Mistake #1 is not grinding the chia seeds first. When you don't grind them you get almost none of the omega-3 or protein content, and only get the insoluble fiber benefit of chia seeds. So, either grind them or use the pre-ground form.

Autumn you seriously have no idea how much your information is needed on TH-cam. I am new to the whole TH-cam world, especially those channels that cover helpful information like health, nutrition, keto and recipes. Your channel is amazing because the information you put out there is backed by scientific fact and explains in layman’s terms what exactly s happening inside the body and how certain recipes work towards achieving your goals while others keep you in a state of confusion causing you to make the same mistakes over and over until ultimately quitting, therefore being stuck in the same rut you started in. Not this time!!! I’ve watched sooooo many of your videos over and over again and am so grateful for them. Your chia seed base recipe is brilliant. I made some yesterday and couldn’t wait to have it for tomorrows breakfast so I had it for dinner last night and then again this morning for breakfast. I can’t wait to purchase the frozen raspberries !! Please keep the information coming!

My pudding is 13g of chia seeds, 15g of hemp hearts, 15g of PB&ME(Peanut butter powder) 1 tsp of Monk fruit splenda, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 cup water. Its a delicious addition to my breakfast. I'm going to start adding in 1 Tbsp of flax seeds as well.

    • @Umbrellaoflove
      @Umbrellaoflove 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

Make sure you ground the flaxseeds and keep them in your fridge or they will go rancid quick. My chia pudding go to is I prepare by pouring 2 cups or more of unsweetened cashew milk into 4 tablespoons of Chia pudding add some cinnamon and stir until it starts to thicken. Leave it for a few minutes and repeat the stirring and then put it in the fridge for overnight.
after you can PLACE two TBSPNS OF CHIA PUDDING INTO EACH mason jar and then top it off with Greek yogurt. I then add or mix in blueberries, preferably wild and organic a few pieces of walnuts some pumpkin seeds and I have it for breakfast keeps me full until the evening. No need for sweeteners as the berries sweeten it enough. But if you must have use monk fruit or stevia. I definitely like my fruit better. It tastes exactly like sugar, but I don’t like my thing sweet so I don’t even add monk fruit to it and there you have it a perfect breakfast and lunch meal that is full of good nutrition and fiber and keep you full for most of the day!

    Unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Topped with fresh a few blackberries
However, I notice that it swells better in some milk than other. It swelled best in rice milk but rice milk has too many calories for snack. Any ideas?

i do my chia pudding always the same way:
    - chia seeds, flax seeds, unsweetened almond milk and peanut butter
the healthy fats presented in the flax seeds and peanut butter, as well as the protein makes me full for longer, i eat it early in the morning even if im not hungry at all and it keeps me full until lunch and sometimes im not even hungry. you should eat even if you're not hungry, the principal meals, because if you dont you can lower your metabolism causing even more difficult weight loss.

Good evening autumn, I have been using whey protein isolate collagen peptides in chia seeds in my shaker. It fills me up I thought the science would say that's what you need but today I was listening to someone that said whey protein powder it's like insulin so if you eat it with any fats it dumps those fats into your cells. That makes me wonder if I'm making things harder on myself by adding the Chia seed fat to my whey protein shake. If you have any information that you like to share I'd appreciate it thank you. I love you videos

Hi, Autumn... I just discovered your channel and subscribed.
I'm curious though... I've recently discovered and started using Allulose as a sugar substitute and I think it is definitely the most comparable to sugar only about 70% as sweet. I'm just curious to know if you're familiar with Allulose at all and what your thoughts may be on it ?
If it really does not metabolize and spike glucose or insulin AND it still tastes like sugar, wouldn't that make it like the Holy Grail of sugar substitutes!? How come more people aren't talking about it? 😏

I think none of these are “mistakes” per se. Honey is good for you. We should eat whole grain plant based so if you make a good healthy granola you should be fine. I don’t think maple syrup is bad for you either as well as agave or coconut syrup. I just think sometimes people listen to these types of video and be like we doing it wrong, let’s stop eating honey granola etc. no. Just watch your sugar consumption try to eat healthy sweeteners every now and again and be well. Just my opinion

I think this video is in the context of weight loss strategies. I do not use granola healthy or other wise I use Oats I use nuts I use fruit to add flavour as suggested. It is all good advice. I use brown sugar in my oatmeal a small amount I have used maple syrup again a small amount. As I have been off a lot of sweets(used to be my go to snack) I find I do not need as much of a sweetener because I sense the sweetness much more and it is great. There never used to be too sweet for me a few months ago except perhaps baklava.

Miss Fit and Nerdy makes Chia seed pudding. I have never tried making it. I just use chia seeds in smoothies. I usually eat breakfast between 7 and 7:30, lunch between 11:30 and 12:30 and dinner around 6 or 7 pm. I make sure there's a lot of solid protein for breakfast and lunch (chicken, beef, fish, cheese) and then dinner is usually a greek yogurt based smoothie or hummus with veggies and pretzels (if I had enough protein already).

    • @thetiredworm2100

@Bitterman She’s asking what is the recommended serving for a recipe that contains -coconut milk-, vanilla, chia and a bit of raspberry, she wasn’t only asking for the serving of raspberries lmao. Coconut milk is fatty, yes, but it taste hella good, she prob knows it’s fatty and is asking the recommended serving size so she doesn’t gain to much weight from consuming it.
