    Nice car. The s80 has a similar powertrain both have an inline 6 engine. But main difference is 335i is more sporty and s80 is a smooth luxury sedan. However I prefer the S80 due to slightly higher reliability. Edit: s60 is the direct competitor to this car because it is more sport oriented and has forced induction.

      LMAO Volvo and reliability in the same sentence. BMW's are the most reliable cars in the world if you service them regularly (which I know is a unknown to people in the US as they believe servicing a car at your dealer is a scam) Nothing else will take the abuse of being driven hard like BMW's will. Your Japanese cars will fall apart by the time a BMW breaks in properly, just ask anyone who tracks their cars regularly. There's a reason why when you go to the Nurburgring 80% of cars on the track are old BMW's and you never see an old Lexus or Toyota, because you hit a curb in a Lexus once and you have go get your suspension aligned, you rev it to red line a couple of minutes at a time and it overheats, you brake hard a couple of times in a row and your pedal goes soft. BMW's are rock solid no matter what you throw at them.
      Also S80 and 3 series are literally the polar opposites in every single way. One is a soft big comfortable sedan the other is a small sporty sedan.

    Nice but unreliable junkk I'd rather own a lexus or acura something that'll hold value with quality and last

    • @derbigpr500
      @derbigpr500 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Difference between this and a Lexus or an Acura is that Lexus and Acura are always junk, even when brand new, BMW is only junk if you don't maintain it properly and let it go bad with your stupidity. It's incredibly reliable and durable if you do take care of it, meaning, just listen to what BMW tells you and service it regularly, instead of not changing oil for 50k miles and then complaining something went wrong, which is what people in the US like to do. If anything on a BMW ever goes bad on you, it's 100% your fault, remember that. I say that as someone who owned a dozen of them from 1 series to 7 series. It's hard to buy one in Europe with less than 300k km on the clock, and that says a lot. Service is regularly like the manufacturer recommends, use original parts instead of cheap chinese knockoffs and you'll never sweat about reliability.

    • @varunlikescurry4464
      @varunlikescurry4464 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      @@derbigpr500 "Lexus and Acura are always junk". You lost credibility right as you made that statement. Owning a BMW in Europe is a lot easier than owning one here in the US....parts are expensive regardless of the model and many use plastic for integral components in the engine bay. Lexus is the epitome of quality cars here in the US with cars like the LS430, LX470, and GS300, when even with little care, they run and drive fantastic. Why is that? Because they were made extremely well from the factory, using higher quality parts than that of the Germans. Not changing the oil for 50K miles? Majority here change their oil in the regular interval (5000-7500 miles). The truth is that MOST Lexus and Acura usually never become junk (maybe after ~30 years). MOST BMWs, on the other hand, normally become junk after 3-5 years. Try doing some more research instead of being a European car elitist.

    • @DMCarReviews
      @DMCarReviews  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      You can always find slightly used parts here too, and have them installed for low costs. The reason why those Lexus cars run and drive fantastic is because they use 20+ year old technology, no turbos, and cannot match the performance levels of the Germans. BMW's N/A inline 6 cylinders also run forever without any major repairs. Of course a V8 twin turbo will take more maintenance and care than a LX470. It's not about the part quality. Germans use very high quality parts and their cars don't rust, unlike many Japanese cars. Also, look up "rotted frames" for the GX/LX and other Toyota SUV's. You'll be in for a surprise. I see plenty 200+k BMW's running after many years. Owned a 2005 X5 4.4i with 224k miles, and it ran well, despite the previous owner not doing any proper upkeep of the vehicle.

    • @john1999reis
      @john1999reis หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Toyota/lexus deals in the mantra of “if it aint broke”, German cars push the boundaries between expensive state of the art tech with a car that actually has to run every day. That balance is why some parts wear out more. If lexus tried to match the level of performance and refinement they would be selling a car 10-20k more expensive… its designed to work not be the best. A jdm cant match the level in a million years. Even an LS feels artificial and cheap compared to a 5 or 6, 7 series of the corresponding generation. Just accept your coping and enjoy a lexus cars “reliability” thats nice enough but compromises on feel. Just dont ever compare the two because they are not the same😂 No woman is gonna sit in a lexus from any generation and say this is better than the audi bmw counterpart because its literally 10 years behind and chintzy in the details. The n52/N55/B48/B58 are just decades ahead of any engine lexus has made outside the F cars. You pay more for more.
