Hmm. I'm only three days and 30 years older than you. I ran across your channel while trying to see if the bus/van lifestyle was something I wanted to try after the wife died a few years ago. I think so, yes. Starting next year. What attracted me to your story is that you were a wanderer in search of yourself and a place to call home. I did much the same long ago, roaming from once place to the next until I found where I fit. But now my home no longer feels like home, and the life I had is no more. I suppose it a foolish endeavor, but soon I will once again go wandering in search of myself. My time grows short for such things, but perhaps I will again find a place where I fit.
Seeking all you want out of life is never foolish. It is never too late.
I gotta give you props for doing what you want to heal yourself. To throw caution to the wind and doing what your heart wants.
I'm alittle if not confused. I admired you for what you did of throwing caution to the wind, buying a cottage doing your own renovations. Yet you asked me for money on telegram? Now what confuses me is why? I was only supporting you in your choice to do as you felt the need to live as you wish, when alot of us can't do what you did. And I know it costs to renovate. You should realize that just because somebody has a profile name which seems similar to Lyssa's, that doesn't mean they have to be the same person. They're called scammers for a reason... She doesn't willingly scam anyone but if you think so it shows how much faith you had in her.

I've been watching you for a long time now and am an old lady (66)😊 and I am so impressed with your spiritualism and your growth. It took me 50 ish years to grasp this whole "where do I fit" in this universe but you've got a really good grasp at such a young age. Which, I understand, normally means you had to go through some heavy crap to get to that point. I just wanted to say... I see you and am proud of you ❤

The biggest lie I remember being told as a kid was from teachers who would say, “These are the best years of your life.” When adults are bullied at work, they can (and often do) sue for harassment and damages. Yet when kids are bullied at school, they’re supposed to just suck it up.
Alyss, how do I begin. First of all, thank you for sharing your heart. My description of you would be that you are a “pistol” and that’s a compliment. Your smile is infectious and your giggle is endearing. I can’t believe that you were bullied based on the woman that I’ve seen on here. In general people can be jerks and that times two for high schoolers. Regarding your life choices,as a man in the fourth quarter of my life I’ve learned some hard lessons (relearned in many cases,lol). You have to live your own life and in the end be happy with the person that you see in the mirror. I love that you said that we only have a limited time on this planet. My favorite lyric is “live like you are dying”…thank you Tim McGraw. You are a wonderful and beautiful person inside and out. Keep living your dream!

Well, I think this video was just about a person whom over all, is winning in life. Not all the time, cause no one wins all the time. Each little win is another step, a victory that you may have seen or not seen coming. Each loss is just a lesson to help you get to the next win. It's a journey and when done right it becomes a fulfilling life.

Hello Regretlyss, thank you very much for your very detailed birthday special. I've been following your channel for some time now, also to brush up on my English (I'm from Germany). What I like about it is your open honesty and the quality of your posts. At 66 years old, I'm a bit too old to still be making posts on TH-cam, but I do enjoy watching those of others. Also to see how people in other countries think. I'm also following the development of your house with interest, partly because I'm an architect. A 130-year-old house like this is something special. In Germany, there are a lot of houses built of stone that are that old and almost no wooden houses. It's probably a bit different in America. Well, best wishes from Germany and I look forward to seeing more videos about the extension of your house!

I’m 51 and am just beginning the journey you talk about feeling like you can be yourself without the anxiety. I was married at 20 and was verbally abused throughout the marriage. My mother is still friends with my soon to be ex. I’m only now realizing how my spirit was trapped for so many years by worry of how I was perceived by others. I’m struggling now to find a job without fear of failure so I can be somewhat self sufficient. I am an artist but have never sold anything only given my work away because I am too shy to try to sell it. Thank you for this video it has given me a bit of courage listening to your words. Sometimes I think about beginning a TH-cam channel to talk about my journey. Maybe…?❤

I find myself coming back to your channel as I feel your a friend who I can speak freely, unlike my life. I am so sorry for what you have gone through and it saddens me that you admitted to being bullied. I am a bully, but for those who cannot or are too afraid to stand for themselves. I have felt the darkness of depression and have fought the urges just to end it already. But your one of those folks that lift my spirits, give me hope and makes me suffer through alone, although I do have my spouse. But he is hard to talk to, negativity and prickly. He’s not the man I feel in love with, but I refuse to give up. It’s my Japanese, German, and Irish backbone and still try to find a happy place to be with him. Thank you for sharing your spirit and how to try and overcome the negativity of general life. I live in Colorado as well but I escape to the woods to find the balm for my soul as my 2 puppies trying their best to show my that I am deserving of their love.
