    I have the Sportage Hybrid.
    My last two cars were Toyotas. Honestly, compared to Toyotas the Sportage DOESN'T seem outdated .
    I did not intend to buy a KIA . However , when I drove it I absolutely loved it.
    My friends were saying " they are junk don't buy one".
    They are definitely not junk.
    All of them that called them junk that have rode in my Sportage were surprised at how nice it drives .
    I love my Sportage. I think it's beautiful.
    The Tucson looks really nice too. I am still happy with my choice .

      I agree, I traded in my 2020 Honda CR-V for 2024 Sportage SX & I adore it!
      had a Toyota RAV4 prior to Honda & I am still very Happy with my choice.
      KIA's have come a long way, all around.

    I recently had my Tucson Hybrid N-Line delivered, amazing car and i am looking forward to driving it for years. The reason for buying Tucson is that I like the model over the Sportage and the dealerschip is excellent, a small family dealerschip with lots of attention for the customers instead of a dealer who only wants to sell, looking forward to all your videos, greetings from Belgium

    Being between the Sportage and Tucson FL right now... Sportage was my first choice before the Tucson fl but now i think im going for the Tucson. Firstly for the updated interior. Love that new design with the space due to the shifter being on the steering wheel. Also IFS, HUD, the new cleaner screen and the software, more buttons for controls instead of the captive buttons in the Sportage makes me choosing the Tucson. Love the look of the Sportage more though 😅. Of course the sportage facelift is around the corner... Will be for sure astounding if they do something similar to the interior. Thanks for all the videos very informative and thorough.

    Thankyou for making videos that go into details and subjective comparisons that none of the other Consumer Education Auto Assessment Experts delve in to. The only thing I need to know now, before choosing a 2025 Tucson Hybrid, or a Sportage Hybrid this fall, is which of the two is the most comfortable for driver and passenger on long (+500 mile) trips. Under butt and thigh cushioning is most important for long trips when you're over age 50. If the 2025 Santa Fe receives a better looking back end, I'll get that hybrid. I have a 2020 Santa Fe now. 115,000 miles and starting to burn oil....like my 2015 Sonata did after 100,000 miles. Hopefully the Hybrids will not have that "problem".

    • @CarSceneKorea
      @CarSceneKorea  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Between Tucson and Sportage, I'd say there isn't much difference. However, all-new Santa Fe? I'd go with SF any time. The all-new SF came out real nice, the gap bw Tucson and SF is quite big in my opinion.

    Hello there,
    I think it is also some difference around the sound absorption within the vehicle because your mic sounds different between the KIA and the Hyundai but maybe it is related due to mic placement,

    • @CarSceneKorea
      @CarSceneKorea  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you did notice that, props! The mic was actually placed precisely the same position since I use wireless mic, didn't move it at all between two test drives. Used same video gear to record, so it could be the different driving course, but other than that, the difference we get from the video is real and raw.

    Great review. Love the look, updates to exterior and especially the interior, tech, ride, handling, price etc. However, the only thing I would change is to 1. raise the turn signals at the back HIGHER, closer to the light bar and 2. a minor detail but the key fob looks like it's from the 80's. The Kia key fob looks WAY better. Small detail, but I'm surprised Hyundai didn't do a better job with the key fob design. Otherwise, it's a home run imo..

    I have a kia sportage hybrid 2023. Its a great car except a few things.
    1 - when coming to a near complete stop, there is a second lag before i can move forward again or i have to completely stop and sit for a split second.
    2 - the center console is great but the curvy cup holder on one side can be flattened out.
    3 - the auto liftgate opener is a little annoying. If you get out of the car and stand near the back it attempts to open. If you stand there intentionally wanting to auto open it takes too long. No win situation, i do prefer the foot kick sensor in cars.
    I see number 2,3 exists. Wonder if they addressed 1

    Another great video so thank you. I’m on the verge of choosing my next car having driven VW Touran model for over 15 years. I was 99.9% certain it will be the Sportage but now I’ve seen this video it’s making me have a rethink. The main deal breaker for me would be the outdated indicator / turn signal of the Tucson in its low position on the bumper as in the UK tailgating is a real thing and trying to turn that light won’t be visible. I wish the Tuscon had the higher indicator like the Sportage, then it would be the best. Thanks

    How long and fast can tucson hybrid go only on electric power? Can you somehow turn EV mode on and force it to go on electric power until battery is empty, or it would start gas engine over some speed or after some time? For example, I have part on my work->home journey where there is a bridge ~2 km long where I rarely can go over 30 km/h. Can I tell him to use only electric and not to trn gas engine?

    • @CarSceneKorea
      @CarSceneKorea  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Simply put, no, you cannot manually control the EV mode. The car does everything on its own and it's dependent on its surrounding and condition of the car, etc. One thing I can tell you for certain is that it'd be very difficult to drain the battery lower than 50% The car actively charges the battery once it hits around 50% Think the car will use more EV modes when weather is fit for EVs.

    Owner of a Sportage hev here. The European version comes with matrix lights which automatically adjust and “protect” the other cars in traffic. Unless the Tucson is using digital leds lights (the new generation) I don’t think it is a difference to the ones from the Sportage. I am not sure if all the markets receive these headlights from the sportage though.

    Over the past 1,5yrs I've grown towards choosing a Sportage as a new company car(choice still to be made). I liked it more than the Tuscon, design wise and interior(I didn't like all the folds in the door panels and the front end. Also liked the dashboard of the Sportage more). But seeing a facelifted Tuscon, especially the N-line, with the new front and interior, I might just go for the Tuscon. Especially in White, with a black roof. Regards from The Netherlands.

    Though I prefer the current iteration of the Tucson interior from a design perspective, I also like the capacitive buttons for the sleek look and there as there are no crevices to collect dust or dirt. I'm living in South America, and we are literally getting almost 2 years old models as the latest just because of the consumer level not being that demandant as well as the country itself being under-developed. So given that, I would ask your opinion about which brand's engine would you recommend considering models [of both brands] of 2 years back. I'm not mentioning any specific model to avoid the channel and the community getting any kind of problem.

    Great video, Thank you. However, I do have a few questions even tho it might sound strange to some ppl.
    1. Could you PLEASE PLEASE let me know in detail (perhaps a separate video if it's easier) the AC HAVC system performance between the two vehicles, from cooling, blower fan output and temperature, Max/recirculating AC performance, Cooling Seat temperature drop and air flow from the time you turn it on(Cooling seats are offered on Kia Sportage hybrid "SX-Prestige" and Hyundai Tucson Hybrid "Limited" models which are the 2 models I'm interested in)....etc? (please keep in mind I'm in a very hot climate area and AC cooling/performance is extremely important)
    2. The 2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid LIMITED model does NOT come with USB-C plugs, instead it comes with a few regular USB plugs. On the other hand, 2024 KIA Sportage SX-Prestige comes with a few USB-C plugs. Does 2025 Hyundai Tucson LIMITED offer USB-C with their new interior technology changes or still come with regular USB plugs?
    3. Did you happen to test or monitor the MPG fuel usage between these two 2025 vehicles by any chance on different mode driving? If yes, which of the two got a better MPG? (I believe for 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited(or possibly all Tucson Hybrid trim models), Hyundai has changed the battery output delivery compared to their 2024 Tucson Hybrid models, which MIGHT help the MPG fuel usage overall performance on this 2025 Tucson Hybrid, of course I'm not 100% sure. I know Hyundai did NOT change the battery size or anything, just the way it delivers the electric power which could help MPG usage).
    4. 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid SX-Prestige offers a 360-viewing angle of the car, however 2024 Hyundai Tucson Limited does NOT offer the 360-viewing even tho it has cameras all around the vehicle like Kia Sportage does. Does 2025 Hyundai Tucson Limited with their new interior technology design offer 360-viewing now, or still doesn't?
    5. I know you mentioned BOTH of these 2025 vehicles are very quiet on the inside. My question is, which of these two 2025 models do you think is quieter if you would test them with a sound noise measuring device? Thank you
