Love this channel! The time and effort you guys put in to bring us quality content is much appreciated.
Thanks Austin, Cheers
It's so exciting every time to see how you come closer and closer to the target!
Impressive as usual 👌
Since you always shooting so exotic calibers it would be interesting if you put a picture of the ammo beside some "normal" ammo in the intro.
Like "this is the 33xc and a 308"
Cheers from Northern Sweden 🍻
Thanks Man, glad you liked, Cheers
I love Sam's laugh and enthusiasm!!!!
Thanks Jason, cheers
3506m!! That's crazy! Well done!
glad you liked, Cheers
You guys are awesome and a great team. Keep up the great work. I really enjoy your channel and I have learned a ton. 👍👍👍
Thanks Brent, Cheers
Such a beautiful clean flashless shot.
Incredible for how powerful the round is and no flash.
As well as Incredible shooting and spotting.
Cheers
You are certainly a man of incredible patience and skill Mark! Backed up by an amazing spotter👍 Super effort guys!
Thanks waldo, Cheers
Man, it still has a lot of wallop out there.
Excellent showing us the discovery shot and how well you corrected 👍👍
Thanks Man, glad you liked, Cheers
Thanks for the video. The drone shots and the landscape look amazing. Have a great day. Be Safe.
Cheers Tim, thanks
David Tubb is an absolute genius. Great gun and calibre, nice shots. 👍🏻👊🏻
Not a Tubb gun, but yes a great round, Cheers
Absolutely amazing for that distance and breezy!
Cheers Man, thanks
Sam and you working together is why I like your channel. Please show the rifle.
Thanks Rich, and here is one of the videos on the rifle, th-cam.com/video/ksU_6vUJNV0/w-d-xo.html, search the channel for others, Cheers
MarkandSam more like marksmanship
Wow every time watching you guys it is like watching you for the first time impressed
As always
Love the rifle my fav so far
Good shooting mate blessings
Thanks Islamdo. Glad you liked. Cheers
And just think at the King of 2 Mile event they shoot at targets often 60".. I'm always amazed at your shooting.
Thanks JT, Cheers
@JTLanden he would absolutely take the king of 2 mile I feel he is shooting at a 24" plate like you said there's is 60+ " and he walks into what he is shooting at in first 2 rounds so yeah he would take it
Was just thinking the same thing. Less than half the size of KO2M.
I think mark would have that title in the bag if he ever had ago at it cheers Yogi 🤙🤙
@@ryanbrown918 double the size increase the volume by 4 times. At least that's how it works for pipe. A Plumber's point of view. Ha
Amazing shooting as always Mark&Sam
Cheers Jeff, thanks
I love the action with the left hand feed it’s so cool and I had a giggle when Mark said ok last one hits the target and then gunna put in a couple more Sambo with the sly little smile great to see you both having a great time wicked shooting take care and stay safe you two cheers Yogi 🇦🇺🤙🤙
Thanks Yogi, Cheers
Great content. You must have a gracious king to allow you to possess such dangerous things.
Only dangerous in the wrong hands.... Cheers Man, thanks
Impressive! I saw the projectile go past the target camera on the second last shot.
Thanks Dave, Cheers
Very cool as always guys. Enormous effort and well rewarded. Top self-shooting mark.! Love the whistle in...Well not if you're close that is. Lol
Cheers
Really cool cartridge and rifle it's pretty impressive to say the least you was all around it with 1 on it... Great video as always keepem coming guys!!!
Thanks Daniel, Cheers and all the best
Impressive shooting!! You guys are an inspiration.
Cheers
Guys great video. Just love that rifle. I still recon that barrel just looks so settled when it shoots.
Cheers Ian, thanks
At that distance it seems like the speed of sound is catching back up with the projectile!? Target cam picks up sound of shot just before impact, very interesting, and great shooting! KO2M target is like the size of a car and you’re all over a 24” plate, amazing!
Thanks Phil, and this will help th-cam.com/video/_9gxLenODhg/w-d-xo.html Cheers
Gets my excited for the 33xc I’m going to put together... I haven’t ordered a barrel yet, but have dies, powder and brass... bullets are easy to find for 338 in the US
Sounds great, cheers
Enjoyed as always. Outstanding shooting as always.
Thanks Man, Cheers
Nice to see the structured barrel in use after all the delays in shipping and customs putting their nose into it.
Lol, yep, Cheers
Looks like it was a great day for shooting. Nice work you two! Wind sock killers!
Lol, thanks Man, Cheers
Amazing work team! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Doc, cheers
You guys are fantastic!
Cheers Jeff, thanks
Impressive as always! 7 sec. Flight time is unreal. I'm working on it.
Cheers Chris, thanks
Extraordinary as always
Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork I thought they confiscated firearms in Australia
Don't believe all they tell you, lol, Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork no but I don’t believe everything I hear
Mark:
You’re going to need a bigger land mass if you keep this up.
Great build, Great loading, great wind calls, great shooting. You appear very relaxed and comfortable behind the gun. You should do a show on getting set behind the gun for success.
cheers Dave, thanks
Unbelievable! That's about a 0.6 MOA target at 3800 yards. Now you're really pushing it guys. LOLOLOL! Thanks for bringing us along!
Thanks Man, Cheers
Love you videos! thanks for sharing.
Cheers Man, thanks
You guys are awesome! You should do a video series on how to calculate long range shots like this. Would be so interesting! I also like all the different cartridges you all use.
Thanks Bryon, we have videos on the topic, Cheers
How much does the gun weigh? and is that a 5 or 4 chamber brake hardly any recoil from what I can see in the video great shooting and spotting ... thanks
Recoil what you can see th-cam.com/video/hCyAFBdlPCw/w-d-xo.html
@@markandsamafterwork excellent information thank you very much.....
Well. You got me. SUBBED. This is incredible. I sure would like to know how you get your hands on so many EXCELLENT firearms! In Australia even. You guys can't even go out for a walk without a mask, permission, and the OK from the almighty Government. What gorgeous rifles.
Cheers
Hi. I don't know anything about shooting or rifles but I'm fascinated by the patience and the precision it takes to hit a target at such a long distance. Also I'm wondering about something. Do you shoot ultrasonic bullets ? And if yes does the munition slow down so that when we hear the shot and then the hit on the target, the delta of times very small (just one second on the camera close to the target) even if you are so far away ?? Can you give me some explanations please ?
Thanks for your videos anyway :)
studio.th-cam.com/users/video_9gxLenODhg/edit
it's amazing that you can take the empty out of the rifle place it in the box and still have time to look back through the scope to see the impact. WOW thats a long flight time.
Thanks JB, Cheers
I have a question. I've always wondered. What is that device that is on the end of your scope called. And what is its purpose. Thanks.
A Charlie Tarac, written in the video and description, and we have videos to explain, Cheers
great video/shooting, what range were you zeroed at and what elevation did you need for this? cheers
100 yards, and details all in the video, Cheers
that structure barrel seem to be working out good because to me just watching the video I'm not behind the rifle or anyting obviously but that thing looks super consistent how's it working with keeping a barrel heat off of the lands and grooves is anticipating it better than a regular bull barrel
We are just using and showing what we experience, works great, but all the testing on various levels is being done by numerous individuals, Tacom HQ would be able point to them, Cheers
Great shooting and great new location!
Thanks Pete, Cheers
The shot right after the impact was so close! 👍
Yep, lol, Cheers
Can’t imagine how loud that would be with that muzzle brake and that much powder would be! Do you guys use plugs too?
No, not too load, but outside so nothing like shooting in a shed or covered range, Cheers
Always a pleasure to watch, never heard of 33x ?
Tubb, 33xc
Good work guys 👍
Liking the split screen 👌
Cheers
Incredible, hitting a 2’x2’ steel plate at over two miles away, in a stiff wind. Had your target been 3’x3’ you might’ve tagged it at least another 2-3x. Amazing!
Thanks Man, Cheers
Is the unit you use indeed capable of firing at that distance?? Because I thought it seemed to me that it was too compelling a shot at the range and that it was just chasing poi without any predictions or calculations in consideration of DSF
Im sorry if im wrong 🙏🙏
Maybe you are not familiar with ELR/ULR shooting, but, you just watched your answer.......more than capable, cheers
@@markandsamafterwork
Thank you very much for your answer to me, and thank you also if I are permitted to be able to learn to be bworthy of you, please guidance and instruction that I may gain much insight from you, Nice to meet you
Great Shots.... great equipment
Cheers
That is a ridicules shooting distance, wow, I can just dream and hope/pray :) Thank you so much for all your efforts and great videos, would love to hear your thoughts on the structured barrel and if it made any difference for you at that long distance compared to a "regular" barrel :)
Thanks Oddur, and too hard to say more than shot very very well, better than the average rig for sure, Cheers
Great video!!! Fantastic shooting, you guys make a great team!!!
Thanks Man, Cheers
That flight time is almost long enough to take a nap. Incredible.
Lol, Cheers
Hi Sam what camera and Spotting scope are you using here?
Nikon P1000 and Nightforce TS-82
Always fun to watch good vids and content nice shooting as always
Cheers Greg, thanks
I'm sure you'll do a breakdown on your thoughts on that barrel later so I won't ask your thoughts on it yet. Nice poke at that target though, thats a long ways, with the hit and so many close, im still impressed. Cheers guys!
Thanks Mike, glad you liked, and not sure I can say too much more than what it has shown, shoots great, very consistent, stiff barrel for its weight, beyond that we don't have issues with heat or harmonics with normal heavy barrels, so not something I would draw any further conclusions about, I leave that to the folks that want to test those things, Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork I was very curious about the heat, if it performed as advertised. It does seem to be a very consistent barrel. Thanks for your efforts and the response. Cheers!
Nice work!
Cheers
Hi Mark and Sam. Quick question. How is this rifle grouping at hundred yards ?
Never tried, lol, Cheers
I've always wondered. What is that device in front of your scope called???
a Charlie Tarac
Very nice, curious what scope Sam has chosen?
NF TS-82
I would LOVE to see Mark and Sam do some long range PCP rifle shots. It's essentially the same game, but a different playing field. In the neighborhood of 6-800 yards gets a bit challenging.
I have no doubts they would be successful.
I believe the world record is about 12-1400 yards or so. You're talking some seriously artillery shaped trajectory out that far though. Can be done, but isn't practical at all.
We don't have any of those rifles, or the extra thousands of dollars to get them, lol, sorry
@@markandsamafterwork lol, yes. They're indeed not cheap! I have a couple of "budget" sub $500 pcps and just recently aquired a Chinese HPA compressor for $300. They will work for maybe a couple years at best. It's a fun hobby for sure though. If you're ever in the neighborhood of Tennessee anytime, I'd love to introduce you to it.
Cheers Mark. You two do great work. Take care.
Thanks Josh, Cheers and all the best.
What is PCP I’ve never heard of this thanks Yogi Australia 🇦🇺 🤙🤙
Dam good shooting with the wind going diff speeds at any given time, tough stuff👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪
Thanks Man, glad you liked, Cheers
That 1 shot lady didn't make flew to New Zealand. Joke nice vid. and #1 shooting sir.
Lol, Cheers
That first hit was that the bullet hitting the ground bouncing up into the target or had the bullet gone subsonic and that was the sound of the gun?
th-cam.com/video/_9gxLenODhg/w-d-xo.html
@@markandsamafterwork Right, so it has gone subsonic to the the point where you hear the bang before the bullet hits. Not so much that and animal would have time to react though I guess.
Nothing to do with hunting, FYI we never hunt past 1 sec of bullet travel time, too much can change in a second...Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork very true, cheers for replies
Man I’m feeling tension after you release the shot
Cheers
What impact does the Charlie have on visibility as in clarity?
No difference in image quality with or without, Cheers
Awesome!
Cheers
Geez 2 miles!!! And that kinda bc. 33xc is a beast
Cheers
Amazing..great shooting.
Cheers Leon
Man that a good looking rifle. You should cerakote that barrel black so it’s not so blah. Great shooting really nice group very impressive. I’ve been waiting to see that one out far. I just watched your 4002 yards with the stock 338 again and that looked much easier
Cheers
Thanks Tim Cheers
Well done 😊👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers
Mark and Sam take ELR shooting to extremes like the helicopter skiers did in Colorado back in the '90s and the '80s. They take it to not only 11 but crank it up to 21
🍺👍
Whew even at that range, it still has more energy than a 9mm at the muzzle.
Yep, lol, Cheers
People don’t realize how badly pistols suck, especially compared to rifles.
@@MrMalicious5 they are built for different purposes….not even comparable
Awesome hero
Cheers Lyndon
thats some pretty fine shooting 😁👍
Cheers
Using 3800 yds an moa target is roughly 1226 sq inches. Your 24x24 is 576 sq inches or 0.47 moa in size. I doubt that few if any have actually shot at a target of similar size at that range and hit. Job well done.
Thanks Man, glad you liked, Cheers
how do you figure the distance? i'm guessing you measure with the reticle.
With GPS using a GPS app, as shown....Cheers
great video
Thanks Amir

Where do you shoot? Do you farm the land?
It is a local farm, not ours, Cheers
This gotta be the most cutsomised custom gun a customer can customise, damn
Lol, Cheers
That was fun!

Shoot. Go to lunch and come back to see the impact. Amazing!!!

Nice shooting, with the time of flight, you have time to take a nap...........what are those white trees with no bark ??
Gum trees, (Eucalyptus) cheers

A elevation adder, listed in or below video, Cheers
