Im 37 years old and I heard this song about 23 years ago, it still hits home just as hard as the first time. MY Dad heard me listening to it, heard the raw energy and saw band name, then told me to give him the cds case booklet, with the lyrics. After reading them, he told me that it was fine to listen to it.

shaddixification I went to a hatebreed concert like 15 years ago and the pit was unforgettable 2Nd craziest I ever been in besides slayer. Slayer was so insane we had to get out and watch from the upper deck people were dropping like flies EMTs in and out
Austin resident here. The no concerts thing is killing everyone in this city. When shows start happening again, the scene is going to explode. The lockdown may prove to be a good thing for metal/hardcore in the long run.

Hatebreed is unreal with their music. They have the most positive message of anything going on these days. The 90's really did some damage with grunge and R&B but Hatebreed said eff this and turned it around. I wasn't a big fan in the beginning but like Motorhead, they were an acquired taste music wise. Lyric wise, they are the shit!!
Thank you Hatebreed! I watched you open at History in Toronto for Anthrax and Black Label Society. My brother bought tickets and I didn't even know Hatebreed was going to be there! For years now I have been one of the quit guys in the back but at one point I roared at something the lead singer said and my brother asked me " Do you know what he just said?" I shrugged and he said "He asked if any old school metal heads are coming out of mosh pit retirement tonight?" I laughed, handed him me phone, wallet, keys and bag of joints. Then my 46 year old ass became a pit fiend again. I remain out of mosh pit retirement till I'm too fuckin old to move! Love and thanks from the North.

I watch this and think back to when pits were extremely violent. It was like a warzone back in New England. Good times. And no. That pit is calm compared to some of the shit back in the 90's early 00's. People getting knocked out. Losing teeth. Fights galore. Watching the pit was almost as fun as watching the band.

Hatebreed, is not a Nazi band, its New York hardcore, which I used to be a part of the scene back in the day, and not only are these guys not racist, New York hardcore, CANT be racist by default. The scene has too many crossovers with black hip hop bands like Onyx and Biohazard, etc.. Not to mention many of the bands are made up of puerto ricans..

I remember it being Oct 2020, getting ready for an experimental surgery that was my last hope to stop a degenerative bone disease I was diagnosed with 7 months prior. I had 3 failed surgeries prior to it and it became more bleak every passing day. I remember being in a dark spot, crying as something out of my control took over. My brother texted me “wipe those tears from your eyes, through the worst we prevail” right before I entered the operating room. It’s been nearly two years since that day, and it’s a saying I will always remember. 4 surgeries, and almost 2 years of rehab later, I prevailed

Austin resident here. The no concerts thing is killing everyone in this city. When shows start happening again, the scene is going to explode. The lockdown may prove to be a good thing for metal/hardcore in the long run.

Hatebreed is unreal with their music. They have the most positive message of anything going on these days. The 90's really did some damage with grunge and R&B but Hatebreed said eff this and turned it around. I wasn't a big fan in the beginning but like Motorhead, they were an acquired taste music wise. Lyric wise, they are the shit!!

I watched you open at History in Toronto for Anthrax and Black Label Society. My brother bought tickets and I didn't even know Hatebreed was going to be there!
For years now I have been one of the quit guys in the back but at one point I roared at something the lead singer said and my brother asked me " Do you know what he just said?" I shrugged and he said "He asked if any old school metal heads are coming out of mosh pit retirement tonight?" I laughed, handed him me phone, wallet, keys and bag of joints. Then my 46 year old ass became a pit fiend again.

Motivational speeches meets metal, the first time I heard this song many years ago it made perfect sense
I watch this and think back to when pits were extremely violent. It was like a warzone back in New England. Good times. And no. That pit is calm compared to some of the shit back in the 90's early 00's. People getting knocked out. Losing teeth. Fights galore. Watching the pit was almost as fun as watching the band.

not actual skinheads, just metal heads with shaved heads. Skinheads, listen to Nazi metal bands, and Go to Nazi shows.. Hatebreed, is not a Nazi band, its New York hardcore, which I used to be a part of the scene back in the day, and not only are these guys not racist, New York hardcore, CANT be racist by default. The scene has too many crossovers with black hip hop bands like Onyx and Biohazard, etc.. Not to mention many of the bands are made up of puerto ricans..
Hatebreed will always and is a hardcore band. To everyone complaining about the "swinging douchebags" that is what people do and did at hardcore shows.

I remember it being Oct 2020, getting ready for an experimental surgery that was my last hope to stop a degenerative bone disease I was diagnosed with 7 months prior. I had 3 failed surgeries prior to it and it became more bleak every passing day. I remember being in a dark spot, crying as something out of my control took over. My brother texted me “wipe those tears from your eyes, through the worst we prevail” right before I entered the operating room. It’s been nearly two years since that day, and it’s a saying I will always remember. 4 surgeries, and almost 2 years of rehab later, I prevailed
