So I caved in and bought AC VI on Steam and this game is absolutely flawless on Steam Deck. Absolutely love it. Was able to clear the tutorial boss with relative ease. The controls are so smooth. Absolutely 10/10.
I’ll need to double check mine but if you play on low settings and bump Anti-aliasing to high, it really improves the image quality from the pixilated mess and holds a really good frame rate
I have it on console will wait to a full verification before I get it on Steam. Will definitely get it on Steam. But I’m enjoying my console version. Absolutely loving the game. If you were fortunate to have played AC V on PS3, just know that it more than delivers. Fantastic game!

That's the only company left where I still pay for preorder . I mean these guys deliver every single time. Yeah the game is a bit short but they are also not selling it for 80£ . I was a bit scared with Elden Ring when they advertised the accessibility, but god damn it, they still delivered that one too. They deserves every cent.

I noticed that when I’m in the customization menu. The battery starts to drain very quickly. I figure it’s because it’s rendering the mech in higher detail?
uhhh... i was thinking about getting a steam deck since they are like 400 quid in my area right now, but 29fps in armored core is a massive turn off. id rather play this game on 720p
I used to have a Steam Deck, then I changed it for a Rog Ally. This game runs on the Ally at a nearly constant 60FPS (some deeps into the high 40FPS) with 720p and a 20W TDP with most of the settings on high. Could you make a comparison between the Steam Deck and Rog Ally? Maybe people would like it (I certainly would 🤓).
It’s a mech game. What were you expecting? Green landscapes and blue skies? Also it’s running on a handheld, of course it’s not gonna run as good as on console or PCs

the game has branching paths up to new game plus 2, as well as arena matches and PVP. i think it's well worth the price
