Goddamn shame that piece of shit took it upon himself to act as God. I don’t hate anyone except that low life scum that pulled that trigger that night in Ohio. I sincerely hope he’s roasting in hell while getting reamed by a demon.
There will never be a concert like Pantera's in the next 100yrs
Agree 10000000%
We're so blessed to have this on film. That solo is something else.
I feel sorry for anyone that hasnt listened to this masterpiece
I'm jealous of those getting to hear it for the first time.
my neck hurts headbanging to this, noo.
probably you guys have stronger necks, my teenager neck couldn't handle this shit
they can hear it for the first time
Fuck this is my first time listening to the song, It’s good to feel alive again
@@cesargutierrez4405 hell yeah
Honestly, I prefer this live version over the studio version
Hell yes!!!
Yes same it’s more heavy in my opinion and I like the crowd getting into it so much.
If only we were still graced with such talent
Thomas Blalock yes I know I’m 14 and have been playing for 2 years now. It’s way harder than people think.
Ive played in small bands jus jammin since i was 14 also i feel ya. Dimebags my hero man
I wish someone could take this, clean the sound up and put it on a regular playlist off TH-cam. Make a cd or something. I would love to listen to this in my car on my radio cranked up!!!
3:35 squeel was so holy that even the black and white camera showed colours.
Lol
wow
awesome catch! hahah
Ha
I seen that
One of the if not THE greatest moments in Heavy Metal history.
greatest forsure
hands down best live performance in heavy metal
Watching Dime here just makes tough. What he could have been. 18 years today we lost the Goat of metal guitar. Long live his music!
Still milking his death for likes all these years later eh?
temazoooo
@@dr.loomis4221 still crying?
Imagine if Dimebag and Vinnie see Pantera’s reunion ❤️🤘 Zakk Wylde really rocks for them 🔥🔥
@@dr.loomis4221 Yeah, 158, really 'milking' it 🙄

Amazing song and video!
I love how Phil Anselmo is doing windmill without hair
He had long hair in early days \m/
@@milanspasikj7134 and later days
When you want to headbang but you forgot you have no hair...
Badass any ways
He's the only one to make it look good bald!
The fact dimebag was jumping while doing his riffs, and was able to pull of a solo even better than the original, is mind boggling. Definitely see why he's in the top.
Dime is the top of the food chain
When others practice and struggle to be good .Dime does a black tooth and says sounded awesome so I just let it rip.
well the riffs are really easy to play
U mean the solo
Dime is the food chain.
There are 3 heaviest things known to man:
3. Neutron Star
2. Black Hole
1. Domination Breakdown
Best comment ever \m/
Don't forget heaviest matter of the universe
Na Na Na Na naa
@A L I M K everytime you come back to it its heavier than the last time. Deffinitly heavy/dirtiest
Two words in my Universe.. so heavy it can melt a suburb: Return Trip
Always loved at @0:32 when Rex walks by the camera hard af like he ready to throw down!
And just like that, the "Breakdown" came into existence, and the bar was set so high, that nobody has been able to touch it since.
This and maybe the breakdown from Angel Of Death by Slayer???
Amen.
Og loko, These colors don't run, I used to make out with medusa, I was once possibly maybe perhaps a cowboy king, Ruin.
Check out these songs and tell me the modern break down isn't alive and well
OG Loko has a better chorus imo than the breakdown, shayleys voice was so strong.
Black Sabbath would like to have a word with you.
3:45 decades of death metal, doom, djent, etc. but this still might be the heaviest metal ever
Heavier than stalinium
It’s amazing but not the heaviest and I say that with a heavy heart
This is as heavy as it gets everything nowadays is no where near even close to the realm of heaviness and soul pantera was on.
Djent is garbage
Born in 97. I love Mettalica and all metal in general even todays progressive metal. Still nothing comes close to the feeling Pantera gives me 🤘
Legend has it that the echo of this concert still roams around mother Russia 🇷🇺 to this day
I wanna catch that breeze
Fuck yeah!!!!
My ex lives there and they still talk about this there today.
Legend has it that people are still leaving.
It will never be like this again. Thank you God for having this on video for us. I do not believe Pantera was a band. They are an entity of some type that somehow rips through dimensions, space, and time.
"I smoked my first joint to the domination drop"

i remember this quote just like it was yesterday 😅
Wait, did he actually? 😮

@@HaloBolle Are you crazy?
Everyone talks about Dimebag don’t get me wrong his solo was amazing, But nobody gives Vinnie any praise when he controlled that entire crowd of half a million people with his kick drum alone! That kick drum kicks in everyone loses their shit! Band included. RIP Boys!
I can just imagine being a young Russian you get this free concert with crunching guitars and this machine gun kick drum is controlling the tempo.
Yeah or Rex on bass either. But dude I'm a drummer and drummers and bass players don't give a shit especially if they KNOW they're tight and the backbone. They leave accolades to guitarists and lead singers they constantly have to be fed addolation. Honestly no bs.
Every single member of this band was stellar in this performance. The bass was outstanding too but no one mentions it.
The tightest group of musicians to ever step on stage Thomas P... period so yes Vinnie does not get enough praise
U can Google it i think 100k people were expected... and 1.5m showed up.. 50 people died at this concert
I'm gunna break my neck listening to this some day... worth it.
Coaster Haven Truly worth it
Same
Obscure Creation It's worth it!
Ok i think I heard something crack
Obscure Creation I'll probably break my neck listening to this song too 🎸🤘🏿
20 years without the legendary Dimebag. 😢
Seems like just yesterday 😢
He lives in us brothers his spirit is still alive and always will
3:55 Phil jumps in the air, screams "Grawwwhh" and everything makes sense
I think that singlehandedly is the reason this version beats the studio version. It's crazy how much of a difference one syllable can make.
This makes me so happy
Getcha pull!
Lol, Phil summed up in one unintelligible noise, love it!:,-D
the fact that this was the OPENING ACT for METALLICA is absolutely insane! going to that show was basically a test of physical endurance, almost suicidal i would say.
AC/DC was the headliner awesome.
Dam how you supposed to follow this as the headliner!
you're an idiot
And now pantera is opening for metallica again
@@gregorydavis9691 ac/dc is terrible despite them being classic and huge in the scene

So epic
Sick AF
It's almost 2025. I've jammed this version no less than 500 times and it gives me the same goosebumps it did the first time I saw it. RIP brother Dime and Vinnie. Heaven must have some insane music.
Heaven... lmao... grow up.
Played this for somebody who never heard pantera before last night. Their response , "this is something real ".
Damn right.
RIP Dime. 16 years ago tonight. I'll never forget this day and how I felt losing one of my heroes. Now, I get to teach my 11 year old son guitar, and Dime is his favorite guitarist ever :)
Im glad too see people still commenting on these videos teach your son real music not modern day rap
@@squareboy7775 why always so much hate for rap. there's great metal and there's shit metal. there's great rap and also shit rap.
You brought your son up right, great job brotha
Thats awesome, getcha pull brother🤘🏻
Dime passed a few months after I was born, feels bad to know him but when it's too late. Not regreting listening to Dime or Pantera. He also inspires me as a guitarist.
Getcha Pull 🤘🏻
You ever watch a band that brings out so much emotion that your eyes water up? This is one of those bands.
💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽hell yea
without a doubt, this is the best band
Nobody could touch Pantera at this time! They had a run of pure dominance
Ayyy 😎👉

My favorite part🤘
Don’t forget about 3:39
Yep. My favorite part too.
Imo, that's what freedom looks like 🎸🎸🎸
Look at how fucking happy Dime is at 4:50, he just absolutely destroyed with an immaculate performance of his favorite song at the largest heavy metal event in history with the entire world ahead of him for the taking. GREATEST EVER.
what event was that?
Also the fact that he can perform like a god under the influence of alcohol and all those headbang just amazes me.

The sickest breakdown of all time when this song is played,,,,however the breakdown for "Ill Cast a Shadow" live is sick as fuck too.
This is the most metal thing ever.
I think Pantera were actually a super group. They were so tight and all 4 elements were just so strong but they just happened to be one band.
It’s not an opinion.. its a fact!
Kind of hard to not think that after watching this performance.
They are playing in denmark next year 🖤🖤🖤
genie: you have three wishes
me: bring back dimebag and vinnie and reform Pantera.
genie: you still have three wishes, they are on me.
Nah u just earned an extra wish
I love you. That would be Wish beyond Wish.
HELL YES!!! I’d make a deal with the devil to bring them back. He could take any number of today’s “artists” in exchange. 10-1 would be a good ratio.
@@DRPowell Hey man we all miss them, but you think Dime and Vinny would be cool with wishing other innocent people dead for their sake? They weren't those type of dudes my dude. Shoot a black tooth, put on Vulgar and just smile that it happened.
Csyk - You are correct, I shouldn’t wish ill upon people who have not harmed me directly.
Too strong for this world, coming back to this after more than 25yrs.. still got the same power.. unique moment..

I love how Phil just seems to completely ignore angular momentum when jumping everywhere.
Jeffrey Tam blotter acid?
I love how Rex is overlooking the crowd in awe. You can see this man is humbled by the sheer amount of people.
20 years without Dime. RIP legend. RIP Vinnie. You will be missed beyond we can express
I get super emotional when I remember Eddie buried THE guitar with him. Me and my band saw Damage Plan two weeks before he was killed in our hometown club. They were hanging with everyone. Dime and Vinnie were exactly how you'd hope they'd be, like so many of you already know. This show was incredible. Never gets old
Yep..same here..I met them and used to watch them in their earliest days at Joes Garage bar in the Westside of Fort Worth Texas many years ago..they were all like you described.. really a great bunch of guys and liked to Party hard !
It's 7:26am and I'm sitting here bawling like a baby.
Bro same here. I met dime and Vinny with damageplan in early February 2004 when they were just about to go on that first tour. I will never forget how cool and nice they were. My buddy got his dime slime he brought signed by dime. We were just in awe. I never felt that much energy in my life. May they rip those guys were phenomenal and im from Texas 💯
The guitar and Dime's bones belong in the Rock N Roll HOF
I love how at 3:25 dimebag acts as if his guitar is shooting electricity through his body. Pure metal.
Legend has it that Phil threw his hair off head banging and it hasn't landed yet and continues to this day orbiting the earth 20 times a second
Could you imagine this at Superbowl?!!! America would be the greatest kicking cheap pop music artists out ! That breakdown would be all America needs. I imagine a huge American flag slowly rising with the chants of the crowd in its heaviness ! A perfect time for national pride. All countries would respect us because of Pantera !
