Beulah, Colorado - History & Information - #21/100

Located in a lush mountain valley, Beulah was well-known in the Old West as the perfect hideout. Impenetrable from both a legal and physical standpoint, outlaws sought shelter there, and today isn't much different as Beulah is the perfect place to hide from the summer heat! Averaging 20 degrees cooler than the nearby plains, many visit the area to enjoy the comfortable weather and beautiful scenery. (April 8, 2023)

Good job on the video...
Suprised to see Beulah is still the same as it did nearly 40 years ago..
We spent 6 weeks there while doing geology field camp around the hills and valleys..
The Beulah Inn is still around. 😮

Good video. You should have stopped in the coffee shop...the owner is quite a unique character. :) The firehouse is also state of the art and huge, which is a bonus for locals.

I think we passed by just outside of business hours but next time we'll definitely check it out! That new firehouse is nice too!

Great video, I especially love the history section. I knew about the Confederate camp near Beulah but not about the capture and execution of this Reynolds character. I'll have to dig deeper.

Thank you! I truly was surprised with all of it as I didn't know anything about Beulah's background before this. Talk about wrong assumptions! I found the info about Reynolds on this site:
