You have been on TH-cam for a while now your a excellent teacher of the trade and you have helped thousands of backyarders and helped a few old guys too with the modern day painting thanks Gunner and spray guns direct too

Hey Gunny, first off I really like the look of the Skull edition from ANI as the design on the gun body is sooo cool and I like the way the digital gauge fits, I so want one of these guns but the problem I have is that I don't need one I already have to many clearcoat guns as it is but the finish it puts out looks really nice👏👌
You've added quite a few different clear guns to your collection over the past year Gunny so I think it's time to revisit the famous top 10 spray guns that you do such a great job on, maybe you could give it some thought mate🤔🤓👍John UK
I have always been happy with the ani guns I have purchased so much so I have kept them r150 f150 r160 f160 just use them on other things mini guns for spraying inside engine bays and boots. Full size for etch primer etc nice video again Gunny

I'm just a hobbyist painter. Where I used to live it would get cold in the winter. I'd do my best to heat my makeshift booth but found heating the air did seem help the clear flow out in colder weather. I coiled some copper tubing to fit in a coffee urn filled with water as the heat source. Could be psychological IDK LOL but that's my story!

First... thank you for your vids, the majority of the work I do is on original GM lacquer paints, touching up cars from the late 50's through the mid 70's. (I make my own lacquer paint as it is difficult to get, however the current axalta pigments blend with lacquer IF you leave out the newer binders.
I do maybe 5 restoration paint jobs on vintage Corvettes and my learning curve would have been much longer for some particular things if not for your vids on gun set up and air pressures. My application of clear has gotten much more consistent.
fwiw - I could see heated air on the old ENAMELS(I have put my paint cup in hot water with older enamels when shooting wicker furniture 20 years ago in cool weather), however most of the time we are trying to cool the air down in order to get the moisture out before the dessicant dryers. I have a heat exchanger after the compressors in order to remove most of the initial moisture then a refrigerated air dryer then dessicant. I am in the southeast US where my air is humid for 2/3 of the year.
Do I remember Right that These guns Are really Heavy on Air consumption? Maybe you have a gun to Compare to as Air consumtion goes ?

Every time I lay the clear on like this it the n xt day is looks like it dyes back and has very little shine. Looks like a mirror when spraying it and looks like a semigloss/satin finish the next day. Spraying in an open shop
