"it's okay, i incapacitated him. the ground however, well that's on gravity."
Most stealth games only count a kill if you physically take part in it. Tranq someone while in water? Yeah, that's on you. Someone gets run over by one of their allies? It's not on you. Someone gets blown up because of one of their allies? That one is iffy. Could be your fault, or it may not be.
Thank you so much. I did that mission three times trying to get this trophy and got 1 kill each time. You showed me where I messed up. I didn't move any of the bodies before fighting the vehicle.
Thanks this was a big help!! I was doing it the hard way using the assault rifle ..got the timing down 5 single shots with the ar won't kill them but incapacitate them. Actually screwed up an d got 1 kill on the tank and stumbled upon this vid...I so did. Not know that the pistol was a stun gun til this. Felt quite silly afterwards. Btw did anyone else notice that the guy you end up rescuing is none other than Hideo kojima himself?! Lol
Btw Anthony..the walkthrough uploaded was recorded by one the finest stealth players you will see on TH-cam. If you doubt this, check our Splinter Cell playlist, and you will see him in action. Stealth games=no casualties for Alex.Quite funny! :))) He has the patience to learn and apply the right tactics.
Yea I figured it out just didn't say anything about it. But yea the game actually took into consideration the anticipation of placing shots in moving vehicles.
This is fricking impossible to get, it showed zero kills, but because either kojima runs over atleast one guy with the truck or one of the guys drives themselves off a cliff or into a barrel they don't count the kill on my statistic since it said 0 kills, but apparently the achievement does count it.
I don't know what to say about this. If you look in the video I shot the guy from the helicopter and he certainly died after he fell from the helicopter, so I don't think the kills done by others count. However, you could kill some soldiers by mistake when you are taking out the APC.
I moved them out of the way just like u did, I had done the mission 2 times before and didn't understand what I had done wrong, the just to be safe I followed this video exactly and still no achievement. But I also didn't get the infiltration achievement or the achievement for completing all the mission in the game so maybe something is wrong with xbox live or the game itself. Problem is now the missions are registrerd to my Gamertag that I've done the mission as requested so not sure if I should try and reinstal the game or something.
Maybe you should try to delete your savegame and start over. And don't forget to backup. I, for example, made backups for both the savegame and my gamertag after every mission.

For the first part your argument sucks because this is for a trophy.
Second part yeah. He'll survive somehow
xOptoger trophy or not, the system that governs the "stealth" and scoring still deems their death as your fault
This may be the only mission where this occurs. In the main mission, for example, if someone is run over by an enemy, it does not count as your kill.

Compleated this misson 3 times with zero kills and I still get no achievement! I am convinced this is glitched!

I got a kill accidentally by firing a rocket too close to the tank at the end. Such bull :(

Technically you just stun him, it isn't your fault that he's not anchored well inside the helicopter :P
