My introduction to heavy music in gnrl is scarlxrd (British Trap Metal artist), When I listened to Heart Attack for the first time I got that 'AHA!' moment, I was thinking, ''Holy shit, this is what I needed for so long, it's so heavy!''
Then I found Slipknot, Korn, Linkin Park, Slayer(Dislike),Metallica(Dislike), and then just maybe 4 months ago, I found GOJIRA, I also loved this band instantly!

Same here, I got my first ever cd player and the two cds I got were Hansen (lol) and Mortal Kombat soundtrack.
Zero Signal literally changed my life.
Hard to believe how ahead of their time they were. This song is 22 years old now and still sounds better than anything on the radio today.

Fear Factory hired Fulber to produce and play keyboards on Demanafacture, and Front Line Assembly added a lot of heavy metal influences to their next album, Millenium.
since the 80's industrial metal has been around but no bands were there to lead the charge I mean sure u have Nine Inch Nails but they contributed to the alt rock scene not the industrial scene and then u have this band Fear Factory lead the charge with songs like EdgeCrusher, Replica, LinchPin, Shock etc, so while there were bands before Fear Factory like I said these guys lead it the most

Great bands & all equal at times, the only albums from Pantera & Machine Head which is really worth your time is, the classics called

Fear Factory imo were the only band of the 90's who consistently released classic like albums with Digimortal being the weakest up until that point & that was only because of internal feuding, I always consider Digimortal to be Fear Factory's

I listen to Fear Factory since I was born, my brother who is dead gave me the cd of album demanufacture, and I fell in love with them. This is the best band ever.

That killer Road-runner circle they had...Raymond and Christian...I haven't got over this album maybe over 5 years now and never will...Bands are still failing to reach the limits of this album...Burton sounded so good! Fear Factory and especially this album changed a lot of things for me and around me! Pantera, Sepultura, Fear Factory, Machine Head, Biohazard, Type O Negative, Slipknot ( All of these bands ruled)
I'm Korean, but when I was a teengaer, I spent my time listening to great US metal music from 90's, which was aired on TV's cable channels.
Back then there were a lot of indie bands in Korea that imitated your metal music. Of course it's almost gone now.
But now if you go into Billboard these days, all of them are black music like hip hop and R&B. How do you feel about this.

You had to enter your name as "AuxyRay" or "Sausage" or some shit to unlock it. Lol! None of that triangle, square, circle, circle shit. But yeah, Fear Factory tunes were throughout the gameplay, but this was the video you'd unlock. My first video I ever saw by them too... all because of that game. Ah, (sigh) memories.

Had the pleasure of seeing soulfly cover this at Goodthings festival Brisbane. Hadn't seen it performed live since fear factory 97 Tour. It's a FN rippa.
It was a pretty rad moment. Pit intensity levelled up a couple of notches as the riff kicked in.
My young ball drop was owed to this band..saw them many times...turned me into the man I am today...was in the pit and on stage with them at the big stink......man metal.....learn it. Defines what it is to be a badass

@@MadaraMK1 sadly from all reports the split was particularly nasty. I am hoping that in time they will be able to work out their differences.
@edes01 Christian did try to get the band back together, he wanted to work as a second guitarist and just move past the bullshit, Burton and Dino didn't want that. Christian has since moved on from this and Ramond has retired from drumming.
Burton has also left the band now, the whole thing is a mess. We'll be getting a new song with the new singer (Milo Solvestro) in the next couple weeks before they head out on tour with Static-X.

Saw them live in Bradford when they originally toured this album, to this day ome of the top 5 shows I've seen. They played the album note for note absolutely perfectly, one of the tightest live bands ever.

Saw this band in 1995 after falling in love with this album, and just saw them a few nights ago play it start to finish. So good. I hadn't listened to the album in years, but still knew every word of every song. Don't make em like this anymore. Replica is the first song I heard, don't even remember when or where, but I immediately went out and bought the cd.

I used to have this video on a roadrunner VHS called drilling the vain? All my friends would come to mine after school, get stoned and watch it! Moshing out in my living room. I used to get them to lie back on the sofa with their legs in the air and backwards crowd surf across their feet into a pile of cushions!! ! I was about 13/14 I'm almost 40 now and they were still my best memories, good times man

Being very late to see this vid on TH-cam. After soul of anew machine was releases I saw FF with Clutch Machine Head and Slayer. They played a sample of body hammer during the set and damn man it seemed forever for demanufacture to release. It was an Iconic album having song debut on mortal kombat movie and just being a oower packed album.
