I think you need to keep your thyroid, and you can help heal your thyroid naturally just look it up. The thing is I wouldn’t get rid of my thyroids either. I think you’re smart keep them you got enough to deal with it with your Addison’s disease
Sorry to hear that you are having another medical challenge ! Does this new disorder have also change your medication for AI ? Still taking the same amount of HC and fludro ?
thankyou for your video, much appreciated. are you Hyper or Hypothyroid, or were you Hypo and now Hyper if you dont mind me asking, i am confused. what were you originally diagnosed as?
I have been diagnosed with “oscillating thyroid disease” which means I have both Graves’ disease and hashimotos disease at the same time. I am currently hyperthyroid (Graves’ disease) but I could swing anytime now to hypothyroid (hashimotos) it depends on which antibodies are the highest at that time. So technically I am both. Which is why it is rare.
@@JessicaHearsey Wow thats so tough, I am struggling with a hypothyroid ( Hashimotos) and taking levoxyine for years but recently quit work due to exhaustion, always tired, shortness of breath etc, my TSH blood results are between 4.5- 5.0 so not too high but still fell unwell, how would i know if i have Graves as well? and again thanku for ur videos so helpful.
@@mondardaman2973 you would have to be tested for the specific antibodies associated with Graves’ disease. Not sure what they are called off the top of my head.
@@JessicaHearseyHi Jessica, i havent been seeing much videos from you, I hope your ok and doing well. Guess what I took your recommendation and saw Dr Jane Walker and after a few test i was diagnosed with Low Cortisol levels and put on hydrocortisone Mylan 20. 1 in the morning and 1 at lunch. Im already on thyroxine for an underractive thyroid grrrrrrr. So yes i was always exhausted and homebound at 45 years old, lost my social life and spent 90 percent of my time at home. Anyways i am about to start the hydrocortisol tablets and wondering if you can give me any tips, side effects, exercising etc, whatever u can share wud help. Also i want to thankyou heaps because without your videos i would not have been diagnosed, doctors thought i was just a winger or having depression. Many thanks your awesome!
May God bless you I am suffering with the same disease. I am bald till now. Taking hydrocortisone 5mg daily. Stay happy
