Can you tell a big difference between the acceleration in the hybrid and the not hybrid. I just want something that goes and quickly when I press the pedal especially when entering the highway.
Does the 2024 Santa Fe have a different digital key 2? Can the new key now lock and unlock the car without taking the phone out of your pocket? Can you please do a video on that? Thanks.
Hi, I've seen all your videos about the new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe and that car is gorgeous! However, I'm worried about what its starting price will be for the EU. I also wonder if the 2.5L petrol engine will be available for the EU market? Thank you and have a nice day.
Hyundai works quite differently depending on the regions. Hyundai Korea, USA, Europe are all different including which models they bring over and introduce. I know PHEVs are offered in some countries, which Korea never got. Hope the pricing would be nice, Hyundai has been thus far, so fingers crossed 🤞
Thank you for doing these videos! They have all been great! My wife is a HUGE KIA fan but the Hyundai Santa Fe is making her reconsider to wait for the Santa Fe! Many thanks again for these reviews
I own a 2023 Santa Fe Hybrid limited and it's a great vehicle, the hybrid and engine system produces 226hp which is adequate for the size. How does the new generation compare in performance as it is bigger and heavier than the 2023's?
It won't be easy to put it all in the writing and also comparing a brand new car to the previous model, too many uncontrolled factors. Simple answer is that there literally are thousands of people who have worked on the car to make it better than the last model and I am felt that 😉Specs of this model is as below: Specs for Santa Fe driven in the video: 2024 Hyundai All-New Santa Fe 1.6 Turbo AWD 235 PS, 37.4 kgf.m combined - 180 PS engine 27.0 kgf.m - 47.7 kW motor 265 Nm 13.0 km/L combined (30.6mpg) - City: 13.3km/L - Highway: 12.6km/L Calligraphy trim, 6 seater configuration
Is it possible for the camera to be active whilst driving forward at speed? I thought camera is only used for parking? Is there a built in dash camera as well, either standard or as an option?
Great video, thanks so much for this, I have a question about the spare tire, in previews models Hyundai have used the underneath space and a hoist to store the spare tire there. Maybe this has been asked before but. Do you have information about that? thanks again.
There will be one for the US(North American) market, but double check with your local dealership. It's been a while since Korean(domestic) models didn't get any spare tire. We just get the puncture kit for all latest HMG cars.
Excellent video. HTRAC has a woman in a Sportage hybrid and it works very well. It is comparable to my Subaru Outback. Now I'm just waiting for the Santa Fe to be sold in the Czech Republic. Hybrid AWD in Teracotta orange and light leather must have... 😀
Yet another great video, can't wait to get my hands on one of these. Being that this car is being sold as a family automobile, how come it does not have a hitch in the back, or does it?
Excellent video! I love my Hyundai but have always been concerned how the HTRAC will handle in snow. I am a former Subaru owner and had no issue in snow with them.
Honest question looking for an honest answer…would you recommend the EV9 or the Santa Fe Hybrid? I have the IONIQ5 and just want more range. Struggling to seek myself going back to fueling but I also know a hybrid model highway drive can get you 800km?!?
Honest answer here, EV9 of course. Much more expensive, roomier, bigger, flagship EV SUV, what is there to compare? However, if you factor in the money, charging environment, your lifestyle around the car, etc., Santa Fe Hybrid might check a whole lot more boxes :)
Never been a fan of Hyundai until now! Looking to trade in my 22 Tundra truck for an SUV since I have a baby coming and I miss having an SUV. Wanted something that can handle snow/mud and looks different. Was thinking to get the 4runner but gas sucks. Then, looked at Toyota Grand Highlander and I was like, it looks okay. Fyi, Toyota has brake noise issues from my wife previous Rav4 and now my 22 Tundra truck! Pretty sad. Thinking to lean forward this Hyundai more over the Kia 2024. Thanks for the videos!
As a owner of 2 Hyundais, a 24 Tucson, And a 24 Palisade (Use to have a 22 with 40k miles, traded it in because the new ones were a lot nicer, no problems though) I never had one single problems with any and they are great. I can recommend
@carSceneKorea In one of your videos I think you did a moving shot across the underside of the Santa Fe and it looked like it had some protection built on. Is there some sort of skid plates?
I am not sure which one you are referring to 🥲 There is a lip-like front cover underneath the front bumper, which rubs and makes noise to let the driver know you are about to scrape the bottom.
@@CarSceneKorea I can't seem to find it, so maybe it wasn't your video, but there's an idea for your next review! I'd love to see a more detailed overview of the undercarriage including: is there a space for a spare tire underneath like the old Santa Fe?
Gorgeous! Appreciate all these great videos. They've been teasing me for several months lol. Can't wait to see it in the local market. One quick question for you, what's the price difference between Hybrid / 2.5T top trim? Is there any equipment difference? Thank you!
As of 2024, the price of the new Hyundai Santa Fe 2.5 Turbo model ranges from KRW 35,460,000 to KRW 45,960,000, while the price of the hybrid model ranges from KRW 38,880,000 to KRW 50,360,000. The price difference between the two models is from KRW 342,000 to KRW 440,000. You can get Black Ink Edition which is top of the line Santa Fe Calligraphy on both of them, so there isn't much difference I can pinpoint atm except for the powertrain.
OMG! why hyundai don't sell in every country. this car is looks so good and hi Performance. I want drive in Japan! Thankyou for wonderful video! 😊😊😊 I feel Seouls winter. it beautiful and fan!! I must go Seoul again.
@CarSceneKorea, the next time , can you do the following, turn off all the exterior lighs, set climate control to 65 degree F (18.3 celcius), sit inside the car , turn off all the interior lights, and let us know how often does the engine start when you have only climate control running on the battery . Also can you open the trunk thru the remote and or the APP when you are sitting/sleeping in the trunk area thanks
Will do if I do another video on Santa Fe, but the future is grim atm 🥲As for the engine shutting off and turning back on, it really depends on a multiple things it seems. The engine won't run back on even at lower temperature sometimes, probably bc the engine was hot enough. As for the trunk and remote part, if any other Hyundai cars do it, I don't see any reason not to for SF.
@@johntojohn1 Sorento doesn't have it either. The only car that has is thus far is IONIQ 6 and Tucson facelift. Wonder how Tucson got it first amongst all the SUVs.

At first, your videos affect my decision to buy that boxy mx5 g 2.5 turbo black ink white pearl. Thank you. But question? Was this video made voluntarily without any financial support from Hyundai/Kia Motors? I feel it is basic to reveal that first.
Thank you!
As of 2024, the price of the new Hyundai Santa Fe 2.5 Turbo model ranges from KRW 35,460,000 to KRW 45,960,000,
while the price of the hybrid model ranges from KRW 38,880,000 to KRW 50,360,000.
The price difference between the two models is from KRW 342,000 to KRW 440,000.
You can get Black Ink Edition which is top of the line Santa Fe Calligraphy on both of them, so there isn't much difference I can pinpoint atm except for the powertrain.
What is the measurement in inches for the tallest box that can slide into the rear storage area . Thank you
If you could refer to my earlier video please.
Do you have the real life fuel economy figures for stop and go traffic on this Santa Fe Hybrid AWD?
I didn't drive it for long, but many reviewers got figures above the proposed. I rarely get those numbers not just with SF, but all haha
Is this car reliable ?
OMG! why hyundai don't sell in every country.
this car is looks so good and hi Performance.
I want drive in Japan!
Thankyou for wonderful video!
😊😊😊
I feel Seouls winter.
it beautiful and fan!!
I must go Seoul again.
Seoul is always here for you :) Thanks for watching, hope Hyundai would perform different this time in Japan!
Does this hybrid have different regen modes when in Eco and using the paddle shifters, like it's on the new Tucson and Kona hybrids?
Yep, has 5 different levels from 0 to 3 including Auto. I went over this on the last video which will come next.
As for the trunk and remote part, if any other Hyundai cars do it, I don't see any reason not to for SF.
is there a santa fe plug in hybrid version coming to US.. like Rav 4 Prime please research room mode.. that feature is needed
@@CarSceneKorea
hey, I have a question about the front lights. Does the santa fe have smart high beams like the new tucson or some other type of matrix lights?
LED lights yes and auto highbeam, but not the IFS (Intelligent Front Light System).
It's a bit of a shame. Do you know when they will introduce these functions? After the lifting?
And the same question about the new sorento 2024? What lights does it have?
@@johntojohn1 Sorento doesn't have it either. The only car that has is thus far is IONIQ 6 and Tucson facelift. Wonder how Tucson got it first amongst all the SUVs.
please test Kia Sorento and Carnival
What trim is this?
Calligraphy, loaded options.
still not enough Santa Fe coverage, more pls!! 😆
Did you check out the pinned comment?🤣 I think I have more Santa Fe videos than Hyundai TH-cam channel 💀💀💀
@@CarSceneKorea i did and i already watched them all, and still not enough, i just loving the car and your coverage, keep it up! 👍
@@flows30 Haha, thanks a ton! Really appreciate it :) Check out my message to all viewers at the end of today's video, goes out to you as well :)
i hope it comes to Belgium soon
It typically takes about six months to reach other parts of the globe 🥲
more more Santa Fe coins!
Yeahhhh let's go 💀💀💀
Nice video for real
Glad you think so!
The beginning when you was turning the wheel crazily 😂
Demonstration of no grip I had on the mud :P
ㅋㅋㅋㅋ재밌게 보고있습니다 산타페 영상이 엄청 많아서 신기하네요
좀..많죠..?
you always have great videos with Hyundai, thanks for sharing
Glad you like them!
Question what transmission is in the 2025 Tucson hybrid
6spd auto for domestic Korean models, not sure about overseas.
@@CarSceneKorea ok here to for 2024s before the face lift
well, love the R33-GTR
Finally! Someone pointed the car out 👀😘
Hey man.. its not 2.5T ??
No 2.5T hybrids exist, at least for now 😉
Yeah.. a bit noisy this one, dont you think ? 2.T think will have better sound.
I want you to demonstrate the smart park on the 2025 Hyundai Tucson
There isn't one, just a pull & push on Tucson.
@CarSceneKorea what I am talking about is the ability to pull it in and out with out a driver behind the wheel in tight spots
What I am talking about is the ability to pull out or in to a tight spot with out you behind the wheel
That sure is possible and piece of a cake for HMG cars :)
Next, the Off-Road test for a slightly more demanding and challenging level. 🤔 And also in the coming summer.
Not that many places to go in Korea 🥲 It will also be illegal in most cases 😱
@@CarSceneKorea-Ok.
한국어 버전으로 영상 올려주실수 있나요?
제 모든 영상에는 자막(cc)이 작업되어 있습니다 와이프와 촬영할때 한국어로 제작합니다! 부족한 영상 시청해주셔서 감사합니다 😭
10:53 to 10:58 this is why my mom always told me when you grow up drive with two hand. Because he did not drive with two you drive no hands and almost crash.
I was just demonstrating how slippery the road was, it's not counter-steering nor slipping ;)
At first, your videos affect my decision to buy that boxy mx5 g 2.5 turbo black ink white pearl. Thank you. But question? Was this video made voluntarily without any financial support from Hyundai/Kia Motors? I feel it is basic to reveal that first. If this is an insult to the creator's purity and passion, I sincerely apologize. Nevertheless, I want to know.
That'd be my dream come true, get paid from manufacturers reviewing their cars :)
Thank you so much. Therefore I'll give you my deeply soared respect. So thank you.
that Santa fe looks like it hold it ground
I test drove one a week ago. It felt and sounded like if I was driving a lawnmower. Now I know why it’s so inexpensive.
I did notice it does get loud from time to time on the outside, but no so much the inside though 😕
Off road? You mean off topic. Off road means getting off the asphalt buddy 😂
True, I knew what was coming 🤣 Did test out the Terrain modes though, real difference.
@@CarSceneKorea 🤣👍
are you serious ? :DD and where is that offroading ? :D :D :D :D
I tried..🤣
driving like idiot in town isnt off road :D :D :D
It is quite off-roady here in Korea 🥲
@@CarSceneKorea no u drive on road
