What dealership are you at Frank? A lot of the first runs that were produced when we came back from the 7 weeks off that we had for retooling had some issue software, vendor & production issues. The quality is a lot better than it was with the early production vehicles.
Darrin Carter I am here in California and even now Ford is holding them in michigan for weeks for quality checks and fixing issues , yes the first batch was pretty bad but they still have issues and recalls , we are trying to compete with the big boys in luxury car market and there has been too much bad press

If you read consumer car reviews, every carmaker has its horror stories. I believe it starts and ends with the buyer - Who would rightfully agree to a car loan, without close inspection and clearance, on a (new) mass produced car with possible defects?
I bought my Navigator Black Label in September. Amazing vehicle. Truck capability, Raptor engine (0 to 60 in 5.5), and the best interior short of a Bentley. Best car I've ever owned (or drove, or rode in)
There is a whole parking lot you could park that white van but yet it's parked right on top of the Aviator while you're reviewing it it makes a lot of sense
There is already a major recall and class action lawsuit against Ford/Lincoln on this vehicle. I’m surprised you found one on the lot, my local dealership had to send all 11 of theirs back to Michigan. All of these coming out of Chicago, go figure, are experiencing horrible electrical issues, among those, emergency brake engagement at highway speed, dash cluster not working, seatbelts not working, the list goes on, don’t believe me, goggle it. My wife and I were going to test drive and more than likely buy one last weekend when we were told this from the salesman, how about that! A salesman.

I’ve had a new MKX every 3 years for the last 9 years and I’ve had 1 problem with my side view mirror that had a foggy looking edge, that’s it in 3 different vehicles that I had for 3 years each.

Lincoln brought the tall wagons back and nobody has batted an eye because they made them sexy and lux. The Aviator and the Corsair aren't really SUVs anymore ... and that's actually a good thing.
I wish there was less slope of the roof in the rear, and I wish that each door had the emergency release button the front driver's door has, to open the doors from the inside for when the battery dies.
Mark Keller The battery rarely dies. All the lights are LED. I don't think you can accidently leave the radio turned on ( like I did with my 2008 MKX). You would have to try real hard to kill the battery, real hard. A would be worried about not having a mechanical means to escape on each door right after an accident.
ugh - why are car manufacturers so sold on black plastic finishes??? That crap scratches like hell and picks up fingerprints worse than a handrail at a donut shop.....yuck. Nice car other than that.

I never understood people buying SUV's to be sporty. If you want something fast that handles well just buy a sports sedan or sports car. Not only do you get worse aerodynamics and worse handling in an SUV, the equivilent sports sedan is usually cheaper as well.
Upgraded ford flex eco boost. Come on guys don’t fall for the ole banana in the tailpipe trick. Reliability of the flex is horrible and I’m sure the same will go for this thing.

Everyone uses that crappy plastic. First thing to do when buying a new vehicle is have those B pillars wrapped. That way, no need to worry about them.
