    Thank you very much! I saved your video in a playlist for future references, because I still tend to forget all the different ways to select vertices, lines and faces. However, there is one way of selecting that I see in some tutorials, but I can't find any information on how to actually do it. For example on spheres or cubes vertices and lines of a plane form a "circle" around the object. How do I select all the lines and vertices of those "circles" at once? At the moment, I have to shift+lmb my way around an object.. But there must be a better way to do it?

      Can you describe in more detail what the disabled buttons look like? Are they greyed out? Are you using the numbers on the keypad or the numbers running along the top of the keyboard?

    hey, i am wondering how to select whole piece of mesh of vertices? for example if you double click one vertex of one piece of mesh in maya, it automatically selects whole connected vertices which is just one whole mesh. not the entire objects.
    - nevermind. I figured. Answer is L key. and Ctrl +,- key you can grow ur selection or reduce lol

    yeah well why sometimes i lasso a face it selects every face that i only slightly lassoed - and then other times when i lasso a face it only selects a face if its entirely within the lasso. seems kinda fundamental right?

    • @MichaelBullo
      @MichaelBullo  ปีที่แล้ว

      Perform the same lasso action for all three modes (Vertex, Edge and Face) and you should see the difference.

    How do you manually type in the vertex location? Moving things around with the mouse is far to imprecise.

    • @MichaelBullo

      While in Edit mode and with a vertex(s) selected, press the N key to open up the Sidebar. Within the Transform section of the Item tab you'll see the XYZ coordinates for the vertex(s).
