Come to Toronto after quarantine ends!
Assggression
Dino have played fear factory with Max
is not Fear factory. The song is Divine heresy '_^.
Gene Hogland is without question one of the greatest drummers in rock history
Metal
And I wish they had kept him for future records... The Industrialist while having solid drums even though they came from a drum machine would’ve been intense.
Gene the Genius
Came through my line when I worked at Trader Joe’s, couldn’t be a nicer and more humble guy. He was touring with Testament at the time.
Of course. He is the best.
Seriously, these guys deserve more respect & credits in the metal community and media
FF have been relatively unsung for their original tight knit concept and inventive scifi lyrics.
Agree
Agreed
Heavy fuqin metal 🤷♀️
They already got that with Demanufacture in 1995. Didn't you watch MTV's Headbangers Ball with Vanessa Warwick? Everybody into metal knew them. At least that was my experience but this is Finland. People being in posting lists on that modem dial-up time before (affordable) broadbands, it was very community-like.
Fear Factory is a timeless metal band. They can make a casual music listener into a metal-head.
richard dietl so true
Great point! They have such a range of music they have played over the years. I think personally they have a sound for everyone out there. Love these guys
Nah, Metallica is for the casual non metal head
Funny, I checked out Fear Factory for their cover of cars. Fell in love with that album and haven't looked back. Metallica and Megadeth were the heaviest bands I had really listened to before that. I was disappointed in Archetype and Digimortal. Too casual for FF. Mechanize was a breath of fresh air.
@@plantdesigns7889 Transgression was my only real disappointment when I first went through their discography but since then I've grown to like that album more.
One of the heaviest songs in the fucking universe. FUCK YEAH.
KingEdwards I will agree one of the heaviest songsbut listen to morbid angel,s altars of madness, covenant, domination and many others.Just saying.
Gene, Byron, Dino- Literally the heaviest rhythm section in metal.
Hoglsn is fckn impressive but damn I miss Raymond in FF
Raymond and Hoglan both legends. I know Herrera would absolutely destroy this song as well 🤘🤘
Funny thing is Gene Hoglan actually taught Dave Lombardo how to use double bass drums while working as a drum tech when Slayer was coming out with their first album Show No Mercy. Seriously, look it up.
not taught.just some tips
Burton is easily the most underated vocalist in metal, and in music in general. His cleans are pure awesomeness.
Have you heard him live? Seriously, big FF fan speaking here, but Burton C. Bell definitely cannot sing a fuckin ´ note straight...but I guess it´s absolutely okay to depend on tech in the studio, according to the band´s general concept...;)
First time I saw ´em was 1990 or 1991 near Karlsruhe,Germany with Unleashed and , I believe it was Nocturnus...Burton sucked "bigly" live, the keyboarder was busy changing sound disks the entire time, only Cazares delivered.
Despite that, I still am a huge fan, have all of their albums and am eagerly waiting for the next one. Albums superb, with only a few minor and one major disappointment (Archetype), but live....won´t waste any more money on them after I´ve seen them , well, for the tenth? eleventh? time live and Burton always sucked at the clean parts.
one day I hope I can write something on the internet and someone won't give me an essay on why I'm wrong.
10 simple lines are an essay for you? Might explain a lot...
JoRdOguitarman1 check out some live stuff from the mid 90's up to the early 2000's. there's lots of really good performances from Burton, especially the obsolete tour in 98/99, he was at his absolute vocal prime then. contrary to popular belief he didn't always suck live, his voice is just so badly damaged now.
I don't think people realise how much doing harsh vocals really does fuck your voice up especially when you're always on tour. The only guy I can think of that hasn't lost his voice after touring so much is Randy Blythe.
Such a powerful song. I discovered this after the army, struggling with PTSD, and found this song. Decided to change my paradigm from a hurt self, to looking outward to help others make it.
Love these guys, a big part of saving my own life.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AND I MEAN IT \,,,/
Louis Csanko thank you sir, would do it again for this great nation of people. Not for government, but for the people.
lucky you, i don t find anyone who is truly capable of this !
Stellarion Prime
Capable of what? Changing your outlook?
@@Spkr4TRUTH YES THE PEOPLE ARE WHAT MAKES A NATION// THE GOVERNMENT UNFORTUNATELY IS OPEN TO CORRUPTION AT HIGH LEVELS, WHICH HURT THE PEOPLE!! THANK YOU AGAIN AND MAY WE ALL GET THROUGH THIS EPIDEMIC( 3-20-2020) PEACE \,,,/
R.I.P to the drums when Mechanize was recorded. Gene killed those damn things.
Every song by this band is incredible
yes!!!
I know
This person gets it.
Except Dog Day Sunrise. That's a skipper for me, every time.
Andrew Woodhead right?! I wish they had left that off Demanufacture. Takes the wind out of everything.
Good old Gene on Drums never fails , perfect/spot on all the time
This short chapter of FF with Mr. Gene Hoglan is, IMHO, an absolute gem in metal history.
Even so, Herrera was THE FF drummer.
imagine Gene Hoglan team-up with prime Einstuerzende Neubauten - that would've been so intense Hanatarash seemed tame
Working from home, suddenly I stand up and start headbanging. My wife looks over at me like WTF...it's these drums babe!!!...the DRUMS!!!! AHHHH!!! Glad these guys are still around and making music!
I saw them with this lineup at the Electric Ballroom in London on the Mechanize tour. When they dropped this the place damn near exploded. Videos don't touch the power of this band with a good sound on stage. It's like sticking your head in the afterburner of an F-22 Raptor at takeoff.
Legends.
Gene Hoglan is playing the most violent drum track I’ve ever heard yet it looks like a walk through the woods for him.
Has that "I; am in the zone man, step aside" look. I am 63 by the way and still love this shit!!
This band puts the heavy in heavy metal
This song is so heavy it hurts!
Favorite band ever. No one gets you pumped like FF💪💪💯💯
This is really addictive, I listen to it again and again without getting bored!
The bestest drug replacement ever.
I think there are two things Fear Factory loves to do. 1. Making great music 2. Eating
Dom Ikarus Literally putting the "heavy" in heavy metal.
+Dom Ikarus God bless Golden Coral and Fear Factory
Lmao! Fear Factory for President
Dom Ikarus Can't go wrong with either
Dom Ikarus who doesn't love those things!
I forgot about this ff song!! Its been 14 years since 2010 when i was 9
Best drummer FF ever had....Gene Hoglan took FF to the next level.
They did him real dirty too - you ahould look it up.
@@killbeers6890 Blame Dino.Blokes a narsisist
This drummer is a metal machine!!!!
Love that rapid fire rhythm and those absolutely killer vocals
I love the way the vocalist fades from super heavy to almost angelic on the chorus. Great stuff man great stuff
how to set a brutally heavy band: dino on guitars and gene on drums.
Gene Hoglan provides that he one of the best metal drummers out there. Timing and precision is impeccable.
Still listening towards 2023..anyone else
Fuckin right 🤘🤘
2024 and until my end comes
2024
I am 63 and I came across this band and thought "man, WTF, these guys kick major ass. 63 man, 63. Its just a number anyways!!
The most important Alternative Metal band.
Gene Hoglan .. a living legend! Mechanize is one of my favorites
This vocalist amazes me. He actually has a voice within all that growl and you can actually understand what he's saying.
This song fits nicely with the times nowadays!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
POWASHIFTAH!!!
This is the song that got me into Fear Factory. One of the best tracks ever produced by the band. Each time I listen, it reminds me of the time I first heard it in London. Time flies but some songs are forever etched in our memories. God bless Fear Factory.
🤘🤘
Burton Bell is awesome!
He was the pioneer of the metal frontier that forged beautiful, clean vocals that were blended perfectly with the heavy, distorted sound of metal. I remember the Soul of a New Machine tour.
Yes that is the trademark of their sound. HEAVY AS HELL THEN A,LMOST ANGELIC!!
A heavy metal drumming lesson in one song!
I was 13 in 2010... Now I'm 24 in 2021, Like "Purity" and "Disruptor" from new album
Life happened. Brother's split. Sucks!!! Ugh... Been a fan for a long time. I understand though. Being on the road all the time and touring? Yeah? Sucks!!! The Rock Star life? Isn't for everyone. It tears you down. The shit you watch in video's. Its all there to perceive a wonderful time. Its all bullshit. Sad to see the band broke up. Again...Life happens. On to better venture's I guess. Still one of my favorite bands. Love you guys 🤟🤟
One time after a Fear Factory show in Northern California my friends and I were waiting in line for food from a food stand. Burton was in front of us, and my friend asked him "What's up?" He responded: "Nothing much, bro. Just gettin' some grub."
In my high school days, Fear Factory were my Metallica and Fear Factory were always blasted!!!!!!
goddamn I love FF
Final Fantasy or Free Fire?
The drummer and his feet give this band it's signature sound.
My man, this isn’t just a drummer.
Fear Factory crushes so hard. Seriously, how many metal bands do these guy's make look tame?! Gene + Dino = Destruction!
Andrew Russo Do you mean metal legends DESTRUCTION/ Check out the song mad butcher by the legendary band called DESTRUCTION from Germany
I think the editor forgot that they have a bassist
+Pineapple Farmer Bassist never get any credit lol I like bands that have the bass louder so you can actually hear it. Like old slayer, new you can only hear the guitars(still bad ass) But you used to hear the bass a lot more in like hell awaits album.
+sixsicsixmaggot1 That's what makes Iron Maiden the greatest metal band ever, or one of the things at least.
+Pineapple Farmer Huh.
+Seth Connelly yeah thats only Gene Hoglan a.k.a the Atomic Clock on the drums, top class
+Seth Connelly Actually, Gene Hoglan, the drummer on Mechanize, gets all the credit and rightfully so.
The camera should've been on Hoglan the entire time. Dude is a machine.
Feared your control and excessive greed
Abuse of your power disgraced me
You want war
You got war
More than you bargained for
I damn you and leave defiantly
Cut you out and take it all with me
You want war
You got war
More than you bargained for
Always question authority, control my own destiny
Forcing change, breaking free
From the gears of the machine
Changing my world so I can live
Execution powershift
I will forge my place in this time
Contention is sharply refined
I will expose you and force your demise
To take control of what is truly mine
I have been FF fan since Soul Of A New Machine. This video fuckin rules.Best stuff in a long time.Long live Fear Factory.metal Lou Csanko
This is real metal! Thunderous drums, killer vocals and crunchy as hell.
I love it. Metalhead Matt approved.
IF YOU WANT HEAVY MAN LIISTEN TO THIS SONG AND YOU'LL GET HEAVY THIS IS SERIOUS METAL MAN!!
Fear Factory is one of the most influential bands in my life! Soul of a New Machine I got at release, and I've jammed to, followed, and loved them ever since! 🤘
This song gives me power when im powerless
Myles and FF for the win!
It's just insane! It's you! My two legends came together!
Well this was definitely unexpected to see you here 😂
Holy fuck even your here 😳
You mean Milo?
No, he sucks! FF ends with Aggression Continuum😔
Always question authority, control my own destiny
Forcing change, breaking free
From the gears of the machine
Changing my world so I can live
Execution powershift
Gene is a drummer that belongs in a band like this. I know he steps in when a band is needing someone, however he 's earned a home in one of these well known headliners.
2024 here... And in Full rage mode!!!
I play this at Sunday tea parties with the girls from Yoga World™️
I need to marry you pronto hahhahaha
One the best FF songs and vids....this version of FF are just great musicians
Grew up with this band 🤘🏻 still in love with their music simply perfection hail the machine
Na setki kapel ,ktore znam ,ta jest z tych zespolow ,ktore rozpoznam .daja chlopaki ogien .,oby tak dalej .

ALWAYS QUESTION AUTHORITY yes yes
I have Seen Fear Factory 3 times and they are Awesome Live.😎😎🤘🤘🤘🤘
Just saw Fear Factory in London last Friday 03/11/23. Last time was Curitiba, Brazil October 2015. They played this song. I have to say, I miss Burton but Milo is doing an amazing job. Fear Factory forever 🤘
Gene Hoglan sitting there and making it all look like child's play lol.
He has the look that says "Im in the Zone man, step aside". LOL
@@craigroberts1670 hell yeah!

Just saw them in Toronto. Incredible. Amazing. Dino is a great guy. New singer is off the wall.

one of the worlds best drummers ever!
Beautiful song
They have a groove and vocals that never fade
I fuckin love this song.
My favorite Fear Factory lineup had to be the FF/SYL merge they had going here.
legend tune ........
Been listening to factory since 1999
This song is pure energy!!!
Going into a pull-up contest with 600 people tomorrow. I'll be listening to this and no doubt I'll win
FF is some of the best music to pump you up for a workout .

Omg This is the most amazing live shit ever. F all those weaklings who gave a thumbs down. This shit is epic.
Gene Hoglan is a fucking monster...
Why can't you show some respect for fat people? Do you think he choosed to be like this?
Rocco siffredi U totally missed the point :)
Štěpán Prokopec U totally missed the point dude.
Rocco siffredi
he say hes a monster drumming hahaha ...dumbass!
Omg... buy yourself a sense of humor...
What à bunch of retards.
Dino's Ego!!! [ immeasurable]
THE TRUE AND THE BEST FEAR FACTORY!!!!
Deserves definitely way more views and likes
I told my local bands drummer to play this and he said "F**** you man" laughing while saying it
Yep, mine had a similar reactions back then
😂♿💀💀♿😄
this track is classic fear factory
Fear Factory is so underrated. Albums, fire.... Live, fire...
people in this band are big boys
I love this band!!😈🤘👊
Powerfull, mechanized yet expressive, hell yeah, that's the FF we love
the intro sounds so much Seth Rollins' theme song
yeah lol
And the singer looks like dean ambrose
ok
BURN IT DOWN!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You mean vice versa
BURTON.....................😩🤘
pause
Клааасссс....клааасс.. классс..... лучшая групппа... слушаю все альбомы....
love this song
I HAVE BEEN A FAN SINCE (SOUL OF A NEW MACHINE) THEY ARE AWESOME LIVE\,,,/
Ahh, this lineup. Strapping Young Factory. They were fucking good live.
I saw then live in Jan of 2011 with this lineup and they were pretty bad to be honest. Byrons guitar crapped out mid song & Burton sung like shit. At the end of the set Burton dropped his mic on the floor and was liks "thank fuck that's over" and walk off, we were like what the fuck. Dino and Gene were on fire though.
@@killbeers6890 yeah bad day on the sunrise
@@killbeers6890 Burton's live singing has always been atrocious: has never been taught to sing properly and project his voice naturally. Just destroys his vocal chords, and has needed surgery at least once, probably on multiple occasions!
