Very nice review. It was very informative and everything was explained clearly. My son just purchased a 2021 WRX Premium in Crystal White Pearl with all the options your review stated except his has halogen headlights and fog lights. I'm not sure if the headlights move with the steering but I'll ask him to check it out. It only had 4,990 miles on it and has all the beautiful Weathertech like factory Subaru floor mats and trunk mat. The car was spotless and he is enjoying his first ride that he actually owns and purchased himself, and not Dad's car. I actually sent him the link so he can check this video out. Again a very informative and well spoken review. Thank You
Well insurance depends on where you live, your driving record and some other factors! Any car can be cheap to insure, depending on those factors! I'm not sure there would be a huge difference between the two. But I'm guessing it would be high because of the volume of the car, and the accident rate for the WRX.
The Base and Premium Trim WRX's have the Halogen headlights and Fog lights, The Limited trim WRX's has the Steering Responsive LED headlights and LED fog lights.
I ordered mine in early august. Dealer gave me an update a couple weeks ago, Subaru gave us an October delivery window. Dealer said once we get closer to October Subaru should give us a more specific time window.

Thanks for sharing! I'm sure you will still enjoy it! I've been in the STI and WRX and you'll feel a difference in power for sure and the clutch is a bit different, but still a great sedan!
With manuals not being on the road much, a lot of folks think they're played out. But for anybody who would want a manual at an affordable price, this would be the one to get! Was wondering if you've ever been to that barbecue restaurant across the street from there, looks like they might have some good food!
I like the wheel too. I find the shifter to be notchy, however, and the clutch to not leave much room for error if you are looking for a perfectly smooth shift. I’m coming from a Civic SI that I drove for 8 years, so maybe that has something to do with it. Plus, people can certainly have different opinions as to how a manual transmission feels.
I keep coming back to this 2021 and I can’t believe how Subaru screwed up so bad on the 2022. I would get the 2022 GT only if they drop the price to $25,000.
I like the overall car for the new 2022. But the black plastic on the outside has to go. Needs to be body colored. A basic Impreza I could see being $25k. But the WRX has never been that cheap. Sounds like a used one would suite you best
Recently got the premium 2021. The sti may be faster but the stock wrx is more than enough for legal street driving. I mean this thing gets to 90 kmh in second gear for goodness sake. I can’t even come close to hard driving in higher gears. Plenty of fun. Gear box is shit though

That's a tough one. If the used STI was completely stock and it didn't show signs that someone had modded it and put it back to stock to sell, that would be a good buy, but like the other comment, depends on the mods that were done too.
If you can find a good clean used one, it's worth it. But a lot of Subaru's get tuned and modded with some crazy numbers which makes them not as reliable!
Was goona get a truck but my brother just got a premium with the Sti short throw, I travel for work all over the United States just debating if I could sit in the car for 10+ hrs somedays, is the comfortability really that bad over long periods, i was only passengers in my brothers car for 10 minutes. But I need AWD
hmm, I wouldn't say it's the most comfortable car over that much time. Seats are a bit hard. If you need AWD check out an Audi. A nice S3 is much more comfortable and refined and the DCT is awesome to drive!
The only differences that I know of, the limited doesn't have a sunroof and some of the tech features are missing like blind spot or some other sensors! It's not a whole lot it's missing vs the premium!
My girl has a '19 crosstrek and that thing feels like a sh!tbox compared to the wrx. I know their completely two different cRs. BUT it's pretty bad ass when taking it off road ❤️ Too bad subi doesn't make a crosstrek with an FA20 in it That would be perfect.

Not a good car to learn manual in. The clutch has zero forgiveness starting in 1st. I’ve know people that have a lot of manual experience that struggle
From my perspective I think it would be cool. Clutch doesnt have much feedback, so that could be a challenge. A Focus ST would be a good one to learn on
It’s funny. I was in the market for a used one. 2018 with 25k miles asking for $31000 from carmax. My local Subaru dealer asks $29500 for a new 2021 wrx premium. Used market is getting weird.
The bite point is when you can feel the car start to move letting the clutch out, it is pretty obvious because at that point if you don't give the car enough gas, you can stall.
@@dopemangotem7849 I never said anything about the CVT or automatic since this is a manual car. I’ve never seen an automatic WRX lol, but they make them.
To be fair, a lot of 2021 models still do that, but I'm sure that will change soon, but that's what keeps the price lower too, or at least one of the reasons.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed True but only probably like 10% have halogen lights, even low entry cars like the Toyota Corolla have standard LED. I would think the WRX Premium IS classified as a upper entry car. Otherwise, why call something premium when it's not. lol

This carvwas by far my most regrettable decision to date. Slow, sucks to drive, sucks more to drive now, after shortblock replacement at 28 k because of anything but negligence on my side, turbo acts weird now with light throttle, makes very concerning noises upon turning on now, makes a sound similar to either lifter tick or knock that the dealer says isn't there. Enjoy, maybe you're luck will be better than others, I'm donevwith subaru, once and for all.
Sorry to hear about your experience! I've heard the stock cars can be reliable and once you start tuning them it can become more unreliable, but if yours is stock and having those issues, that is unfortunate. Hopefully you can get into something you can just drive and not worry about!

Great video bros 4 speed
Thanks for checking out the Subaru WRX review!!
Which cars have you heard of that aren’t sold in the United States? It can be any car.
Hmm, there are definitely a lot that I'm unfamiliar with simply because I don't see them!
next cop
What do you mean by that?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed he’s copping it bruh
The Subaru WRX It’s alright! I love your red shoes 👟
Lol thanks!! The Subaru WRX is a fun family sedan!!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed 😂! You welcome! The WRX is a good family car
Do you recommend I should get this
This trim is great, but I'm getting limited trim because it has nearby car detetection on the mirrors & GPS to track where your car is.
If you are in the market for a sedan with a manual sure! Definitely check them out in person and drive one to see how you like it!
There are a few more features on the limited for sure!! Either way it's a cool Subaru!
You're a Dr. get a Lambo.
Would you rather have this or a used WRX STi
This. I would never buy a used sti. I would hesitate to buy a used wrx as well. People thrash em.
@@ianholmquist8492 what cars do you think people beat on the most
That's a tough one.
I would think just the way they drive them!
Here in Australia that has 297 hp . And dont know if u noticed that it doesn’t have sti badge
Wow that's a lot more then the 268 HP in this, that's getting up to the STI numbers!
Aussie HP and USA HP are calculated differently. So is torque.
I have an 18. Fun little car but desperately needs more power.
I could see that!! It's a lot of fun to drive and does have mod potentials!
I got mine last week and I f love it
Very nice! Congrats on the purchase, the WRX is a fun sedan!
I don't think there's a better choice
Can't go wrong with the WRX! Great car!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thank you I will check it out
Hi, what different between premium and limited?
The only differences that I know of, the limited doesn't have a sunroof and some of the tech features are missing like blind spot or some other sensors! It's not a whole lot it's missing vs the premium!
Have you heard about the Subaru solterra full electric car
I have not yet! Is that model coming to the US?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I don’t know but you can look at it in the Subaru website
Beautiful Sports Car. Very Fast.
It's a sweet sporty sedan for sure! If you want the power though, go with the STI! The WRX isn't crazy fast!
Should’ve got this over crosstrek
The WRX is a lot of fun for sure!
Bought mine in April. I love it so much and so glad I got a 2021 I’m not a huge fan of the new one they just released lol 😂 well see what the sti looks like when it’s time to sell mine but literally just bought a 2021 a few months ago so I plan on driving it for a while 💪🏼
Very cool!! Yeah I'm not too excited about the new design either, but haven't seen it in person yet, so hopefully soon!
Same here, got my spec. out WRX Premium on June this year...
I wanted one bad in 2020, but subaru wouldn't work with me at all on my trade in.
Oh wow! What kind of car were you trying to trade for this Subaru!?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I was trying to trade in my 2013 altima s. I only had 5,000 left to pay on it and they wouldn't give me 5,000. It blue booked for 8,000 at the time.
If that is leather then you must have been reviewing the limited model not the premium.
For the seats!? You can hear me at 4:25 say they are two tone cloth seats!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed ah sorry. Definitely missed hearing you say that. My apologies.
2 week for my subaru im so exsited
Very exciting!!! You'll definitely enjoy this Subaru!
Not a good car to learn manual in. The clutch has zero forgiveness starting in 1st. I’ve know people that have a lot of manual experience that struggle
From my perspective I think it would be cool. Clutch doesnt have much feedback, so that could be a challenge. A Focus ST would be a good one to learn on
Do u like it over q50
I've never been in the Q50. So I really cant say
@@BrosFOURRSpeed what do u prefer like with your knowlege
Looks like all the other year wrx’s. Save your self the money and get a used low mileage 2018 or 2019
I would agree with that! I think Subaru has some big changes coming for the 2022 year model so that will be exciting to see!
For the wrx you don't save alot of money buy used. Like I see 2016 for sale with 60k miles for 25k.
It’s funny. I was in the market for a used one. 2018 with 25k miles asking for $31000 from carmax. My local Subaru dealer asks $29500 for a new 2021 wrx premium. Used market is getting weird.
Used subies in low miles is hard af to find. I’ve been looking for a week for an older one with decent miles but they r all 50k minimum
I couldn’t feel the bite point in mine
The bite point is when you can feel the car start to move letting the clutch out, it is pretty obvious because at that point if you don't give the car enough gas, you can stall.
Those light bulbs need to be swapped immediately can’t stand halogen bulbs in 2021 we should be using led’s bulbs🤦🏻
A lot of companies still do that and I would guess because it's cheaper, but LED's are the way to go!
This or gti?
Tough one. If you need the space go for the hatch! Both are really good tho!
It sounds like you’re asking a question after every sentence
Hmm, I don't see that, but something I can work on..
@@BrosFOURRSpeed it sounds fine to me.
Why do I not show the engine? Can’t parts name? 🥸
That would be nice. The turbo engine packs a nice punch tho
I like q50
I've never driven the Q50. But those look really cool!
is Like a Toyota Camry
In what way?
@@ianholmquist8492 B R U H
This Subaru is smaller than the Camry. It’s more like a Toyota Corolla.
@@DaveDVideoMaker oops
Cos the WRX and Corolla are compact cars. The Camry is a mid size car.
Halogen lights for a "Premium" thats embarassing.
The premium is the mid trim level WRX. I think the Limited will get the LED lights
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Understood. But subaru is way behind if their premium trim level doesnt come with led headlights.
Wait I thought it was automatic
This Subaru WRX was a manual, I mentioned that a 0:33 seconds! and then again at 8:00!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed well maybe u should mentioned that the cvt is the automatic so people like me don't waste time watchn
@@dopemangotem7849 I never said anything about the CVT or automatic since this is a manual car. I’ve never seen an automatic WRX lol, but they make them.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed definitely what I would have expected from a manual driver lmao
Selling my 2017 WRX. Lmk if anybody is interested. San diego
Now is the time to sell if it's still available. Can make bank on used cars now!
She sold pretty quick
@@taylorsebring998 I bet! Just sold my Supra in 1 month with a ton of mods for a premium. Good time to sell!
2021 car still running halogen lights..lol
To be fair, a lot of 2021 models still do that, but I'm sure that will change soon, but that's what keeps the price lower too, or at least one of the reasons.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed True but only probably like 10% have halogen lights, even low entry cars like the Toyota Corolla have standard LED. I would think the WRX Premium IS classified as a upper entry car. Otherwise, why call something premium when it's not. lol
has foot resting on clutch lol
You can't even see my feet in this video lol but I don't have my foot resting on the clutch when I drive, it's always close or ready to push when needed..
@@BrosFOURRSpeed not a subaru. Probably go back to my previous car, first focus se, was slow but enjoyed it much more. Wasn't until about 4 years later that I got sick of it at 235k miles.
Oh wow, yeah the Focus is a cool car as well! That's a lot of miles for one!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I beat the ever-loving crap out of it. Hit a deer, drive year round I'm vermont, horrible roads, snow, mountainous terrain, and the engine was still running great, no leaking oil, no burning oil, good compression, and I need my motor overhauled on the wrx at about 1-9th of the miles, and didn't even beat on the wrx. Didn't buy it with intent to race, just wanted a quicker car with awd, and more sporty, but nothing serious. Shoulda stuck to my instincts.
Thats nice to hear! Some are certainly bullitt proof
Subarus are nothing but garbage I highly recommend not bad!!!
I'm guessing you didn't like the Subarus you've owned?
you got a booger on your upper lip
That's a little bit of tissue lol, didn't see that at first.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed LOL
Arm rest sucks
That depends on the person lol!

Thanks for checking out the Subaru WRX review!!
Who the f**k cares about the headlights? Show me the engine.
Just showing the whole Subaru and what it has, I also mention right in the beginning the engine and all those specs before talking about the headlights.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I was just kidding m8. Having some fun in the comment section.
Love the review.
