I was 15 years old when the album Chaos AD came out and then there was a war in my country. I dreamed of buying that tape. I survived the war, a few years later I received that tape as a gift, from then until today I keep it in my room ... there is no price, I would not give it for a million dollars

One of my favorite parts of this music video is watching the drummer, and the way he plays that fast paced drum groove with such a high level of intensity. It's also really interesting how he applies a unique snare to hi-hat transition that I've never seen before. Moving his arms that fast is most likely in part for show, but it still takes a lot of energy to perform like that, and being that I'm a drummer as well makes it all that more impressive to watch. IMO it's always cool to see musicians provide their own type of self expression through music, and this drummer definitely adds a lot of energy to the song.
There is a drummer from a band called torniquet. I know people do not like christian metal, and I am not really a big fan either. But Ted Kirkpatrick is really skilled.
This fast paced rythym is common to be heard at northeast Brazil (Salvador,BA for example, where Sepultura recorded ROOTS BLOODY ROOTS). That's certainly afro-brazillian percussion incorporated into metal drumming. Badass AF.

Avoid the wheel of terror and Ozzy Osbourne is mean, he stabs a lots and juggles your soul. Don't worry, if you have a wife or a girlfriend she will warn you.
Nu-metal-mini-pogoing. Nu-metal-tiny-shuffle-backwards-and-forwards-pogoing. Yeah, not really loving watching the enactment of those particular affectations. Still too much groove in the groove-thrash mixture, as well.

Max Cavalera started making something himself for a name as long as he was Sepultura's frontman, and after leaving the band, he has been capable of making astounding music with Soulfly. That guy will always be a legend in the history of music, just for the fact of contributing to both the evolution and development of hard rock.
