  • Here in Beulah we are lucky to have access to the Pueblo Mountain Park. The park is a day use area with no overnight camping. Here there are several trails at least one of which will connect to National Forest land.

    John - I’ve followed your Black Bear Forge channel for a while now and have really enjoyed it. I must’ve missed any mention of this channel but came across it browsing YT. I subscribed immediately and am now “catching up” on videos. I love Colorado - did some hunting around Meeker years and years ago. Beautiful state! As always, I enjoy your thoughtful commentary. Looking forward to the rest of the videos!

  • @BrianDaleNeeley

    I think I know what that "Eye of Sauron" artifact is from: the 3m selfie pole has enough flex that the camera can't exactly tell where "down" (towards the handle) is. Removing the flex would make the pole too heavy to take with you, so I can certainly live with it. The view is fan-tas-tic! And the tunnel view (?reversed "tiny planet") is interesting.

    • @JohnSwitzer
      @JohnSwitzer  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      “Eye of Sauron” is a great description. I bet isn’t long before they adapt the software to eliminate that. It only shows up with the longer pole.

    • @BrianDaleNeeley
      @BrianDaleNeeley 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JohnSwitzer Yes, the flexion of the pole causes the "down" of the camera to be somewhat imprecise (my assumption), and I think the software can probably be improved. I wonder if you were to make small circles with the handle on the long stick if it would make a circle, or if the "eye" would spin? I think the problem could be corrected in software; it will be interesting to see what the cameras are like a year from now.

More diversity and so much to appreciate. Looking forward to learning more about our new home. Seems Californication has NOT hit Pueblo...
