Bro you just opened a whole new level for me
Thank you so much. Really easy to follow, and loved that you explained how to make a new face along with cutting.
Glad to know that it was helpful! 😊
Ugh, thank you. I have looked for weeks, using several programs to simply cut geometric shapes from my 3d models. This is the simplest, most succinct.
We're very glad to know that it helped you 😊
short, simple and the demonstration is the bare basic. Excellent! Helped me a lot!
Thank you so much! Great to hear that 💝💝💝
Method 2 is just what I was looking for!
probaly 1 of the best tutorials i've ever seen, im new to blender and this really helped, thx!
Glad to know that you found it useful!
Thanks for the quick but informative tutorial, I wanted to cut a cylinder object in half but didn't know how but after watching this video I now know. Thanks!
Really glad to know that it helped you 🙂
Thank you so much! I never knew about the boolean modifier!
Straight forward, no convoluted steps. I like it
Thank you bro 💝
Thank you so much method 1 is really simple and i see most people use the bisect
Excellent, direct to the point, amazing tutorials!!!
Thank you 💝 Glad you liked them!
One of the clearest tutorials. Thanks!!!
Glad it was helpful! Cheers! 😊
Thanx, it was fast and clean, and not using any paid add-ons (like many other videos on to cut a piece from a box)
Glad it helped 😊 Cheers!
Muy bueno!!! estoy aprendiendo y tus tutoriales son excelentes, gracias!! Te ganaste un suscriptor nuevo!!
Me alegra saber que nuestros tutoriales te ayudaron a aprender algo. Muchas gracias 💝
Hi all your tutorials and tips are amazing...It would be great if you could do a tutorial about the best blender settings for sculpting
Thanks! Yes, we will create a tutorial on sculpting.
Method 1 works perfect thank you so muck
thanks. It tooks me 10 minutes to realize, if the object, you want to cut off, is smaller than the original, you wont see the difference, because it is hidden inside :D
Ha ha 😂 True !!
I just found your channel it is really treasure for beginners like me, Thank you very much!
1:53 in this clip, did you know that when you press Alt+Z it will automatically turn on the wireframe which allows you to select the surface from both sides. whether you are in solid or wireframe moad.
Thank you so much for the appreciations! Yes, Alt+Z turns on the X-ray mode (you can also enable this from the toolbar just left to where we have wireframe view / solid view mode). It can be very useful, or very dangerous depending upon your model. We may end up selecting parts of an object that we do not intend to select. So I avoided showing the use of x-ray, because someone who is new to Blender may get a wrong result and may not even know why that happened. Of course X-ray selection can be very handy most of the time. Thanks for sharing this!
Very cool tried it myself and worked :)
Great video! Thanks!
Super simple and useful, thank you!!
I'm really glad that it helped! 😊💝💝
Thank you sir for saving my time to search & scrolling on the youtube❤❤
Great! I'm glad that it helped 😊
Wow, this is a great video. Keep the great job up.
Very glad to know that you found this tutorial useful 💝
thanks man, 1st option is the best and fastest. sometimes after boolean modifier the model with lots of polygons might look edgy, edge split modifier fixes that. So I often use it in pair.
Good tip! Thank you!
The best blender tutorials ever
Thank you so much 💝💝
Jesus christ this should win a fucking grammy & become the new standard.
How you SHOWN the steps AGAIN to make it clear about the new faces.. fucking bravo.
Normally you have to rewind and fuck it all up.
Thanks man.
Thank you bro, for this nice appreciation! It means a lot 💝💝

Thanks a lot for your appreciation bro 💝💝 I am also just a learner, learning new things everyday, we die when we stop learning 😊
omg tnaks so much
Thank you for informative video. Is it possible to make it with stl file in to cube for example? Thank you
Yes, if you can import the stl file into Blender, rest of the process is the same. The import may not always work for all models, because it is a cross-platform issue - but mostly it works for simple models.
Thank you so much for your reply@@5MinutesBlender
This really helped me
Glad it was helpful! 😊
this worked out great. just one slight problem. hair particles are where they shouldnt be. just kinda floating where the object used to exist
I guess this is due to duplicate vertices. However, it may not be as well because beveling is tricky - and sometimes it causes very weird issues that are difficult to fix. Even I have experienced this sometimes.
thank you for this!
Happy to help you bro!
@@5MinutesBlender I'm a film maker who has recently started using Blender, since I realized you can build 3D worlds with it. I'm building a Crusader castle currently based on images of actual ones. And this trick gave me the ability to make the windows in the towers. I'll go through your videos to see if you have anything on how to apply multiple materials to an object or building to make it look more real.
That's nice! I am happy to know that you started with Blender. We made some tutorials on various aspects of materials, you can find them in this playlist 👉 th-cam.com/play/PLtV6EPHDRNQJG_Dp8AgipRizpi6nEk97G.html Although there are many more topics that are yet to be covered and we do have a plan to include them in near future. Particularly for applying multiple materials to an object, I think you will need to learn about UV mapping if not done already. You can apply materials without UV mapping as well, but it won't be realistic in most of the cases. Tutorials th-cam.com/video/fthcqufSA3U/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/0iJNDBH5iFk/w-d-xo.html can be of some help here!
Great!
Thank you!
It absolutely blows my mind that this software is free

Is Boolean ok with it’s mesh flow for 3D printing ?
Yes, apply the modifier before you send it for printing.
thank you so much. this is basic but I don't know, because I am beginner................. ^^
Glad to know that it helped you 🙂 Wish you all the best in your animation career!
@@5MinutesBlender I will try the best as I can, Thank you again ^^
nice
life saver
Thank you buddy!
nothing happens in method one for me (edit so I was accidentally putting a hole in the wrong mesh so I didn't see but the mesh that's getting cut needs the boolean)
Okay, seems it is now resolved. If still facing any difficulties, please feel free to write us back. All the best!
