Relaxed with time, Pueblo is still a major metropolitan area in the Front Range, but less expensive and quieter than other Colorado cities. Revival of their downtown area, and an abundance of outdoor recreation ...

Enjoyed, and too expensive for the average person ,, ....
TRICARE!
My mother is from Canon City; my grandparents on my mother's side lived there. My grandfather worked as a prison guard at the prison there. Canon City is the Walla Walla of Colorado.
With Pike and Medano pass, I'm surprised you didn't mention the sand dunes😮😢
I live in trinidad colorado
Great video!
Awesome job once again
Thank you to you and your family for documenting these towns.
Back in 1968, while working at a summer camp near there, visited BV and ate at the H.Burger stand there, a couple of times. Hitchhiked there, no less. What times. Thanks.
Enjoyed
Woodland Park used to be such a nice little town until that Bible College moved in and priced everyone out. What a shame.
Walsenburg is a pleasant Colorado town and one I recall from my first time passing through it in 1968. I've driven through it many times since but never have stopped (except for gas) because after driving 3 days from the southeast I'm ready to get to my first Colorado destination, usually somewhere along the Conejos River near Antonito. If I could relocate to Colorado, Walsenburg or Trinidad would be my first choices...well, maybe BV or Salida, I don't know.
Lotta history in Trinidad, including all the time Mother Jones spent there during the infamous Ludlow massacre.
Thanks for the history lesson on the BV area. I've enjoyed several summer vacations around Salida, BV, Leadville and St. Elmo doing volunteer work on the Colorado Trail in the Collegiates with the Colorado Trail Foundation. Spent a very pleasant noon time in the BV town park a few years ago for lunch, sorting, organizing and repacking backpack gear for a few days of fly fishing on the Ark and some of it's tribs. I really enjoy your informative reviews of the towns in Colorado.
Enjoy your detailed reviews of these Colorado towns that I have, and will certainly, pass through.
Really nice just as you describe. I feel that being there to know and enjoy the place. Thank you so much from Guaymas, port of Sonora, northwest of México.
Always looking forward to your comments!
I live in Colorado so I go there a lot
Great job with history and pictures to go along with the this episode. Where did you get the pictures for this episode?
I’m sorry but this place is wack. Was stuck here for 5 years through a job and it sucked.. dirty people galore.. needles in parking lots. Town was just pointless to me. Nothing ever to do unless you drove a couple hours away.. the lakes were nice but hell no I swear I was in a crap hole. People literally here have no driven lives… maybe a few but for the most part they live off welfare and bs.. wack! glad I’m back home in FL now permanently.
Thanks for your show.
I can't figure out why my great great grandmother, husband and several of her offspring some by previous marriage left Ashe County N.C. to live in Rye around 1880, what was the attraction? My Grandfather born there in around 1895 his name Joseph Russell Ray, please help if you know anything about the Ray migration to Rye, thanks.
I dont understand how you ranked Elizabeth #1 as of your previous video or #15 video and now it is #10? You lost us
Good eye! I appreciate you catching that. What happened is that the COS video is when I really started buckling down and getting more serious about certain things with the channel. One of them was re-ranking the places we've been with more accuracy. Specifically, I changed our ranking system to "which towns we would like to go back to" instead of "oh neat what a cute little town".
The problem with this place there is no jobs to keep young kids here
Well done, I'm interested in this area to relocate and your video is very helpful. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed our city, now kick rocks.
Nice place but really a lot of people that day. Thank you!
It is a pleasure for me to continue getting to know Colorado through your effort and enthusiasm. I send you my thanks at the beginning of the second third (34) of your "100 Visit Plan". From Guaymas, Sonora, México. Luis Müggenburg.
Own land in the valley. The views are spectacular; crowds and traffic are nonexistent. DeWeese Reservoir would have been worth a visit...
Horrible to see that obscene open--pit mine.
Thank you for this. My father purchased an old house in Goldfield. We spent several summers in the area. It was a wonderful place back in the sixties!
AWESOME......You did a fine job 👏
Thank you for these videos. Pretty new to Colorado and pretty old in life so want to see what I can see while I can see it. Thanks for the choices.
Glad I could help! Enjoy your travels
You tell it the way it is. We have lived in Peyton for a year. So pretty, and yes, quiet. For recreation we do wildfire mitigation. Do you know a his source to tell about the geology of Palmer Divide? Wondering if it had glaciation.
I try to stay down to earth doing these reviews - with so many places not everywhere can be at the top. Unfortunately, I don't know or have sources about the area's geology, but I wouldn't doubt if it had glaciation at some point.
We love living in Manitou!
I’ve got a cabin northwest of there in the mountains. It’s a gorgeous area, people are nice, and there’s tons to do if you love the outdoors.
Jebidia Smith was attacked by the umpqua Indians on his 1828 trip… so there are attacks recorded, just sayin.
I knew Ronald Lee White that was on death row but taken off at the state prison. Worked with the guy he decapitated and cut his hands off.
Thanks for the history and the tour. My mother’s family was from Raton, Springer, Mora, and Cimarron. My great grandfather was the sheriff of Colfax County back in the early 1900s. Horseback riding, gunslinging times.
I like Pueblo West! I would definately live there..or in this house anyway! th-cam.com/video/vIZFsr7wLkE/w-d-xo.html
That's a nice looking place!
Interesting! Thank you.
Congratulations! You and your family completed the first third of your Goal of your Project Exploring 100 Towns of Colorado State.
Yes! Making progress, thank you!
