People need to shut up about the price. Go pride a bmw IX with equal options. Do the same with an Audi etron q8 , macan Ev , this is a friggin bargain in this class. Luxury performance Ev segment. Not an entry level Ev. If you want a cheap vehicle. Buy a bolt or model 3

Range is 315 miles not 350. And 22 inch wheels does not come standard.

Targeting 350, but closer to 280… what’s 70 miles amongst friends.

The car does 340 miles in Swedish winter. I was part of the test group here in Sweden ❤

I just realized it's the 2025 model because of the lidar on top

Pretty nice. Haven’t test driven one. Too bad it cost so much.

The Rivian is way better and more functional for the same price.

Why does this and the Porsche Macan EV both have that black stuff on the doors? I hope that's not a trend in the industry like that "floating roof" thing that ruined the last decade of SUV styling thanks to the Nissan Murano.

The car looks fantastic, the overall outfit and shoes, not so much Greg.

What’s up with the digital pad pasted on the dash by most manufacturers, looks so wired, not to mention the high prices of these electric vehicles.

Polestars are too small, too expensive and don't come with features you'd expect like heated/ventilated/massage seats. Performance pack adds $5000. When you add the autonomous driving LiDAR you're up another $5000 and the technology hasn't been proven on American roads yet.
This thing starts around $75,000 but if you build one on the website you easily pass $80,000.
Cadillac Lyriq is a way better deal.

What kind of charge port does that have? It's not CCS or NACS. Think I'll stick with my '24 Tesla Model Y dual motor.

Looks like it's Chinese GB/T standard as opposed to the North American J1772 port. I imagine this is just because this is an auto show display model. Consumer models should have J1772

My wife's 2017 VW Golf has rain-sensing windshield wipers, so not impressed by that here. And it looks like the Volvo engineers and designers have transferred their knack for building cars with relatively small interior space over to the Polestar line-up. The opening on the trunk looks relatively narrow, so even though total volume sounds high, the narrow opening makes it less useful (again with the small spaces). For the life of me, I can't see why someone would shell out $75K-$80K for this car. There are so many better options at lower price points.

You don't get the Polestar brand, then. It's a sporting version of Volvo. It's not meant to be roomy for cargo. It does have plenty of room in it for 5 people, however, and even better for 4.
It costs what it costs because you start with a car on the level of the Volvo ex90 and add much better handling and braking and overall performance standards. That's why it costs what it costs. It has the same build quality and level of sophistication as Volvo to start with and adds more. People wanting this car like the style of it and appreciate a car with excellent handling characteristics.
