      Hopefully in a few weeks. Have been working on my daughters Hummer in the mean time and have a couple of my buddies cars in the shop also. They are taking up all my space. It's -1 today in Oklahoma and I like to think I am tough but working outside in those conditions is no bueno. Hopefully will get the F100 back in the shop soon. Thanks for watching.

    i picked up a 70 3/4 ton ranger full chrome trim tool box on side with dana 60/80 lockers rust free clean body for 250 bucks . then picked up for free a 70 motor home class c with a bad trans but had a 428 in it with rose etched trim in the interior, power steering, power breaks, cruise control, tilt wheel, tach in dash, wiper delay, ac everything bolts right on even the steering box just need the drop arm then i traded 2 chevy pu doors for a set of new 16.5 rims so i can put military tires on it which i can get for 25 bucks a tire with 70% tread on them 36.5 x 16.5 off a military hummer . then i traded a 92 broke down cutless for a good running 390 till i get the 428 built

    Hey there, awesome videos on this truck? Any chance you could tell me what rims/tires you are running? The more detail the better please, I am building a 1970 f100 4x4 very similar. Thanks!

      I am running the stock ford 16 inch rims along with 315/75/R16's. Crosswind M/T LT 315/75R16 E (10 Ply) MT Mud Terrain Tires from Priority Tire to be exact. Run around 175 depending on sales. They fit nicely and only rub when on extreme turn. Great tires though and ride nicely. Will have another video coming out in the next week or so on this truck. Then selling. Thanks for watching.

      Yup.. I'm building a f100 myself and looking for a similar wheel and tire. I currently have some wide centerlines on 33s I believe

    Buenas modificaciones, el cajetin de direccion, los espirales de la suspencion, para mi gusto la levantaron mucho en la carroceria, pero lo demas esta hermosa esa F-100 una belleza..

    If you take out the body lift will you still be able to run 35?

    • @SimplybEpic
      @SimplybEpic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      First, thanks for watching and commenting. I agree, I am a little nervous about taking the body lift off. I think it will be ok but will be diving into it in the next month. Have to fix the floorpan and front cab mounts first and then will take the body lift off. Thanks.

      @@SimplybEpic I watched all the vids. Great work!! Did you change the stock 3.50 gears, or does it do good with the 35" tires?

    • @SimplybEpic
      @SimplybEpic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@diyjeff1838 no left everything the same. Seems to do great with the larger tires. I literally just finished a 390 swap on that truck about 2 hours ago. Neighbor wanted an upgrade so I obliged. New motor is very strong. Makes it even a more fun vehicle to drive. Also installed electric power steering for him. Very cool set up. Will try to make a video on soon.

    Great video! Is red head really worth the extra 200 bucks? Just finished our 4 inch lift and Y to T linkage conversation. And now it's time for a new gear box. Any discount code or channel affiliated codes when purchasing from Red head?

    • @SimplybEpic
      @SimplybEpic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry, I don't have any discount codes. Just not a big enough channel yet but, hopefully in the future. I would recommend the redhead though. I have put a "stock" box on other trucks before and the difference between the redhead and stock was noticeable. The Red Head just felt better in general. Just my experience of course but hope it helps. Thanks for watching and good luck with your project!!

    What lift did you use? If any?
    Want to lift my 72 f100 4x4 2.5 inches

    • @SimplybEpic
      @SimplybEpic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To my knowledge, it was a Ranco 4-inch lift. It came on the truck, so don't have the specifics. Good luck, and thanks for watching and commenting.

    Better ride!!!??? BULL YOU STILL HAVE OLD ROUGH RIDE LEAF SPRINGS!! TRY 4 Link triangulated rear suspension.

    • @SimplybEpic
      @SimplybEpic  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, no doubt a 4 link would be better but it did seem to ride better with the upgrades I did. I suspect most to it came from the taller, softer compound tires. Thanks for watching and commenting.
