led headlights?
I wasn't able to test it out during the night time 🥲 LED headlights, yes.
Does the full steering wheel heat up on both the santa fe and sorento?
Yep, it is quite hot🔥

Quite the opposite for me… in fact, expect the rear design, exterior of Santa Fe is quite good.
I think the rear has that classic yet modern look. Not quite retro. I love it. I think the all modern SUV's all look the same now. For the most part, I think, if you brought out a say new Chevy SUV and stuck a differnet badge on it, no-one would bat an eyelid!!! Korean designs in general are slightly different, ok. But I love that the Santa Fe is SOOO different. Same with my current car the Veloster 2013, very unique. Still love walking up to it every day

What’s the gas tank capacity?
67 liters.
Very difficult to understand those mileage ratings since early reviews indicated the Santa Fe would be similar to the Sorento.
Due to one being AWD, the other 2WD and also the weight.

Note current Santa Fe is already rated below Sorento for the hybrid trims. I was hoping that wouldn't continue.
What I've specified in the description is the precise company spec indeed. However, Santa Fe Hybrid 2WD gets better mpg than AWD, which is the same for Sorento hence the difference.
@@CarSceneKorea here, the AWD Sorento Hybrid gets several mpg better than current generation Santa Fe Hybrid, and those Santa Fe numbers suggest mileage won't improve in this generation, contrary to early reports.

That's not the 24 Sorento Hybrid, at least not what you get in America with a 24 Sorento Hybrid.
We got it and it's the same as the 23 Sorento Hybrid which I am not happy about. Same headlights, same interior, and no wireless Android Auto.

Santa Fe is definitely the winner. New model vs. Sorento facelift, it is hard for Kia to win. I think they could have done an early new model for the Sorento too to compete with the Santa Fe. It feels a bit outclassed now in space, luxury, and features. While Sorento is still a great car, I think Santa Fe has elevated itself to compete more with the Palisade.
